breakfast at sarni.....pastries and latte macchiato as always wonderful.....fix the connection because at the checkout they didn't calculate the discount for me, dismissing me with a "we can't do anything about it"....

There is a rest stop that sells a lot of candies and snacks. It is very convenient to buy souvenirs here. I bought discounted chocolates at a super cheap price, as well as classic potato chips. I also bought several boxes of biscuits as Italian specialties. It is a highly recommended place.

I don't think I've ever reviewed a service station, for me they're all the same, I've never found anything to say, but after the umpteenth time I stop I have to say it: it's really Ugly, poor thing!
Okay, there's parking, the bathrooms are very modern and well kept, the bar counter is small, you eat well too, and that would be fine. However, the structure is horrible and poorly organized, it looks like a shopping center with a central aisle and businesses on the sides, but then why is there like a second one!? You can't even figure out where the exit path is despite the signs.
I suggest using "you're as ugly as the Arno Est" as an insult.

We were there on a Sunday morning just before 10:00 a.m. Practically deserted, parking spaces with shade roofs, clean toilets (for a change, with toilet seats), the staff at the illy café were super friendly and helpful, and the baked goods were excellent—and as is usually the case in Italy, our dog was welcome too—TOP!

Excellent ethnic cuisine, fantastic outdoor play area. Ideal for aperitifs and afterhours. The Greek street food kiosk is the icing on the cake.

In this service area there are both Autogrill and Sarni. Personally I recommend the second one both for the prices, lower without loss of quality, and for the courtesy of the staff. Clean bathrooms and plenty of space to sit
