11/10/2025: I've read is the best ice cream and honestly i was a bit sceptic and thought i'ts just a tourist trap but ice cream is amazing. Could be the best i've ever tried. So creamy. Yumm. Today i tried mango. Will come back tomorrow. Came back and tried lemon and pistachio. Lemon is just perfect in hot day like today.

29/09/2025: We had the best dinner here!! This was our first night in Italy and arrived late so we were thankful this place was open. The owners were so sweet cause I think they could tell we were nervous Americans in a country where we don’t speak the language. They even gave us complimentary desert wine. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! Truly throughout the rest of our trip, this dinner was such a highlight. Please go check this place out for it will not disappoint!

07/07/2025: An ideal place if you love meat, especially in the now consolidated version of "gourmet sandwiches". The selection of beers and wines is also good, and the staff can advise you on the best pairing. The only negative note is that it cannot be reached by car, but there are parking lots not too far away outside the ZTL. I definitely recommend it.

14/09/2025: There are many ways to understand pizza. For me, there's only one, unequivocal one. Neapolitan pizza, with its own specific rules. A wood-fired oven, a certain type of dough and leavening, the use of fiordilatte or buffalo mozzarella. There are pizzas cooked in an electric oven, the super-soft Spontini ones with a sheet of questionable yet seductive melted cheese, the very thin Roman ones, the ones unmolded by the excellent Egyptian pizza makers, with the specific weight of plutonium. I eat them, but I'll never write a review, because they remain mediocre for lunch and never rise to the poetry of a meal. The pizza at this pizzeria is cooked in an electric oven, and that already affects its quality. An electric pizza must be either triangular or rectangular. Round is deceiving. When you taste it, you can't quite tell where this pizza is going. It seems like in some bites it wants to be crispy and Tuscan, and in others it wants to be softer. It seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis. But tourists probably won't pay much attention to nuances.

16/10/2025: We waited less than ten minutes and the dish was ready: pork trio with baked potatoes, a 9/10. There's no table service, free water. You set the table and clear it in two seconds. Super place.

13/10/2025: I can't really rate the service because it's nonexistent! Customers have to serve themselves, but that's the brilliance of the idea. If you like it, the cost of dinner goes down without impacting the quality. It's a nice and obviously informal place. I liked it.

13/09/2025: An excellent ethnic restaurant in one of the liveliest squares in Pisa's city center. Specializing in meat, fish, and vegetable dishes cooked according to the ancient tandoor oven tradition, the restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating, offers a wide selection of incredibly tasty traditional Indian dishes: from appetizers (the mix of samosas, aloo bonda, paneer, sabzi, and chicken pakora is fantastic) to various basmati rice variations, from marinated chicken bites (the chicken tandoori and chicken tikka are excellent) to spicy lamb stew, served in characteristic decorated copper bowls (the mutton curry, or the even more "mean" mutton vindaloo, is fantastic), not to mention the pork, the many variations of nan (the traditional, thin Indian flatbread), and a wide selection of vegetarian options. As a beer enthusiast, I recommend pairing everything with the amazing Indian lager "Cobra": fresh and light, it pairs perfectly with the intense, smoky, and sometimes pungent flavors of the spiced meats! Sonia or her husband Sandeep will welcome you, show you to your table, and explain the menu: two exquisite, extremely polite, and competent professionals who will make you feel at ease, always offering a smile and a kind word! One last positive note, besides the perfect restrooms: the truly competitive prices, which, combined with the exceptionally high quality of the food, will encourage you to let go and indulge! In the last two years, we've been guests of "Tanduri" twice, and we can't wait to return!

27/09/2025: This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. I had an amazing tuna steak, my wife had a macaroni with vegetable and tomato sauce. The side of tempura veg was delicious. Desert also was fantastic, a chocolate and apricot marquise with blackberry coulis. The quality of the food was the best we have had on a 2 week holiday, and we have not had a single bad meal so this says a lot about this place. In addition our waiter was friendly and helpful and the owner was a delight. We are going back tonight! Prices also fair.Go there, don't delay!

16/09/2025: Even before the excellent food, both in quality and cooking method, the owner's friendliness is the real added value, and I really want to give him a big hug! The wait staff was impeccable! An excellent experience. We'll be back!!!

09/10/2025: We visited this restaurant and can't say enough good things about it! The service was impeccable, thanks to our waiter Gigi, who was truly talented and incredibly kind. He guided us through our selection of dishes, offering expert and friendly advice. Every course was a discovery of flavors: everything was delicious, from appetizers to desserts. In particular, the mushrooms were exceptional, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Even the wine, selected on Gigi's recommendation, enhanced every dish. A culinary experience we'll definitely repeat. Thanks again to Gigi and all the staff for the wonderful welcome!

24/10/2025: We found this place thanks to a free smart box, booked the day before, and enjoyed a platter of delicious cold cuts and cheeses with broccoli meatballs and a special green tomato jam, plus a delicious plate of trofie and a nice wine. The lady was friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much.
