20/08/2025: I was there for Ferragosto, so there was a set menu consisting of an appetizer, truffle lasagna, tagliatelle with roast goose sauce, mixed lamb and duck with roast potatoes, sliced salad, peach tart in syrup, watermelon, liqueurs, and coffee. The food was excellent and plentiful, all for a moderate price of €40, in my opinion. Everything was very good, especially the lasagna, which was spectacular.
11/08/2025: Beautiful spot tucked away in the mountains. The wood-fired oven gives the pizza that truly delicious flavor. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English.

15/08/2025: After booking a mid-August lunch and calling three times to confirm and find out the exact time, we showed up at 12 noon and realized a table hadn't been reserved. Instead of apologizing, the owner went to the kitchen to complain to us, loudly claiming it was our fault. This was deplorable behavior for a restaurant owner, especially given the date and the obvious impossibility of us booking elsewhere.

Tasty and well-presented dishes.
08/06/2025: Two stars because the place is nice and the service is kind and efficient.... The food to forget: I start with a burrata and anchovy crostini, a thin slice of bread arrives with a layer of the cream inside a burrata spread on top, and anchovies on top, but there was no burrata. Then I try a stuffed pasta, with nettle, topped with gorgonzola and walnuts. I think, it's hard to go wrong here, but instead it's a disaster, the pasta is rubbery and tasteless and what's worse, the theoretical gorgonzola and walnut sauce, transformed into a water with bits of gorgonzola here and there... Probably heated in the microwave, which caused the gorgonzola to split. We get to the dessert, they offer me the Pavlova and I say, how beautiful it is not a common dessert to find in a restaurant, a blob arrives, the meringue mixed with a little cream and on top a spoonful of cooked strawberries or in jam, it was not clear. The Pavlova wants fresh strawberries and we are also in full season ..

The atmosphere is welcoming, the service friendly and attentive.
A place where you eat well and feel at ease.
05/08/2025: A pleasant surprise. Typical food, friendly service. We found the restaurant on a detour, and we were so glad we did. A gem along the way, with fair prices.

09/07/2025: It's so nice to eat here. The food is more than delicious, the service is so fast and the environment in Anghiari is so beautiful! Definitely recommended!
03/07/2025: We ate some very good pizzas at the Baldaccio bar, but what impressed us even more was the friendliness of the entire team, the warm welcome, and the helpfulness of everyone, especially the young woman with the permanent smile (see photo).
The prices are more than reasonable.

Ieri sera passeggiando per il paese ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante, siamo stati accolti con grande simpatia. Ci siamo trovati in un ambiente molto piacevole, arredando con buon gusto (se potete prenotate il tavolo sul terrazzino, molto romantico).
In attesa delle nostre scelte, hanno servito una pappa al pomodoro molto delicata e buona.
Tagliere di formaggi per aprire le danze, accompagnati da miele, marmellata di fichi e olive, a seguire le tagliatelle al ragù bianco di chianina erano buonissime, io ho preso il filetto alla griglia al tartufo, eccezionale davvero, la carne si scioglieva in bocca.
Per finire torcolo con il vin santo.

07/08/2025: We had a fantastic evening at Da Alighiero. I don't know when I was last treated with such warmth and ease.
There were seven of us (and two dogs, who were also very well looked after), and we were able to "cover" a wide selection of the menu. To sum it up: Everything was delicious, great products, and some dishes were a little off the beaten track. From the bean soup to the amazing homemade orecchiette, bisteca, pork fillet, and the final desserts. There was something for everyone, and even our children, who usually respond with "it's okay" when asked if something tastes good, were full of praise. Simply wonderful, well-crafted, creative dishes with no frills. The recommended wines (there's something for everyone there, too; there's no wine list, but the bottles are displayed in cabinets for you to view and choose from – a very nice idea) were such a good match that we were happy to buy a few more bottles. When do you ever get the chance to buy aged wines at a fair price?!
We had a relaxed and enjoyable evening in a very pleasant atmosphere and would recommend everyone to see for themselves. The restaurant is definitely a highlight in our opinion.

23/08/2025: I was there 3 days ago. I ate half a slice of watermelon, it was delicious, half was already big, the whole one was exaggerated, it's not expensive at all, nice outdoor place, too bad the wind came up because of the arrival of a storm, we escaped in the car!!!
