25/12/2025: A very nice place, well-managed. It's a shame the drinks are a bit pricey, but especially the girl who makes them serves very small quantities. I hope it's not the place's policy, because it would be scandalous. I can pay whatever it's worth for a gin, but I expect the same amount as other places. Merry Christmas!

27/01/2026: I would have preferred to spend much more and eat much better (my plate was almost intact when it was brought back because the meat was not at all fresh) furthermore our table was in the worst place, 2 meters from the kitchen which most likely does not have an efficient extraction system, in fact our clothes smelled of fried food.

The workers' menu €15 was excellent, both in terms of quality and portion size! I'd be curious to try the à la carte menu, but if it's as good as the workers' menu, it's definitely even better, you can't go wrong! A very positive experience!!! Recommended

Tre Stelle Restaurant

12/12/2025: Whenever we head south from Piedmont, we like to split the A1 motorway journey into two legs, and now our choice for a stopover is always the Hotel Tre Stelle in Sant'Albino di Montepulciano.
The location is truly strategic, just a short distance from the Chianciano Terme exit, making arrival quick and easy, even after hours of driving.
But it's not just the convenience that wins us over: the hotel offers impeccable service. The rooms are always spotless, tidy, and welcoming; the staff stands out for their professionalism and kindness, making us feel like regular and welcome guests every time. The breakfast is also excellent: generous and carefully prepared, perfect for a fresh start.
For these very reasons, on our next trip to Campania, we've already decided to stay at the Tre Stelle for two nights, both on the outward and return journeys. It's become a true reference point for us: a pleasant and rejuvenating break in the heart of Tuscany. Highly recommended!
26/10/2025: I really liked this place, except for my last stay. I slept with my wife and grandchildren in room 102 on Saturday, October 11th. The disco-style bar was very noisy. Furthermore, since I couldn't find parking, I had the unpleasant surprise of asking the bartender for information. He was very rude, with an unkind tone, almost like someone who had overindulged in alcohol. A nasty person, in front of everyone, a scandal.

09/03/2026: We ate here because it was convenient and right across from where we were staying and we were very pleasantly surprised since some of the reviews are not good. The pizza was delicious. (It definitely wasn't frozen like some of the other reviews say. We could see her making it.) The salad was a tasty work of art, house wine was excellent , and the woman serving us was very friendly. She was the only one there so we did have to wait a little bit but it wasn't too long and we had a delicious carafe of wine to enjoy while we were waiting.
16/02/2026: We took the platter for two people, the cured meats seemed frozen and full of fat, almost inedible.

04/05/2025: Accoglienza calorosa in un locale dal grande fascino, immerso nel cuore della Val d’Orcia. Se siete amanti dei vini del territorio, l’enoteca La Dolce Vita è una tappa consigliata. Unico punto migliorabile è l’offerta gastronomica: considerando la raffinatezza dell’ambiente, ci saremmo aspettati una maggiore attenzione al gusto.

13/04/2026: If you're looking for good Italian food, look elsewhere. The lasagna was undercooked in the middle, and the tagliatelle with wild boar was tasteless. The meat was of poor quality. The restrooms were disgustingly dirty. The service was polite, but nothing special. You're paying for the location for low-quality food.
10/04/2026: The food was delicious. The lasagna was incredibly tasty, as were the gnocchi. Impeccable service. Most restaurants close at 3 pm, but this one is open continuously.

04/08/2025: The restaurant has changed management since December 2024, now it is called Public wine beer & food, significantly improving the service but above all the quality of the products offered...., in fact the reviews of the new management, from December 2024 onwards are excellent, try it you will not be disappointed, Daniela will make me taste her excellent dishes, pici, tagliatelle and artisanal ravioli accompanied by excellent cured meats and exceptional wine
01/06/2025: Siamo stati attratti dalla tipica trappola per turisti. Per fortuna avevamo già cenato in altri posti a Montepulciano molto più seri e rispettosi della clientela.
Parto col dire che la signora che cucinava non aveva una grande savoir-faire con gli ospiti. Abbiamo speso uno sproposito per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Pici al ragù di chianina e pici con crema di tartufo. Spoiler: la crema non era una crema ma letteralmente panna (secondo me proprio panna chef) con aggiunta di salsa tartufata che ci ha fatto pagare 15€ . Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni lei ha iniziato ad avere un atteggiamento passivo aggressivo e mi ha parlato dietro come se io non la sentissi, visto che il locale è un buco. Tra l’altro i cosiddetti pici fatti a mano secondo me li aveva presi al Conad. Ci credo poco che l’avesse fatti lei… comunque 44€ due primi e due calici. Un FURTO. Lasciate perdere. Ah tra l’altro cucina sporca. Mi sono pentita subito, può capitare.. spero che possa chiudere presto :) non metteteci piede!

16/02/2025: Abbiano pranzato oggi 16 febbraio , location molto bella , e cibo ottimo , pici al ragù di chianina consigliatissimi idem il tagliere di salumi formaggi e cantucci e vin santo , personale gentilissimo e molto cordiale chapeau

25/08/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance a few years ago, and since then, whenever we can in Tuscany, we try to make the most of the opportunity to stop by. Excellent food, with attention to detail and top-quality ingredients. Mrs. Francoise is always friendly and prepares unmissable desserts.
05/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene: si poteva apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti e la cura nel prepararli; le porzioni giuste e calibrate.
Consigliati i pici! Purtroppo non possiamo dare cinque stelle a causa della freddezza (o maleducazione) con cui siamo stati accolti e che ha contraddistinto il servizio di tutta la serata.
Se il cibo ci avrebbe spinto a ritornare e consigliare, il servizio non ce lo farà fare.
