07/04/2024: The food is truly impeccable and of excellent quality, a shame about the service where the waiters were insistent and unprofessional at the end of the shift. We were not told of the imminent closing time of the kitchen upon our arrival and all the dishes were hastily brought out together, furthermore the waiter's insistence on making us order was not very welcome. It was unprofessional to see waiters at the end of their shift changing to go dancing and cleaning the tables with chemical products while customers were finishing their dinner.

The restaurant is good, but when we were there they had some problem in the kitchen and the food took a long time to come out and also one dish came out completely wrong. They kindly acknowledged the mistake and brought out the plate again. Good value for money. The panini place deserves a separate mention. They are, by far, the best paninis we have tried in all of Tuscany. They were so delicious that we repeated the next day. Also in this location there is no queue like in the competitor's location on the same street. Don't forget to try them if you visit Florence!

07/04/2024: The restaurant looks great and is very nicely decorated. The waiters were very nice and polite. However, I found the quality of the service to be below average. Although we ordered a relatively expensive Brunello wine, it wasn’t decanted, and none of the waiters refilled our glasses. Our table didn’t have salt, pepper, and olive oil and we were looking for the waiter for at least 5 mins to ask for it. Our plates were taken away while we were still finishing our appetizers, and the next course arrived 10 minutes later. I wouldn’t have written this review if the steak we ordered had been good. The meat was not tender and was quite chewy. I wouldn’t revisit.

She said YES, of course, and then had the audacity to charge an extra 7 euros for bread and service. I tried to ask her something after we had ordered, but then I was no longer of interest because we weren't "big spenders. "When I inquired about the extra 7 euros, she became angry and said that's how it's done everywhere, pointing at the tablecloth and napkin, emphasizing the word "service." I tried to politely explain to her that I want to be able to choose how much I want to tip, and that 33% of the bill is way too much. It should have cost 20 euros but ended up being 27. I understand it might be reasonable for a larger group who ordered more, but for two people and a small lunch... no way. Everyone can have bad days at work, but only people with a service mindset should work in service professions.I do not recommend this place, and don't be fooled by the nice view.
