14/06/2026: We had a delicious meal at La Vineria. The service was friendly and they were helpful in making our choices. The meal was good value for money and there was a great choice of local wines.
13/06/2026: I bought two 1kg cheeses, one salami, and four bottles of wine and asked for a discount, but they barely gave me one. However, the service and the product were good.

22/06/2026: A truly excellent experience. We ordered the Tuscan cured meats and cheese platter and a glass of wine, and in addition to the quality of the food and wine, the kindness and courtesy of the waitress was noteworthy. Fantastic quality and price.

12/06/2026: My hubby and I had a great meal at this lively and fun filled pizzeria. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed with families and couples. The owner/host made us feel welcome and we ordered the fried stuffed olives and mozzarella to start. Delicious.!! Then came 2 faboulous pizzas and wine. The pizzas were great!!! Sadly, we had no room for dessert. The staff worked well together, creating a warm and welcoming experience.
11/06/2026: The waitress who served us was rather unfriendly; she seemed unwilling to serve us because she couldn't understand us in our broken Italian, English, or Spanish. We asked for fries with side dishes, and she didn't even notice. The pizzas are very good, typical Italian thin-crust pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven, like the ones you can get at any Tagliatella restaurant, which really bring back the authentic taste of Italy. The place is nice, with parking nearby. I can't comment on the hotel because I didn't stay there; this review is for the restaurant. It's inexpensive, but the food is quite good.

28/06/2026: Food was decent but service leaves much to be desired. This fly was in my coffee and ended up in my mouth (I almost chewed on it). The server just laughed it off and said it’s not her fault that the fly “committed suicide”. I didn’t have a lot of expectations for the service level in the countryside but that reaction was just shockingly unprofessional.
21/06/2026: The service and food taste leave MUCH to be desired. We ordered our dishes and wine, and one of the waitresses came to serve us sparkling wine without explaining that it was a welcome drink. The food is mediocre for Italian standards and leaves much to be desired in terms of flavor. To pay the bill, we had to get up to pay because the waitresses didn't pay any attention to our table at any point. It's not worth the investment.

07/07/2026: It is an amazing restaurant. We sat outside, in a small street, and i was so cute and even if the tables are ‘close’ together, you still had so much privacy. The staff is very nice, and very secure. We just ordered a main and a dessert because we had a big lunch. But we got some bread, and 3 other small dishes before the main dish. And before dessert we got a pre-dessert. Thankyou!
04/07/2026: The owners are fantastic, and it shows in both the food and the service. Always a favorite when we're in Montepulciano.

05/04/2026: Looking for a place to have dinner, we accidentally found this place and had dinner there.
The salad and two entrees were very well received, and the service was friendly, helpful, and fast.
We recommend it!
17/03/2026: Stayed here for couple of nights. The hotel is attached to an enoteca where you can do wine tasting and do breakfast (need to ask in advance for an additional fee). The staff members were really helpful - I had a special request which was very well taken care by the hotel manager.
The hotel is close to the entrance of Montepulciano old city. There are several restaurants and bars nearby for you to choose.

20/03/2026: Recommended to us by staff at a local winery, we first appreciated the approach, which is summed up in the menu's introduction (see photo). Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.
19/03/2026: Excellent value for money, intimate atmosphere. I recommend reviewing the information found on Google: DOGS NOT ALLOWED! Contrary to what is written.

20/01/2026: Two pizzas and two beers for €56. Too much, both for tourists and especially for locals.
Very fast service; the pizza arrives very quickly, and just as quickly (with the pizza still on the table) the waiter almost sends you away. Nice atmosphere. Good pizza, but average, nothing special.

20/05/2026: Went there for lunch only, very friendly, small but good selection, good wine pairings, quaint atmosphere.
14/05/2026: This is the ideal perch to explore the highlights of Tuscany from. The rooms are clean and budget friendly, excellent value, but what really stands out is the service. Carolina was so helpful on everything from sight seeing to parking logistics. She made us feel like family.
Oh and never skip the breakfast. It is quite a spread.
10/10 would stay here again.

23/05/2026: I'd give 10 out of 5 if I could. We spent a week in Montepulciano and this place was a highlight of this week. Absolutely amazing service - knowing everything about wines they're serving and the region and guessing perfectly what would be my next favourite.
23/05/2026: This is definitely the best place to try local wines. Extremely knowledgeable staff and wines that blew our minds after trying the wines in many other places.

10/07/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance without searching Google Maps or anything else. It's a beautiful, well-kept place, small but with quality products and impeccable service. The owner explains all the wines and cocktails available, as well as the variations on the menu.
I also bought their olive oil, which I had tasted on my bruschetta, and what can I say? After a week, I've already finished it. Delicious! 😋
And as a Trentino native, I have to say I drank one of the best Aperol Spritzes I've ever had, made with Franciacorta (I don't remember exactly which one, but it was truly delicious!).
