27/08/2024: É la seconda volta che veniamo in vacanza all’Elba e abbiamo scelto questo ristorante entrambe le volte! Ottimo posto dove mangiare carne, io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo preso (oltre alla carne) anche i crostini (uno salsiccia e stracchino, due fegatini, uno vegetariano) e sono anch’essi molto buoni. Gentile e preparata la signora che prende le ordinazioni! Consigliato

29/08/2024: Excellent tavern along the picturesque port street in Portoferraio. Spaghetti with octopus really good and full of flavour. The portions are generous and at the right price. The service was fast and courteous. Advised.

20/08/2024: My partner and I had dinner in this place and having seen the reviews previously, I confirm that it is exactly like this… I took a stuffed squid which was out of this world because of how good it was, exceptional welcome. We will be back, I recommend it to everyone!!!

17/08/2024: So let me start by saying that the staff is absolutely very kind. Having said this...we decided (given the continuous passage) to stop... I err... The exterior attracts the staff as already mentioned friendly but the quality of the food was more than disappointing and the costs sky high. Absolutely not to return unfortunately

26/08/2024: Pizza for two with 4 choices, the offer is not clear since there are supplements to add. Good pizza, generous on two of the four portions… Recommended all the same, taking one pizza per person instead. Quality products.

08/08/2024: I had a lovely evening for my daughter's birthday. The owner, Maurizio, is a kind person and passionate about his work. It's sad to see comments from other "customers" who, probably, grayed by their lives, have lost the spontaneity to understand their jokes and their absolutely frank, but always respectful and kind way of doing things. I had a very good dinner. All the dishes were excellent and the ingredients were of high quality. The staff is always kind and smiling. The place is magnificent, the beach is unique. Once out of there, there was a starry sky that was nothing short of heartbreaking. What are people complaining about? In my opinion they are gnats with sad lives, they arrive on Elba, stressed, exhausted. they see people who have transformed their passion into a job, being in contact with nature every day... that's why they write such nonsense. Well done everyone! And thanks again for the lovely evening!!!

08/08/2024: So let me start by saying that the food is good, the service is excellent, the guys in the room are very attentive, and that the location is beautiful. Having said that, as far as I'm concerned I only found 3 "let's say" negative things. 1) I ordered spaghetti with clams, but those on the plate were not clams but lupins, the only difference is the price, paying 18 euros for a plate of spaghetti with lupins is an exaggeration. Still, a very good dish. 2) I ordered the octopus salad, this dish was also very good, but inside there were about ten pieces of octopus, the rest was just olives, celery, etc. etc. 3) the toilets. An unspeakable thing and it is no small thing. Truly unusable and smelly bathrooms. Having said that, I thank the friendly, kind and very helpful owner who didn't make me pay the child's cover charge and offered me the 2 coffees. I will return (but the toilets need to be redone)

08/08/2024: Il rifrullo è un ristorante pizzeria poco impegnativo, per una cena fuori a prezzi medi e una ampia scelta nel menu che mette d’accordo tutti. Il problema è che forse il menù è così ampio e le aspettative così alte che poi all’atto pratico si rimane delusi. Nulla di cattivo o immangiabile, ma c’è di meglio sull’isola. Oltretutto, abbiamo chiesto l Fiorentina che quella sera non era disponibile (niente di male, ma andrebbe segnalato da subito e non ad ordine già avvenuto). Consiglierei di restringere il menù e focalizzarci di più sulla qualità.

06/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per caso e ne siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti, tanto che siamo dovuti tornare una seconda volta. Camerieri simpatici e alla mano, così pure il proprietario. Cibo freschissimo e dal gusto veramente ottimo. Se ricapiteremo all'Elba ci torneremo più che volentieri! Grazie Andrea :)

06/08/2024: Phantastisches Essen mit tollem freundlichen Service. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr stimmig. Die Orechiette sind ein Genuss.

24/07/2024: A fantastic building at the very top, there is a bar and a museum, the entrance fee is 6 euros and there are beautiful views of the entire city.

16/07/2024: Beautifull place... Great walk, amazing views... Cheap tickets, nice coffe bar at the end... Must see on Elba

26/08/2024: Found by chance. Small environment, but equipped with everything! Excellent breakfast and super bread and stuffed flatbread. The very kind lady!

24/08/2024: Pane e olio è un localino veramente caratteristico, che offre un servizio completo per i suoi clienti, dalle colazioni,alle pause pranzo anche da asporto ,un piccolo market,vendita di pane fresco,schiacce e souvenir Le titolari, Alessandra e Francesca, sono gentili e molto disponibili,i prodotti sono di qualità, e vengono rigorosamente preparati nella loro cucina. Il caffè tra i migliori dell'Elba. La posizione è ottima, ci si arriva tranquillamente con la macchina e di fronte si trova un ampio parcheggio. A differenza di tanti locali dell'Elba, è un locale curato e pulito. Assolutamente consigliato per chi passa da Portoferraio

27/08/2024: We returned to the Hermitage after three years and the experience was equally unforgettable. This place offers a wonderful sea and unparalleled tranquility. The attention to detail is impeccable and the cleanliness is always impeccable. The quality of the food is simply exceptional. Here time seems to stop, allowing you to think about nothing and enjoy the moment. Everything is perfectly organized and carefully arranged. The mid-August evening is always special, with an extraordinary buffet, among the best ever tried, based on very fresh fish, both cooked and raw. Abundant grilled meat options, delicious desserts and an evening animated by exceptional guests who know how to involve everyone and crazy fireworks lasting over 10 minutes, directly from the beach. This place is truly a paradise in Italy.

24/08/2024: From a natural point of view, excellent location...very kind and attentive staff. Many services also available free of charge... rooms in my opinion need to be reviewed in detail and below the 5 star standard. In any case very nice. Nice and relaxing stay
