Avoid, there are better restaurants in the area.

18/01/2025: I stayed in this hotel a few km from Montepulciano during the Christmas holidays and I must say that I had a very good time. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and the bathroom is also comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with several delicious cakes made by them plus croissants and various biscuits, even the savory one had a lot of choice. For dinner there was the pizza restaurant under the premises which was also highly recommended. Very attentive and friendly staff. If you are in the area I recommend it

03/01/2025: Prenotato con the Fork. Facile da trovare. Ambiente piccolo ma molto conviviale. Servizio cortese, sicuro. Ordinato 2 antipasti e due primi. Assaggi pecorini ottimo, compresa la zuppa di ceci e castagne. Vino della casa buono. I pici di cinta senese molto buoni. Interessante il vinamisù. Consiglio di andare a provare, magari di giorno, in una bella giornata per apprezzare il panorama. Unico neo: la piccola sala è un pochino fredda....mettetevi un bel maglione. Ne vale la pena.
28/12/2024: La ragazza che ci ha servito molto disponibile e cordiale, ma purtoppo la sala era gelida, per un guasto alla caldaia, e non è stata fornita un’alternativa per riscaldare l’ambiente.
Mi sento di dire che rispetto alle porzioni ricevute il costo mi è sembrato esoso e purtoppo i pici, piatto tipico toscano, non erano assolutamente all’altezza della zona.
Taglioni invece buoni ma veramente pochi.

16/02/2025: The first one was good as they say, restaurant located on the square near the church of San Francesco, a few tables outside but the period was still cold and we sat inside. Even though it was full, the owner managed to find a place for all six of us. From the menu we tried crostini with liver pâté, ham and mozzarella to start, then we got the craving for pici and tasted those with nana (duck) ragù, ragù and garlic sauce. All washed down with an excellent Montepulciano red.

09/02/2025: The pub you don't expect: excellent cuisine, good quality ingredients and an extensive menu!
Pici alla carbonara really interesting and the fried chicken breast served with vegetables was delicious (it's not the usual industrial cutlet!) well done guys!
Perhaps the desserts could only be improved a little... but we must remember that we are still in a pub!
We will be very happy to return! Keep it up!
09/02/2025: Historic local pub, the new management, not the historic one, they are very good, the beer is excellent but also the food, pizza, burgers etc etc I recommend for evenings with friends but also as a couple, welcoming place👍🏻

Questo posto probabilmente è ancora aperto solo perché non c’è linea Internet lì fuori per guardare le recensioni.
Abbiamo preso una zuppa di fagioli che i fagioli li aveva solo visti passare, una brodaglia. Poi abbiamo preso un tagliere di verdure A KM 0: zucchine, melanzane, una bruschetta al pomodoro e delle verdurine fritte(qualche giorno fa) e riscaldate.
Il pane tostato… chissà perché 😆
Spero che qualcuno legga questa recensione prima di decidere di entrare in un locale del genere. Per me può chiudere.

caso. Qui ti senti davvero a casa
sia per lo staff, attento e cordiale. Siamo stati qui due sere di
fila ed abbiamo avuto modo di
provare più pietanze (tutte cotte
alla perfezione e davvero molto
buone) e diversi calici, tutti vini
buoni. Consiglio a chi si trova a
Montepulciano di passare, anche solo
per un aperitivo perché merita
davvero molto. Tornerò
sicuramente e grazie per
l'attenzione che date a ogni cliente.

20/02/2025: A stunning cafe which takes you on a step back in time. At every turn the decor is artfully arranged and furnished with old world style and taste. Sweeping views of the countryside are available from the window seats and balcony. The service was lovely and the food and drinks were set forth in period appropriate tableware. A gem of a place to take a break from window shopping and walking the hills of Montepulciano!
