Besides the exceptional and generous portions, several other key aspects must be added (at least in my opinion), first and foremost the service: there are professionals who make guests feel at home, taking care of them and creating a harmonious environment you never want to leave. And then there's Andrea; his anecdotes about the restaurant's family roots are touching, and his stories about his life are laugh-out-loudly tear-inducing. In short, when you go "da Gianni," you already know you'll have a fun evening eating fantastic food straight from the sea.

25/07/2026: Excellent experience. You can immediately sense the quality of the ingredients, and the dishes are well-prepared and presented with attention to detail. The service is courteous and helpful. My only small complaint: the wait for the appetizers and main courses was a bit long. Overall, however, the value for money is truly excellent, and the place is definitely worth a visit. Recommended.

21/07/2026: Very kind staff, excellent food. I had a top-notch Chianina steak, grilled vegetables and delicious baked potatoes as a side. Finally, for dessert, homemade cheesecake with delicious Nutella. We'll be back as soon as possible.

17/05/2026: The location is excellent, and overall it's a beautiful resort. If I had to offer a small constructive criticism, I'd give the front desk more attention. They didn't provide us with enough information, and it took us a quarter of an hour to find our room, asking for directions twice. Overall, I didn't experience this kind of courtesy in making guests feel pampered. Other couples felt the same way. At the gala dinner, a woman asked for chamomile tea after not eating anything; it was charged to her room. I find this rude. Think about it and use this review to help you improve.

03/06/2026: I can highly recommend visiting this campsite – it's absolutely beautiful! All the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially at reception. Our children and we had an incredible time at the playground with Uncle Luca! We'll miss you, but we've already planned to come back next year; our children don't want to go anywhere else on holiday now.

01/06/2026: The most beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from the west-facing, terraced campsite. The restaurant offers wonderful food, and the shop is open almost 24/7. The people who run this place are very friendly. In the evening, the lesser owl whistles from the huge pine tree, which enhances the holiday feeling even more. Thank you!

19/07/2026: Historically and in terms of its size, it has the potential for so much more. The museum exhibits seven paintings and one stone. That's it. An online guide is only available in Italian. They could have done so much more with this place. What a shame.

26/07/2026: The only redeeming feature is the view, the sunset over the sea. The location is very basic and neglected inside. For four mini bruschettas (dry bread, canned tuna) and two 33cl beers, it costs a whopping €24... Which, for goodness' sake, is fine for the view, but not for the rest...

27/04/2026: On a short vacation on Elba Island, I'd been wanting to try the cuisine at Teatro Bistrot for a long time, and I must say it was worth the wait. I started with excellent fried anchovies, followed by spaghetti with mullet bottarga and lemon, which I highly recommend. The tagliolini del teatro, a house recipe, were also delicious. Followed by a magnificent amberjack, the catch of the day. The wine selection is excellent, ranging from the island's local wines to an incredible blanc de noirs recommended by the owner. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, from the characteristic indoor setting to a beautiful outdoor terrace with an enchanting view. The staff is friendly and attentive, helping you experience the island's atmosphere, captivating you with its beauty. A visit to Teatro Bistrot is not to be missed under any circumstances; I hope to return in September! I thank the owners, Fiona and Antonio, for their wonderful welcome.

07/06/2026: A historic Elban restaurant, an institution for both locals and visitors. Ample parking, spacious interiors, and a large outdoor garden perfect for spending the evening. Food options to suit everyone: restaurant, pizzeria, and grill. One of the best value options on Elba. If you're in the area, Rifrullo is a must-see.
