24/08/2025: Nice place, friendly staff and good food

10/08/2025: A very pleasant dinner booked with Smartbox for two people: 1) the owner was very flexible with the reservation; 2) neither of us were wine experts, so we were recommended a fruity Calabrian wine, a Pecorello. Excellent. 3) The crostini appetizer was exceptional; everything was carefully prepared, using quality cured meats and ingredients. The first course was generous, with maniche pasta served with tomato sauce, garlic, pine nuts, and filling parmesan shavings. When we ran out of parmesan for the pasta, they brought it back to us with a dedicated grater and a dedicated piece of parmesan in an individual package, with an eye for hygiene. I would return.

30/08/2025: We went for lunch on Saturday and it was a delightful experience. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. The atmosphere was pleasant and decorated in a nautical style, as you'd expect from a seaside restaurant. The view complemented the excellent dishes. The appetizer consisted of five different selections, which I particularly appreciated both for its excellent quality and for the opportunity to try different dishes on the same plate: harmonious flavors and expertly paired sauces and bases. The fried fish was tasty and very dry. Desserts? A delight! Highly recommended!

04/09/2025: Very nice and tastefully decorated place, good service with friendly and fast staff, very good pizza, the only downsides are the cheesecake, which tasted only of pistachio syrup, and the higher-than-average prices (2 pizzas, 1 water, and 2 desserts: 50 euros)

18/08/2025: A couple of days ago, after mid-August, I went to Poldino with friends. Poldino is a place I've known for a long time, having frequented San Rossore Park for a long time. The scorching evening didn't affect the evening because the lush greenery of the park greatly mitigates the summer heat, and the beautiful wooden outdoor seating effectively deflects the daytime heat. We ordered a selection of appetizers because Poldino's are extremely attractive and certainly have little in common with the old-fashioned "ham and salami." Wonderful. Then I ordered tripe, which is a unique dish, far from easy to make, because it becomes heavy or overly filling with nothing. Instead, it was a delight. My wife and I shared these opinions. I'm not giving it five stars only because I plan on returning in the winter and dining in the dining room, where, for now, I've only photographed Poldino's cat. Excellent tablecloths, quality cutlery and glasses, homemade bread made with ancient grains, and attentive and extremely kind service. OBVIOUSLY, the magic of the place is the presence of wild animals such as foxes and wild boars, far from aggressive, very sweet, approachable and perfectly known to the staff.

07/08/2025: What a gem. Hidden away from all the tourist traps, and it certainly shows. THIS IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I EVER HAD. We got the chicken tikka and panak paneer. 👅🥘. The prices are very reasonable and service is excellent.

28/07/2025: I've been to this Indian restaurant several times and I must say it has never disappointed me. All the dishes are truly delicious; you can see the care taken in their preparation. One thing I really appreciate is the menu: easy to read, clear descriptions, and really helpful in understanding what you're ordering. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and available if you need advice. If you're looking for an Indian restaurant, this is definitely worth a visit.

02/09/2025: Fantastic food and wine, very friendly and attentive service, cosy ambience (I recommend a table inside!). Although we were already pretty full after Antipasti and Primi, we couldn't stand trying out Secondi, which was equally great. Finishing the evening with a recommended glass of yellow grappa was a fine ending of a great supper

10/08/2025: Very good pastry shop; we ordered a Veneziana and two filled croissants. The filling was generous, the croissant dough was flavored just right, and the Veneziana was soft with a delicious yet delicate cream. The staff were very courteous, helpful (the croissants were filled freshly), and kind.

27/07/2025: The ladies who work there are very nice, the coffee is very good, and the pastries are delicious. I recommend the pistachio brioche!

14/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant during our day in Pisa. You could see the chef preparing incredible pasta practically in front of you while singing! We enjoyed it from start to finish, with a special mention for the octopus pasta and the pistachio panna cotta—a real treat. If we ever come back, we'll definitely be back! But be sure to make a reservation; there aren't many tables and they get booked up as soon as they open.

11/08/2025: Best carbonara of my life!!! A VERY generous portion, at €12! The chef cooks right in front of us; she seems very cheerful and passionate about her work. I 100% RECOMMEND. The server isn't super friendly, but hey, the meal perfectly complements everything. I think you should book (we did it via Messenger, very quick response) because that lunchtime, several people were turned away.

02/07/2025: One of the best meals we had during our trip. The seafood here is incredibly fresh and full of flavour, you can really taste the quality in every bite. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. If you’re in Pisa and love seafood, this place is a must. We left completely satisfied and would happily come back again.

02/09/2025: The location is fabulous; being on the river, it's truly enchanting. The bar staff isn't always particularly welcoming or friendly. The food is far below expectations and has deteriorated over the years. The bathrooms are always dirty and unusable.

31/08/2025: A restaurant on the banks of the Arno near the Fortezza bridge. Deckchairs, swings, and tables for an aperitif or dinner. Exclusively seafood dishes available: fried fish, cod sandwiches, and shrimp sandwiches. We tried the cod and chips sandwich and the shrimp sandwich, both very good. Price: €10-€13 per sandwich. The atmosphere is lovely at sunset.

04/08/2025: In the heart of the city, a seafood restaurant you wouldn't expect. The internal courtyard is very pretty and welcoming, the staff helpful and smiling. The food is stellar, homemade delicacies to die for. We'll be back to try the octopus burger, which piqued our curiosity! Highly recommended!

28/07/2025: Excellent restaurant. We dined in the outdoor area, which was truly lovely. Everything was excellent, from appetizers to main courses. The first courses are especially noteworthy. Be sure to check out the special of the day, which is usually excellent! Super fresh produce! Highly recommended!

30/08/2025: We had lunch here for two days. The service was impeccable and the carbonara - ravioli with parmesan and truffles was delicious! And the dessert - tiramisu was delicious!

26/08/2025: Very good food, attentive service. The restaurant is located in a quiet little square. We went here for lunch and had a great time.
