20/08/2025: WELCOME to ELBA 😊 What I like about Elba is the fact that it doesn't want to resemble something else and wants to remain just... Elba. This thing, in a world increasingly flattened by globalization, is increasingly important to me every year, which is why, when we get off the ferry with the motorbike, the first stop is here, for the first island snack, a moment that gives us the feeling of having arrived "home", in a land that is still human and real 😁 Here we always tasted the special of the day and whether it was a hot soup or a lasagna or a special schiacciata, we were always satisfied with the quality and tradition in the preparations, even the simplest ones. And after a chat with the owners over a good coffee and an apple and cinnamon dessert... here we are ready to leave for our new Elba holiday 😁 Alessandra and Francesca, stay like this forever and, if you can, I beg you, open on Sunday mornings too 😁🙏

24/05/2025: Really nice place with fair prices and nice people. Great for snacks but also with some tables if you want to sit and eat something from the buffet. They also sell pretty good bakery products.

04/06/2025: Fantástico restaurante con una gran vista sobre la costa. Alessio y su hija son muy acogedores y súper amables. y la comida es fabulosa. Original, fresco y bien preparado. Entrada, pasta y carne. Precios muy correctos. Gran tarjeta de vino

19/05/2025: Ambiente raffinato pur senza fronzoli. Ottima cucina con piatti curati e prodotti provenienti dalla loro azienda agricola. Servizio attento e discreto. Ottima carta dei vini serviti anche al bicchiere per cambiare secondo il piatto. Dalla vetrata o dal portico si gode di un panorama molto bello ma alla sera, al tramonto sul mare è stupendo. Al momento del conto(forse perché avevamo comprato dell'olio) ci hanno regalato un profumatore alla lavanda, una gradita gentilezza in più.

02/09/2025: Small cozy lovely restaurant. It has a great view of the beach, and the staff are great. The menu is a little short, but each dish is amazing. My recomendation is the pasta with mixed seafood.

At the Hotel Ristorante Casanova, we found an exceptional family, owners with extraordinary hospitality and friendliness, cleanliness, excellent cuisine, and laughter always come first. They are available to any of their guests. I return and we go home enriched, certainly for the places we saw, but even more for having found such a special family. Infinite thanks to Ugo and family ❤️

17/07/2025: Cena ottima, in ambiente informale ma curato. Consiglio in particolare gli straccetti di totano su base di ceci e i ravioli ripieni di burrata con gamberi. Servizio simpatico, informale, con tempi corretti per gustare tutto senza fretta. Ci si sente a proprio agio, in una terrazza circondata dal verde. Buoni e originali I dessert Torneremo

02/06/2025: Terribile. Personale maleducatissimo. Ordini sbagliati, attese lunghe camerieri che non sanno cosa c è nel menù. La responsabile signora con i capelli neri maleducata tronfia che viene ad urlare in faccia ai clienti. poi per finire dicendo “ ma io non so nemmeno cosa è successo” . Da non tornare e non veniteci. Ci sono tremila pizzerie migliori a due passi. Potessi darei 0

Very friendly staff, well-maintained location, various vegan and vegetarian options, and the option to create a meal with various prepared products. Gluten-free options are also available for desserts. In short, I found it by chance and was very satisfied.

20/08/2025: The food and wine were excellent. The wait staff and chefs deserve applause for their ability to navigate a very challenging evening due to the rain storm that hit the island.

The homemade desserts also live up to expectations, and there's a decent selection of excellent craft beers. Service is fast, even when the place is full. Overall, I highly recommend this place; go and enjoy!
