09/03/2026: Good pizza, but adding €20 to two Capricciosa pizzas for adding some asparagus (about 10 pieces) seems excessive to me. That is, ONLY the two Capricciosa pizzas are €37...be careful when you go to check...free parking. To be precise, we ordered: one appetizer of crostini only, two Capricciosa pizzas with one additional ingredient (asparagus), one water, one small Coke, and one coffee. Total €60.50...to align with other pizzerias in the area, as they aren't gourmet pizzas...

02/11/2025: A casual yet elegant restaurant with very friendly staff, but the highlight is definitely the food. Excellent grilled fish (not breaded): varied and flavorful. The octopus is incredibly tender and the mussels are delicious. The homemade desserts are truly delicious. Excellent value. Bravo!

12/03/2026: We sit down at 12:30. We order and they immediately bring us the appetizer to share, and then for the next 40 minutes, no one else is seen. We hear some rather silly comments from the waitress (should we bring all the first courses at once...???) and even the waiter, when we ask for our first courses, replies that it's best not to comment. Finally, the first courses arrive: spaghetti with clams, which I'd say are just adequate. First of all, they're not clams, and that should be stated and specified. Do you know how much lupini beans cost compared to clams? Lupini beans on one side and spaghetti on the other. Pasta with anchovies and capers: a bit mushy but acceptable, even if nothing more than what you can easily make at home. I'd say the fried food was good, not abundant but good. The only positive note is that when it came time to pay, the owner apologized for the delay. I'm sorry, but I didn't find what I was hoping for 🤷‍♂️

10/03/2026: The restaurant is also within walking distance as it is located in the center behind the covered market. This restaurant has always had excellent reviews. I remember back in the day that they already had takeout, and my parents would give me the pot to buy cacciucco! There has always been a family atmosphere and a relationship of mutual affection! The food is excellent and the price is right, especially for the fish-based dishes. The octopus is always tender and tasty, the fried food is not greasy and crunchy, and the pasta is tasty and cooked al dente! There are two dining rooms and outdoor seating, especially in nice weather! We always organize birthday parties for 15 people!

23/09/2025: [RECOMMENDATION] Unfortunately, I can't recommend this "breakfast place." A ⭐ rating is harsh, I admit, but it "corrects" the "4.8" ⭐ rating, which doesn't quite fit my opinion. [TOAST 🍞 THEATHER 😞] My avocado salmon toast with an egg was completely dry. The egg was completely overcooked. When I asked if I could have a little sauce like mayonnaise, they unfortunately couldn't offer it. They wanted to make me a new egg, which would be runny, so the bread wouldn't be dry and would be edible. They placed the new plate in front of me and immediately disappeared. Yes, the egg was now runny, so runny that the egg white was still transparent. I then returned the food and left my feedback. Unfortunately, they didn't want to address well-intentioned criticism. Which I find very unfortunate. Well-intentioned criticism is like a gold nugget that still needs to be polished to make it truly shine. Instead of acknowledging it, they respond with comments like, "I'm the first guest to complain about this, and I wanted it runny." I don't know how many people eat the egg whites while they're still transparent, and yes, I know you can eat raw eggs. Nevertheless, I find this behavior a bit unfortunate, and it doesn't really help if I don't have to pay for the plate. [PANCAKES 🥞] The pancakes were good, nothing to complain about. But in my opinion, that doesn't correspond to a 4.8 rating. [COFFEE ☕] The cappuccino was good. The cappuccino with caramel and the label "Sugar Free" was so extremely sweet that it was undrinkable. [CONCLUSION ⭐🏁] In my opinion, the Google rating isn't deserved here. I felt more like I was on an Italian highway or Italian street. Here, I missed the love of food that you find on almost every street corner in Italy, except, of course, for the odious "breakfast."

23/09/2025: I'm writing this review in response to a review I felt was unfair a few hours ago. I was present at Bar Spinetti when a German customer complained about an egg and how it was cooked, which he claimed was poorly cooked. I won't go into the merits of the dish, but I'd like to point out that the customer presented himself at the counter in a rather rude and unpleasant manner. Despite this, the bar staff reacted with extreme kindness and politeness, apologizing and offering to remake the dish without any problem. The customer refused, and they, with great fairness, waived the charge. For this reason, the single star awarded doesn't do it justice; in fact, it's truly unfair. Their behavior deserves at least 10 stars, both for the incident in question and for the attention and courtesy they always show their customers.

06/03/2026: A rustic and fairly large restaurant located outside the center of Follonica. It offers a menu of meat and seafood. The service is friendly, the food is good, and the bill is fair. A pleasant place for a lunch break.

04/02/2026: Decent food... But for everything else, let's forget it.... Booked for 5 people on Sunday for lunch, we arrived and they had lost the reservation.... After a little wait they gave us the table, too bad it was for 4 and they made us sit... We got the chair from a table that had an extra one, the waiter comes with the chair 5 minutes after we had already sat down. They bring the menus when taking the order, we point out that a place setting is missing..... (Usually in these cases the table is set and then the customers are seated)... When taking the order, the waiter leans on the table (in his partial defense I can say that the place was full.. but in these cases you position yourself in the center of the table to understand and be understood better, not in a corner), the appetizers arrive to be shared before the main courses... And other minor things that I didn't like.....

15/11/2025: On a small street not far from the sea, this restaurant offers an excellent seafood menu with a wide selection of wines, including bottles to go. We went for lunch, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service was prompt and accurate. We loved the dishes we chose, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: From what we'd heard, it seemed like the pinnacle of seafood, but it was a disappointment; not so much for the quality of the fish, which was excellent, but for the location, the service, and the dishes, which left much to be desired. The place was small and decorated like a banal pizzeria in a local club, the service bordered on polite (smiling and asking if everything was okay would be recommended), the food, good for the quality of the ingredients, but cooked inappropriately for the price. The gnocchi were soaked in oil, the paranza wasn't really a real one, but rather a banal fried fish dish (the regulations limit fish to a maximum of 12 cm in size), the potatoes called chips on the menu were cut very thick and raw. Not to mention the prices, which, for an osteria, were truly exorbitant. Finally, if I had read earlier how rudely the owner responds to negative reviews, I wouldn't have set foot there.

20/02/2026: We ordered 10 pizzas for a total of almost €100. The sausage and fries pizza costs an additional €2. The sausage pizza also has a surcharge for the sausage. The gluten-free pizzas (with frozen dough, not made by them!!) have a €4.50 surcharge per pizza. My boyfriend and I had dinner earlier, ordering two pizzas, drinks, dessert, and a cover charge. We spent €44; takeout with three pizzas cost €38. Aside from the ridiculous price you don't pay by going in, the pizza isn't the best, quite the opposite.
