09/10/2025: What an incredible property! The views of Montepulciano and the entire valley are amongst the best in Tuscany. The apartments and rooms are spacious and well equipped. The pool was still open for us in October, but I can only imagine how great it is during the summer heat. It’s perfect for romantic getaway or for families. The onsite restaurant was fantastic, from the food to the great service. The shuttle service is prompt and readily available; it’s less than a 5 minute ride to inside the walls. Andrea and his team were the best. I highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again. We have been to Montepulciano several times and this property is amongst the best we’ve stayed in.

21/11/2025: We stumbled upon it almost by accident, just passing through. We ordered a platter of cured meats, which I must say was good. The osso buco was a bit less so, as it was burnt, which meant it tasted the same. The pici with ragù were enjoyable. Overall, it was good, but I wouldn't go back on purpose.

20/11/2025: High price 2 appetizers and 2 soups, water without wine because it wasn't available. €59 to eat under the loggia, which was also very hot because it was covered with a plastic curtain.

14/10/2025: We wandered in by chance but were immediately struck by the beauty of the wine bar, which was converted from a cellar. It was truly charming. The crostini were one better than the last, excellent cured meats, and excellent wine! The sommelier, truly kind and knowledgeable, recommended and explained every tasting. The local products from small, truly delicious wineries were delicious. It's impossible to leave without a bottle of Montepulciano red! Definitely not to be missed!

27/09/2025: Strolling along Montepulciano's main street, past the windows of artisans, painters, wine shops, restaurants, churches, museums, and exhibitions, while waiting to return to Genoa, drawn by a beautifully furnished wine tasting shop, we were greeted with elegance, professionalism, and empathy by a lady whose kindness and beauty immediately made us understand that this would be a wonderful experience. And so it was, and will remain a fond memory of this brief stop in a splendid Tuscan town. To begin, we enjoyed two glasses of wine, a white and a rosé, both fantastic. A selection of platters, carefully arranged by the lady, included excellent cheeses, cured meats, and a historic giardiniera. Then, a taste of a wonderful historic wine, Grono di Pierino Farina, a delightful aroma and flavor that satisfies the palate and leaves the mouth full of flavor. The lady spoiled us with her helpfulness and knowledge. We were truly satisfied and delighted to have spent so pleasantly part of our short stay in Montepulciano in this characteristic establishment.

20/01/2026: Two pizzas and two beers for €56. Too much, both for tourists and especially for locals. Very fast service; the pizza arrives very quickly, and just as quickly (with the pizza still on the table) the waiter almost sends you away. Nice atmosphere. Good pizza, but average, nothing special.

06/12/2025: First affordable place I've found upon entering Montepulciano, and honestly, it lives up to its hype. The first courses are plentiful and succulent. I haven't tried the appetizers or main courses, but I imagine they're on the same wavelength. The glass of wine is a bit pricey. Overall, it's good, although one room is a bit small.

05/01/2026: GOOD MORNING We had a really WONDERFUL New Year's Eve dinner!!!! The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the timing was perfect so we could then go out and stroll before celebrating midnight. The price was RIGHT!!!! We'll definitely be back. 04/01/2026: ...we were with a group of camper friends... 30 people for New Year's Eve!! What can I say... the food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the location was very nice, very close to the main square!! We had a great time, and they even set aside a room just for us!! Everything was delicious... the tagliatelle with duck ragù and the tagliata were sublime... and the chocolate salami was top notch!! Thank you so much!!

12/12/2025: The opening hours are misleading, they dont serve any food after 22pm, extremely far and high from the town's entrance. We clime all the way up there for nothing.

16/09/2025: Being vegan, I was sure I was going to have a great time there. And indeed, the four-course dinner, in this beautiful setting with a view, was delicious, refined, and intimate. I recommend it with my eyes closed.

19/12/2025: I stayed here for a week to explore the area. I was the only tourist in December, so it was wonderfully quiet. The staff is very courteous and welcoming, the rooms are simple but spacious and cleaned daily. I had a room facing the courtyard, so it was quiet upon arrival, even though the hotel is right on the main road. There is free parking at the hotel, and a bank, a pharmacy, and a small supermarket are within walking distance.

26/09/2025: The gelato masterclass with Nicola was very interesting. We made our own gelato from peach to sorbet and it was just delicious! Our daughter was never into vanilla ice cream, yet the vanilla gelato we made here, she loooved. Nicola and his team only use highest quality products, and that is something you taste. The pistachio was the best I ever ate. The one with caramel was so good. The chocolate very deep and intense (yet I learned not to stick to my fave chocolate all the time because there is really a whole world of splendid tastes they make 😋). Gracie mille!

The quality of the ingredients used is truly excellent, the rooms are clean and well-organized, and the location is truly excellent, right in the center. What can I say? It's a shame I only have to give it 5 stars.
