29/03/2026: Simply embarrassing! Two of us go in, sit down, the girl comes over and after asking us what we're having, she asks, "Do you pay by debit card or cash?" We already look at each other perplexed; I've never had anyone ask me something like that while I'm ordering. The appetizers arrive, and before we even have time to take our first sip, my colleague comes over and without a good morning or good evening, "Pay me, you're all set!" But there's really nothing right here!

09/04/2026: I went last Saturday before entering the spa and had a caffè corretto at the counter.
The coffee was good, but the price was ridiculous: 4 euros, and they didn't issue a receipt.
08/04/2026: I ordered asparagus salad with ham. You imagine: a green salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, and asparagus. What arrived was an outrage for €15. The asparagus was finely chopped and marinated in vinegar and oil, accompanied by a whole, poor-quality cooked ham, probably from a package, and egg salad, also from a package.

10/08/2025: An impulse purchase, as I'm a pine essence lover. This cream is nothing more than sweetened condensed milk; the mountain pine essence is completely invisible, neither to the smell nor to the taste.
The packaging lists the website dolomiti-shop.it, but there's no mention of the product on the website.
I don't question the quality of other products in the shop, but one thing that's quite disconcerting is the very high prices for products that are certainly unique, but can be found anywhere else at a lower price.

30/10/2025: It's not just a bar but also a pizzeria and trattoria. It's a place from another era, pre-fast food, I'd say, very Italian. We stopped for lunch. The owners were good and welcoming. The place was very simple, with average food. Prices were very good. The two of us ate, plus coffee and two boeri = 22 euros!
28/09/2025: At first glance, everything was fine.....then a little while ago the barmaid, who is related to me, called me and told me that someone had gone to say that we had consumed something and hadn't paid. I would like to tell this person that I wouldn't stoop to that level.

In the year of God 2025, it's ridiculous that you can't pay with Amex: it costs the same as the competition. What will happen at the Rosa Alpina farm in San Cassiano? They'll accept it! Why not at Sponata...?

No welcome whatsoever! The oldest woman spoke to us and took our order without even looking at us!!!
What we ate was actually quite good.
When it came time to pay, the man refused to accept card payments. He told me to withdraw money from an ATM…
I told him that wasn't possible for me because I only have my bank card on my phone.
He told me to go next door to the hotel (which is part of the café-bar) and wait…
In the end, I paid by card and I'll never set foot in that place again!!!

At the checkout, they don't like the POS; they prefer cash.

15/12/2025: I just ordered a diavola pizza and was charged €13.50, only to find out that "they"—meaning "those from Alto Adige"—make it with peppers and olives.
I called to clarify that I'm allergic to peppers and that I hadn't asked for this pizza, in fact. And I was told to remove the things I don't like and that they couldn't help me. Terrible.
02/12/2025: Fast delivery, pizza was very tasty, highly recommended.

27/03/2026: Great café/restaurant with delicious snacks and ice cream, as well as an interesting selection of regional wines.
Very friendly and attentive service.
If you enjoy the lively atmosphere of the square in Kaltern, this is the place to go.
It was our first time there, and we'll definitely be back.
Highly recommended!
09/03/2026: Friendly, very attentive service. Unfortunately, the Passion Spritz consisted mostly of ice, making it definitely too expensive. The focaccia was rock hard and was returned. A new focaccia was brought, which unfortunately was no different from the first. Only the rustic bread was delicious. A real shame.
