14/08/2024: On holiday in Castiglione della Pescaia we tried this restaurant....the food isn't that great...the tagliolini with seafood without flavour, served without removing the starter plates.....unattentive service. I don't recommend it... there are restaurants that offer better food.

30/08/2024: Prices not related to the offer! Disappointment! Bar fridge contained 3 small cartons of water! An adequate bathroom kit was missing. No conditioner and shampoo with shower gel in the usual bottle, therefore "saving". The request for a hair diffuser was not fulfilled. It was difficult to even get La Gazzetta in the morning It didn't arrive before 10am. Inadequate staff especially at reception and in the dining room. A thousand small shortcomings which unfortunately denote a substantial inconsistency in the "quality/price" ratio! Tablecloths for breakfast non-existent! Request for adequately long bed for tall son was not satisfied. Nice room, swimming pool too but the gazebos old and full of cobwebs. Shuttle service ok and beach valid

03/08/2024: We had stayed in this hotel for two weeks in July last year, and we were so satisfied that we wanted to repeat the experience again this year, again for two weeks, despite the sharp increase in prices which were already high. It's a shame that a lot of things have changed this year. Starting with the management which has proven not to be up to par with a 4* hotel in Punta Ala, DEFINITELY NOT FOR CUSTOMERS GIVEN WHAT THEY PAY. 0Breakfast with limited variety and discount products, to have a vegan brioche (which can now also be found in motorway restaurants) we had to have our Tour Operator intervene, only three cakes always the same, fruit only melon and pineapple and some mornings only pineapple, to make a cappuccino the staff argued among themselves for half an hour, there was often no hot water for tea, table without even a piece of paper on it, room for breakfast, lunch and dinner OUTSIDE ONLY BY THE POOL in the sun and in the heat of 40° Every evening with steaming barbecues that smoked the air and depending on how the wind blew you would come to your room or to the pool or while you were sitting there eating. Complete absence of air conditioning in the common areas, given that the rooms that last year were elegantly set up for breakfast and dinner have this year become playrooms for children. No relaxation area or TV as the lounge has been emptied of sofas. No air-conditioned bar area to stay in the evening for a drink, except by the pool with the mosquitoes making fun of you. Deluxe Room: change of sheets every other day, no extra pillows of different weights, no evening turndown, no bathrobes, often mismatched towels, no tap and limescale maintenance, faulty safety lock, good cleaning, but let's remember that we are talking about a Deluxe in a 4*! Beach towels to be collected at reception in exchange for stamps. In a 4* hotel, given what I pay, you have to let me find the towels in the room or on the beach. Michel at the reception, and the maitre Mr. Antonio are always kind, friendly, but without losing the PROFESSIONALISM that is often missing in everything else. Excellent beach and shuttle. Elena and Giovanni are always friendly. Things must be said for better or for worse, because the customer DOES NOT COME FOR FREE and especially when he was only there the year before he expects you to find what he left behind, and above all what he sees in the videos and hotel brochures .

22/08/2024: My husband and I came for dinner, we didn't have a reservation and wanted a front row table. They told us it was booked but no one showed up. We were then given a table in the middle of the room. The lobster pasta was of low quality: there was half a lobster of dubious origin, two prawns and some claws of something else. I finished it by force. My husband ordered a pesto pasta (which was on the menu as pesto with calamari) and paid the same amount he would have paid if he had had calamari. The manager always seemed nervous and in a hurry with little care for the customers and also seemed nervous with the guys working with him. I wouldn't go back

07/08/2024: Hotel (which in reality is as if it were a guest house) now for sale and in a state of decay, but which nevertheless charges dearly. In our room, tiny and poorly laid out, the shower and fridge didn't work, there was no light, the bed creaked constantly. The staff is unavailable and unprepared. The cleaning lady came into the room while we were inside, then to make matters worse she knocked on the door to ask us what time we would be leaving so she could clean. The parking is far from the structure, on a rough and somewhat dangerous dirt road. The neighbors in the room made a terrible noise undisturbed. We had booked for 4 nights but left after 1 night.

30/08/2024: Reading the positive reviews we were encouraged to try this restaurant Perch and courgette flowers appetizer Good, nothing to say Spaghetti with clams, pure salt, boiled Spaghetti with clams thrown on top Two seconds, a mixed fry arrives After 20 minutes the fried potatoes that went with the fried food arrive I pointed this out to the waitress and she replied that she took the potatoes to another table and ate them, in response she told me if she would eat them later so when yours arrive. Grilled squid (second arrived after half an hour from the first second) They ask if we want dessert Let's say yes, the owner who gives us the list goes into the kitchen with the dishes and doesn't even listen to you Whereupon we got up and left New customers aren't really counted We pay like everyone else To be avoided There's better Nothing to say about the bill Just over 100 euros But honestly never again The service leaves the times it finds

29/09/2023: Nella nostra settimana a Castiglione della Pescaia abbiamo cenato 2 volte in questo ristorante Personale molto gentile. Abbiamo mangiato l' antipasto di pesce sia crudo che cotto, molto buono e la spigola con le patate , deliziosa. Cucina molto curata.

04/09/2024: The food came quickly. I had a very interesting pizza variation with pear truffle honey parmesan and walnuts. In principle it's tasty, but after 2-3 pieces you'll have enough. More suitable as a dessert. My friend had a seafood pizza and thought it tasted good. The service is nice, but anything but on point. The drinks were all empty, the pizza was still half there, but no one took a new drink order. Conclusion: it fits, it was okay. However, there are better places.

03/09/2024: We found the food very tasty (great pizza and fresh, tasty seafood) and the service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The prices are on the menu at the entrance, so I don't understand what other reviewers are complaining about—yes, it's not cheap, but it's a tourist spot and everyone who comes here knows that. We liked it so much that we came back with the whole family a few days later, and again everyone was very happy.

12/09/2023: Either you arrive before opening or you risk biblical times just to get to the checkout, then there are the service people but we are at a festival and you can't have too many expectations. Of course, at a festival I wouldn't expect to have to pay a cover charge for paper placemats and organic plates, instead I would have appreciated slightly larger portions given the restaurant prices.

11/09/2023: Un vero spreco. In un paesino in collina sopra a Castiglione dove il fresco e la tranquillità sono di casa , dovrebbero stracciare la licenza a chi gestisce un ristorante in questo modo. Per essere buono dirò che l’unica qualità concessa sono le porzioni abbondanti che probabilmente accontentano tutti coloro che scrivono valutazioni positive. Non me lo spiego altrimenti. Siamo lontani da un ristorazione accettabile ma molto vicini al baratro della mensa aziendale. Del prezzo è inutile parlare, sempre troppo per l’offerta che si riceve.

05/08/2024: You absolutely deserve the 5 stars! At first I was a little hesitant due to some negative reviews, but I decided to follow my instincts and trust. I didn't regret it at all! The frying is excellent, you can clearly perceive that the oil used is fresh and clean. The sushi is very fresh and the setting is truly splendid. I highly recommend you try this place, you won't regret it!

27/07/2024: Quite nice external place with nice terrace but internal part first of typical Japanese features usually present in these types of restaurants!! Basic menu with the right choice without exceeding!! However, the price per person for the service/quality of the weekend is high

29/08/2024: Accolto e coccolato con gentilezza dalla famiglia che gestisce il locale, in cui sono venuto su consiglio del gestore di un altro locale (ospite abituale del ristorante). Ci vuole molta tecnica per elaborare il pesce e lasciare che se ne senta il sapore naturale, senza il retrogusto "fradicio". Si è proseguito con un ottimo tortello di Ricciola.. con prosciutto di Ricciola (un prosciutto di mare). Scoperta gustosa e memorabile. Quindi, antipasto generoso di pesce, tortello superlativo, bottiglia di vino gentilmente consigliato dalla simpatica sommelier, 100 euro più nocino fatto in casa e biscotti in omaggio. Nelle tasche degli altri non si fanno i conti, per cui non voglio dire se siano tanti o pochi, ma per l'esperienza provata, io non ho rimorsi. Consigliato.
