02/04/2025: Small bar with a splendid and large terrace under the portico of the promenade along Passirio. Breakfasts with a modest assortment of cakes and croissants, snacks, aperitifs, small outdoor play area for children. Quick and courteous service, relatively low prices, perhaps to compensate for the decentralized position which however is an advantage, a green oasis with a view of the river, without roads or car traffic. 200m from the shopping streets and close to the Roman bridge. An ideal starting or ending point for walks and excursions along the routes that wind from there. Very popular.

26/03/2025: beautiful place on the promenades of Merano. evocative retro bistro, €6.30 for cappuccino and brioche are definitely too much, but the setting partly justifies them.

08/02/2025: I loved this hotel, it's a little expensive but worth it. The staff is very kind, night and day. A peaceful 18th century hotel, very clean and quiet, with impeccable parking. I recommend it, especially to lovers.

20/03/2025: Unfortunately we cannot rate it because the arrogance of the owners allows them to keep the inn closed from Friday to Sunday. Update: apparently the opening times have been changed.

22/12/2024: We stayed there for one night at the end of October on the Merano High Trail. It was by far the most expensive hut we visited. The rooms, while clean, were very dated. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. The breakfast selection was very limited. The view from the balcony was very nice, but not worth the extra charge.

02/04/2025: Wir waren früh schon mal hier und richtig begeistert. Jetzt war das Mittagessen richtig schlecht. Die Pilzsuppe hatte kaum Geschmack und war zu dickflüssig. Der Spargel war viel zu hart, die Kartoffeln ebenfalls. Leider sehr enttäuschend.

01/04/2025: The hotel is in the very centre,close to most things.The staff is more than helpful and friendly.The rooms are extremely small you are almost lucky if you can turnaround!! But therefore is the balcony spacious.

07/02/2025: Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, im Restaurant Kirchsteiger zu essen, und ich kann nur Positives berichten! Die Pizza ist einfach lecker – perfekt belegt und mit einem tollen Geschmack. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Anna, die das Herz des Kirchsteiger ist. Ihre herzliche Art und ihr strahlendes Lächeln machen den Besuch zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Sie sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort willkommen fühlt und hat unseren Abend wirklich bereichert. Ich kann das Restaurant Kirchsteiger nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch! Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung!

04/03/2025: We were there by chance and left thrilled. I've eaten many pizzas but this one was to die for. Wafer-thin dough is super crispy and you'll be happy to eat the edge too. Service was very nice and quick. The furnishings are typically Italian (retro) and the toilet is very clean and technically good. We were completely satisfied and will eat there again. Promised. PS. the pizza knives also cut well.

04/04/2025: Gentilissimi siamo stati nel vostro rifugio a fine febbraio x come vi presentavate su instagram ci sembravate ottimi con buona cucina e menù eccellente Quella sera il locale era vuoto eravamo solo noi eravamo in 3 .. si aspettava l'occupazione di un altro tavolo che fine alla fine della nostra cena non fu occupato ci siamo fidati del menù del giorno dello chef su proposta dell'unico cameriere stinco di maiale cotto a bassa temperatura e fine cottura in forno Purtroppo il piatto proposto non era affatto buono Lo stinco si presentava calloso, carne dura e gommosa .. inimmaginabile!! Lo abbiamo mangiato perché a casa nostra bisogna mangiare tutto (così ci hanno insegnato i nostri genitori) niente deve essere buttato o lasciato nel piatto ma a posteriori ci siamo pentinti sia di averlo mangiato sia di averlo pagato Inoltre lo chef ha ammesso che forse l'animale era "anziano" Certo ci avete deluso noi siamo venuti senza aver letto nessuna recensione ma voi non ci avete trattato affatto bene Abbiamo ancora lo stinco sullo stomaco!!!

15/03/2025: An authentic and unforgettable experience! I was at the Typical Restaurant at Dosarel and I must say that it was a pleasant experience from every point of view. The food is simply excellent: we tried the potato tortei with cured meats and cheeses, the canederli and the ravioli, and I couldn't really choose my favourite... they were all exceptional! The desserts are also good! But what struck me even more was the warmth of the place: you can feel the love and care behind it, from the history of the restaurant - born from an old stable transformed into a wonderful environment - up to the service, which was impeccable, attentive and incredibly kind. I felt welcomed as if I were at a friend's house, and this is a feeling that few places can convey. If you are looking for a place to enjoy quality typical dishes in an authentic and welcoming environment, this restaurant is a must try. I'm not from the area, but I will try to go back!

09/03/2025: We went for lunch today, the place is very nice. We took two potato cakes (18 euros each). They brought us some very good tortei (I would say a sufficient number). Too bad that the side dish was really poor: one slice of salami each, one of speck (there were two half slices each), a couple of slices of bacon and ham. Three pieces of cheese and a jam. A cup of borlotti and capusso (which I recommend bringing first because it is good if seasoned in advance). Two bites and we had finished the accompaniment. We asked if we can have some more cured meats and they served us another platter (a little more generous than the first). With this we ate enough. We had a glass of house wine which was good. At the checkout we realize that for the addition of the cold cuts they charged us 10.80 for a cutting board. If I ask if I can have some more cold cuts and you bring me a paid cutting board, you tell me. I have eaten tortei in the area many times and have never had them bring me two slices of cross-cured meat. The tortel in Val di is not famous and generally you eat a nice plate of it and they usually ask you if you want other tortei/companaticos without extra costs. After our complaint they kindly reduced the cost of the cutting board to 5 euros. I wouldn't stop because I don't think it's right to find myself in this situation. I would rather propose the tortel for a few euros more but I would give a portion that is not ridiculous. The diner will then decide whether to spend that money (but he knows this before ordering, otherwise you are forced to avoid leaving hungry)

26/03/2025: Very nice restaurant with very good food - no problem with preparing gluten-free versions. Quite busy, you usually have to wait a few minutes for a table, but it's really worth it. Very nice service.
