17/10/2025: The terrace is very pretty and quiet, the aperitif was good, however we ordered the beef tagliata and it really had a pheasant smell, never tasted meat like that, the dish was left aside and the staff informed. No feedback was given to me and barely €12 discount on the bill.

The service, in my opinion, was fast and precise, and I truly enjoyed the Maremma tortelli cacio e pepe and the Maremma peposo with fagioli all'uccelletta. The prices are beyond excellent, especially considering the quality of the wines offered and the care with which they are selected. It's rare to find a place where affordability and quality go so well together. The food is simply fantastic: carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and perfect pairings with the recommended wines. Each course is a small experience that perfectly complements the tasting. 02/11/2025: A lovely trattoria to eat at. The food was really good: delicious pappardelle, fantastic wild boar ragout, delicious crostini, mind-blowing pappa al pomodoro, very good appetizers. The beans tasted like they came from a can (a shame) but were delicious. The chicory was flavorful, and the Vin Santo was extremely alcoholic. I don't know, it just didn't convince me. I wasn't crazy about the cantucci either, but that's a matter of personal preference. The coffee, bread, water, and excellent olive oil were delicious. I found the bread refill during service really pleasant.

17/09/2025: I don't know why I visited this store twice. There's a wonderful supermarket 20 minutes away, in the town of Manciano. It didn't add to my positive impressions. Prices were extremely high for everything. Fruits and vegetables were of poor quality, and overpriced. I didn't notice any friendliness, as others have written. The owner repeatedly pointed us to another shop. It felt like his shop wasn't for us. Furthermore, the sliced ​​pork was a mess, and we had to throw it out. I won't post a photo; I had no desire to photograph this abomination. I gave it two stars only out of my love for this region—Tuscany. But places like this ruin the experience.

09/09/2025: I came from Reggio Emilia to try his porchetta sandwich. Paolo, the musician, was very kind and recommended excellent cheeses. The deli is well stocked with every local specialty, and I can confirm the deliciousness of his sandwiches. A must-see if you're passing through Saturnia. Thanks Alice and Nicola.

07/12/2025: This time it went badly. It's a shame, because we were at the same place in September 2024 and were shocked that in a place that looked very "tourist-friendly," we'd actually eaten well. Today, it was very different. We ordered two appetizers: crostini, three tagliata (sliced ​​steaks), and a pappardelle with wild boar. The crostini were cold slices of bread topped with a questionable pâté, passable tomatoes, and an inedible agliata. The pappardelle were cold, as was the tagliata, served on a salad taken from the bag with oversized tomato slices. Everything was presented without the slightest care; it felt like it was hastily prepared, put on paper plates and brought to the table. It's a shame, because for this price, you'd expect much more.

01/11/2025: We decided to grab something quick and unfussy after a dip at the Terme di Saturnia. What was supposed to be a quick and simple snack turned into an interminable wait (over an hour), with customers arriving long after us and being served before us. After an exaggerated wait, I go to ask if everything's okay and how long until our order will be ready (two burgers, a charcuterie board, and a mixed fried fish), to which they tell me that "burgers take time." Guys, I work in the industry too, and there's no way two burgers could take more than an hour. Tell me you're wrong, that there was a problem, anything, but not that. We decide to give them a little more time (in the meantime, they could have at least brought us the board), and after another 20 minutes and with my patience at the limit, I see a waiter bringing several dishes to a table that had arrived at least 40 minutes after us. I couldn't resist, so I went inside, politely paid for the drinks we'd consumed while waiting (which I supposedly wanted to consume with the food), and left after an hour and a half of wasting away. The excuse I believe the owner gave was that "they all arrived at once." No excuses or anything else, just that. And when we arrived (and ordered), there were roughly two tables for two. In the end, since it was too late, we didn't find any restaurants open, and we reluctantly had to skip lunch despite how hungry we were. A terrible place to avoid. The only positive note was the waiter with glasses, whose name I don't know, but who really tried his best to make the wait as pleasant as possible and to accommodate us. I send him my thanks.
