17/10/2025: Well, for me, it was the worst pizza of my vacation. And unfortunately, also the most expensive. The service was nice, but I didn't think the pizza was very good.

15/02/2026: I don't know why it has so few stars, I've been getting it here all my life and it's always been good.

23/01/2026: We've eaten here a few times and have always been satisfied, but unfortunately, the last time we went, an unfortunate incident occurred. We ordered a takeout pizza and only after opening it did we notice a piece of green chewing gum touching the pizza. We were surprised and disappointed; we can't explain how this could have happened. Although it's always been a good pizzeria, due to this incident, we can't recommend it.

11/11/2025: Good pizza, a bit small. Takeaway pizzas are more pinsa-style, but rounder than a classic pizza, making them heavier, so the size is just right. Good toppings.

06/10/2025: We ate a really good "tasty sandwich." I recommend it.

15/11/2025: The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were really impressed by how seamless everything was. The courses arrived quickly, with almost no wait. Superbly organized! The only slight drawback was the portion sizes. They were adequate and filling, but you couldn't really eat your fill. The decor was fine. We'd gladly come back again 👍.

04/11/2025: A small, charming pizzeria (and bar) frequented by many locals. The service is extremely friendly, and in my opinion, the pizza is the best in the area (Kronplatz, Rasen-Antholz). The Jägerpizza (hunter's pizza) is fantastic.

10/04/2026: Great location right on the lake, no frills, clean. Negative: ID card is confiscated, we don't like that at all!

09/04/2026: The campsite's location is excellent, right next to the lake. However, my experience was negative for one important reason. They retain guests' ID cards during their stay, which I consider completely inappropriate and even illegal. As a Spanish citizen in Italy, I have an obligation to carry my documents with me at all times, not to leave them in the hands of an establishment. Furthermore, we offered to pay for our stay in advance so we could get our documents back, but they refused, claiming it was campsite policy, without offering any alternative. For this reason, I would not recommend this place.

09/11/2025: The food was good and the service was okay, but a small constructive criticism: it's important to be clear with customers. It wasn't specified that ordering a bottle of wine and drinking it inside would result in a 40% increase in price compared to the price displayed. Thank you very much!

13/04/2026: First, a very important notice for Muslims 🛑 The chicken is not halal. It's best to avoid anything questionable. Order seafood; the chicken is not slaughtered according to Islamic rites. 🛑 Second, the food is very bad, and the service is even worse. We called the waiter to take our order, but he was chatting with the cashier and ignoring us. We called him several times, and he kept saying, "Wait." When he noticed our annoyance, he stopped talking to the cashier and allowed the waiter to take our order. After that, we waited 40 minutes for our order to be ready. The order from the Europeans after us arrived before ours, even though it was the same as ours. Their treatment of Arabs in general, and Muslims in particular, is very bad. They are completely unwelcoming. This is definitely not an experience we will repeat. If your food isn't delicious, at least work on your service to gain customers. Neither the food nor the service is good. This restaurant is a failure, and it's understandable that it doesn't have many customers, unlike the neighboring restaurant "SUD," which is always crowded. The reason is the service ✔️ The shrimp arrived uncleaned, and we couldn't eat it. The rice had no spices. Unfortunately, it was unusable. For delicious Indian food, use an onion.

07/04/2026: I always feel that first impression is the last impression..... This was my first visit there and 90% the last too... They have named it 'Taste of India' but sorry you are not doing justice to the name..... Please go to Boss Brescia and learn from him about respect, service and how to treat customers... I hope this is helpful. And if u don't take my advice so... please change the name

29/03/2026: The hotel is very nice. Unfortunately, the pool isn't open yet, but it looks great. The food is also good and tasty. I'm giving it five stars, but I could also give it 4.5 because they didn't bring us another dessert when we asked. 😁😅

25/09/2025: No entry with dogs. That's generally not a problem if you make it known somewhere. We just kept going.

14/09/2025: A very bad experience, the owner was very unpleasant. When he wrote down an order incorrectly, he snapped at us: "Eat and be quiet." The owner was nice, apologized, and didn't charge for the incorrect dish.

24/10/2025: We've been guests in Algund for years and regularly, often several times, at the Ruster Restaurant. The food was, as always, great, and the prices reasonable, even compared to other restaurants. The service, as always, was friendly and attentive. However, I really miss the South Tyrolean dialect of the service staff; they're increasingly speaking Italian, but we are in Italy after all :-) My only criticism, unfortunately, is the boss himself... I would expect a restaurateur and hotelier to at least briefly greet (not greet) his guests as they pass by. Two weeks ago on Sunday, we were at the beer garden for dinner, and some guests had asked the waiter to turn off the heaters because it was getting a bit chilly. At some point, Mr. Reinthaler came out, rather grumpy, walked past the guests without a quick greeting, and turned on the heaters. But as I said, this is our only "criticism," but it won't stop us from returning to the Ruster on our next vacation in Algund.

19/10/2025: I ordered takeout, but I didn't get what I wanted. After I complained, they brought me the correct food, charging me extra money, and I'd already tasted the sandwiches. Unacceptable, totally disgusting, I strongly advise against it.

11/10/2025: We called and got no answer 10 times in the space of an hour.

06/03/2026: Reservations are a must. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, the service top-notch. The food is out of this world. There's a cigar room next to the main dining room to enjoy a whiskey and a smoke, if you need it.
