17/08/2025: Fontana Bianca Lake (Weißbrunnsee) is a pearl of the Ultimo Valley, well-maintained and enchanting at nearly 1,900 meters above sea level. It's easily accessible by car (parking €8) or by bus/shuttle from Santa Gertrude, or even on foot along the valley's trails. It's perfect for a relaxing stroll around the lake or as a starting point for beautiful hikes to mountain huts, alpine lakes, and scenic refuges: Malga Fiecht, the circular hike to Fischersee and Malga Fiecht, Lago Verde, and Rifugio Canziani, or longer routes, such as the circular trail between the lakes (Verde, Pescatori, and Lungo). Advanced panoramic hikes are also possible, such as to the summit of Monte Chiodo.

12/05/2025: Michaela and Ewald run the Johannserhof farm with simplicity, passion and a lot of love for their land. It is a magical, authentic place, where you can observe South Tyrol up close, from the eyes of those who live it every day cultivating the land and raising animals. All their products are homemade, the management is completely family-run, attention is paid to every little detail. The internal Stube is simply wonderful and smells like home. Treat yourself and visit this unique place for an autumn Törggelen!

07/09/2025: This was our second time here after a very good first experience. The staff was rushed. We ordered two pizzas. The pizza filoncino Primavera looked good on the outside (a rolled pizza). Inside, the dough looked undercooked. When we asked if the dough was supposed to be like this, we were told it was normal. We didn't eat this piece of pizza. A little later, another staff member came and asked if the pizza needed to go back in the oven. A bit late... The plate with the undercooked pizza slices was immediately taken away and thrown away. No apology, nothing. What a shame!

20/08/2025: They say from 9 to 10pm but if you arrive at 2.30pm sharp they won't give you anything to eat, call first or look for another place, I'll leave hungry and disappointed, thanks

28/07/2025: We stayed there three times during a week-long vacation in Cavalese. The place was welcoming, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent.

21/08/2025: Friendly staff, average pizza (arrived hot), and reasonable price for the location. Would I go back? Yes.

18/08/2025: We went there for dinner and tried the pizzas, they were tasty and plentiful with quality ingredients, shame about the "noise" they made with loud music in the street in the hotel opposite (we were told it's always theirs).

03/08/2025: Il locale è molto accogliente ma è soprattutto il servizio che ci ha colpito: molto professionale, competente e disponibile. I due ragazzi che hanno seguito il nostro tavolo ci hanno fatti sentire a nostro completo agio. Anche con complete illustrazioni dei piatti e dei produttori. Il conto non è economico ma è perfettamente in linea con quanto proposto.

04/08/2025: A mountain hut run by young, friendly people. You eat outdoors among the chickens and turkeys, who don't bother you. The food is authentic and all homemade. The dumplings are fantastic, as are the lemon balm, raspberry, and dandelion juices. The Kaiserschmarrn is phenomenal! It's challenging to get there, but the effort is well worth it.

07/09/2025: We spontaneously booked a night at the hotel (we were passing through). The staff was very nice and friendly, and the room was also very clean. Upon arrival, we asked how long we could stay in the garage the next day, as we still wanted to see the city. The next day, at the cable car, we learned that some hotels have guest cabins. These would have allowed us to use the cable car and narrow-gauge railway for free. We didn't have this card and had to pay the full €40 for two people! Since the hotel, which isn't cheap anyway, didn't tell us about this, we're reducing our otherwise top rating accordingly. This isn't fair.
