28/08/2025: I tried the hazelnut and elderflower gelato once. Both were good. I'll try it again, but so far, it's the best gelato in Male.

18/08/2025: Good gelato, especially the elderflower and cherry flavors. Friendly staff, nice place both inside and out.

22/10/2025: Nice café with a great children's play area, friendly staff, and fast service. The kids had a great time playing in the Duplo/glasses corner, and the sandwiches were perfectly fine.

30/08/2025: Café right on Schenna's main street. Delicious cakes (especially the whipped cream). Super friendly and dog-friendly staff.

03/09/2025: Great hotel with renovated rooms. Overall, excellent value for money. Definitely recommendable.

27/08/2025: The hotel is in a wonderful location; the rooms are welcoming and the staff is always helpful. I stayed with my family and really appreciated the attention paid to our little ones. The cuisine is refined and excellent. The rooms are meticulously clean.

20/12/2025: Excellent for an outdoor aperitif after the Christmas markets and before dinner. The friendly and helpful waitresses are always happy to accommodate your needs. Recommended.

08/12/2025: It's not very big inside, but there's plenty of space outside. The coffee and pastries are excellent, even the gluten-free ones. The hot chocolate is delicious. Kudos to the staff, who were very kind, courteous, and quick to take orders despite the rush of the Christmas markets 👏👏👏♥️

03/10/2025: We planned to eat here on September 29th and were extremely disappointed! Although the restaurant was listed as open, we arrived at around 2:45 PM when we found a sign prohibiting any further travel. So we had to park by the lift and climb a steep 20-minute climb, as the area was currently undergoing renovations. A call to check whether the hut was still open went unanswered. When we reached the top, the restaurant had already closed at 3:05 PM, even though the opening hours were listed until 4:00 PM. Given the extremely poor parking situation, the listing should at least be kept up to date!

01/08/2025: The swimming pool is truly beautiful and in a great location. Super clean, and hardly anyone has been there in the last three weeks... Two negative points that have nothing to do with the pool's atmosphere. - Food (pizza is all well and good, but with the number of school/holiday groups, etc., they could come up with something special for the kids, like fries, etc.) - Lifeguard (often bored on their phones)

28/12/2025: We are writing to share feedback regarding our recent, and regrettably, final stay. While this was our third visit, the hotel’s atmosphere has shifted from a family resort to a tourist compound as it expands. We observed a significant decline in service, indicating a lack of expected 5-star staff training. Our food orders were consistently incorrect late or completely missing for five days, and front desk operators frequently forgot requests, struggled with simple requirements, and lacked empathy and professional courtesy. Additionally, the food quality dropped significantly. The pasta was consistently overcooked, flavors were flat, and the lunch buffet appeared to be composed of leftovers. It seems the hotel is currently struggling to balance the increased quantity of guests with the quality of the experience.

22/12/2025: It is our fifth stay at Feuerstein and I surely have a thorough understanding of both the resort and the region. Food is great; staff, for many I know by face by now, are very nice; facilities are good for kids; and the best massages I have ever had in Europe. The fact I have returned for four times shows how much I liked it. Having all these being said, my stay of last week fell apart. The overall issue is simple: the resort is expanding fast but many seasonal staff were not well trained. I have food orders missing in the air, confused dinner service and the worst of the worst, was the check out. The day before our departure, I saw my neighbour chalet parents moving with multiple bags and three young kids. It was quite chaotic so I was giving a hand. I asked why they did not call for the service. The response was: "we did but they never came; and now our shuttle bus to the airport is leaving...." Ok, so we decided to move the luggages ourselves to make sure everything is on time at departure. I checked out at 10:30am at the reception. Between 10:30 and 12:30, I was locked out of the chalet twice as the key card did not work. The staff came to deliver new card each time very quickly but did not mention much why I was locked out. The most frustrating part was when we are all packed with luggages and two kids walking towards the garage, our key card could not open the garage door. For those who have never been here, this is a HUGE resort. My husband had to go all around the ground floor to enter the garage and open the door for us from the other side, while I was waiting with the kids and luggages. I wrote an email to complain. The response i received was no more than saying: it is our rules and it is not our fault. The overlooked fact is these rules are NEW (because we were invited for lunch of the departure day many times before and now it cost 100 Euro covering lunch and facilities but not the room). I am not objecting the new rules or the cost involved; but please explain them better as they are very confusing even for the returning customers! For ski classes for children, Feuerstein does not book for the guests. Although the transfer and coordination between the resort and ski has been smooth, it is still a bit stressful to arrange the ski lessons by yourself, while other similar resorts in the region will do that for the guests. Also, compared with other family resorts, the activities offered to adults are very limited here. There are gym lessons everyday but very few outdoor activities to explore the region.

18/12/2025: Excellent, recently renovated hotel. The only downside is the poorly maintained wellness area, with intermittent showers. It could use a bit more staffing.

15/10/2025: Magnificent hotel. Relax for a few days in the on-site spa... and get to know the "pink" Dolomites. Excellent mountain views. A unique location for hikes and walks. Cuisine featuring traditional dishes. Extremely friendly staff. Especially with our dog, it's always a bit difficult to find availability. What more can I say? We'll be back!!!

08/12/2025: We stopped at this restaurant for dinner, a group of four. Upon entry, we were greeted by the waiter who seated us in a deserted, unheated room. Despite repeated requests to move to the heated room, we were ignored until a seat finally became available in the main room and we annoyedly asked to be moved. The service was very sketchy; the waitress (who I assume was the owner) left cutlery and napkins in the center of the table without handing them out or setting the table. The pizzas weren't among the best I've had, being of a medium-low standard. The fries were almost raw on the pizza, and the vegetable pizza wasn't what we'd asked for. When we asked for parmesan, they brought us the grated kind you put on pasta. And finally, the surprise was the bill!!! The prices didn't match those on the menu, but were all higher; for example, the capricciosa went from 10 to 13 euros. We won't be returning.

23/11/2025: Friendly staff, but the food takes forever and isn't worth the money. Dumplings are hard and schnitzel is oily...

07/03/2026: Historic pizzeria in Bolzano, in Piazza Gries, a rustic and informal 90s style place, good pizza (for those who like the classic, no high edge and no gourmet), excellent ingredients, possibility of dining outside too (pity about the bus stop).

20/12/2025: I went to the bar, we ordered a coffee and a zero-sugar Coke. They brought us the Coke in a glass but without the cap. I didn't notice at first, but we started drinking and I realized there was something strange about the Coke. I checked the information on the bottle and it was a regular Coke, not zero! I told the girl at the bar that they had the wrong Coke and that I had ordered a Coke zero. They said they were sorry and wouldn't change it because it had already been used. In my opinion, if you bring me the wrong drink, you should change it! They didn't change it, and on top of that, they charged me for the drink I hadn't ordered!

18/11/2025: The food is good, but this guy never knows how to close a burrito. Only one person makes a mistake... He should take a burrito-closing course.

26/11/2025: The quality has significantly deteriorated. I've always gone to this bakery for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday mornings, and I used to be very happy with the fresh, delicious croissants. But a few months ago, everything changed. Three times in a row, at different times, I've had significantly worse quality, both in terms of service and croissants. Every time I go for breakfast, they never have any croissants because they've already run out (at 9 a.m.). Furthermore, the few items left have deteriorated in quality compared to the old, delicious croissants they used to make. Probably because they're stale food from days ago. I'm sorry, but I won't be coming here for breakfast again.
