08/04/2026: We discovered La Bottega dei Golosi and it was a delightful surprise! We tasted a truly delicious Vino Nobile, accompanied by excellent appetizers. The place is delightful, well-kept, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel right at home and also offering us valuable tips on what to see in Montepulciano. The wine selection is truly extensive and interesting, perfect for those who love discovering local flavors.

21/11/2025: We stumbled upon it almost by accident, just passing through. We ordered a platter of cured meats, which I must say was good. The osso buco was a bit less so, as it was burnt, which meant it tasted the same. The pici with ragù were enjoyable. Overall, it was good, but I wouldn't go back on purpose.

20/11/2025: High price 2 appetizers and 2 soups, water without wine because it wasn't available. €59 to eat under the loggia, which was also very hot because it was covered with a plastic curtain.

01/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, having searched for it online during a trip, and found ourselves in this little oasis of peace surrounded by nature a few kilometers off the highway. It presents itself as a simple trattoria, but we immediately knew we'd be satisfied, given that the number of cars there for a midweek lunch indicated it was well-known in the area. C: We started to select the dishes, even though everything was delicious! Typical local cuisine with some meat dishes and a wide assortment of lake fish. I tried a salmon trout tartare, which was amazing: I'd never tasted anything like it! The truffle crostoni, the fresh pasta picci with lake ragù, and the grilled fish were also delicious. We enjoyed it so much that on the return trip, we changed our plans to be able to return. U: Even though I'm not particularly fond of lake fish, these dishes won me over. Everything was delicious, traditional cuisine combined with innovation, with some unusual combinations. Just a little too much salt in some dishes (e.g., the tomato gnocchi) for my taste, but everything was very good! Recommended!

30/07/2025: Got a takeaway from here. A couple of pizzas and a beer. The service was amazing and the guy who ran it were lovely. Even went out the back to get me a ice cold beer. The pizza was really nice. A little salty for me, but I think that is for my tastes not for any other reason. Would happily go back.

14/09/2025: I came here to buy my favorite beer, Olmaia La5, which I think is one of the best craft beers I've tasted so far. The shop also sells other beers with more character, but I liked La5 for its character and flavor. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The brewery is a half-hour drive from the Valdichiana exit on the A1 motorway, about 7 km from Montepulciano in the town of Sant'Albino. It's a bit out of the way, but it's worth the trip.

29/08/2025: Anyone who thinks the wine country around Montepulciano is all about wine is mistaken: We discovered a little beer paradise in the "diaspora" 🍺😄. Delicious beer, warm and friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. A detour that's definitely worth it!

11/11/2025: I spent some time waiting for my agriturismo pickup at Montepulciano Station! The friendly bartender, delicious shakerato, and cake made the wait enjoyable! I think it would be a great place for Koreans waiting for their trains to stop by and rest!
