15/08/2024: Every year a visit to the Prünster is a MUST for us! Every meal tastes fantastic, everything is homemade. The tomatoes from our own garden, fantastic in taste. The service is super friendly, every allergy/intolerance, no matter how rare, is taken into account and an alternative is always found. You definitely have to try the home-baked cakes and tarts - each one is a dream! It's worth the trip up here several times a week... we'll definitely come back.

10/08/2024: Here we cook with a lot of heart and it shows! I've been testing my way through cheese dumplings for years and these were by far the best. But if the mixed salad is sensationally delicious in its simplicity, that's not surprising :-) The friendly hosts and the great view round off the visit!

19/08/2024: Very rude owner!!! I order a sausage with potatoes and a Coke Zero, my partner orders eggs with speck and a beer. As soon as he brings the drinks he hands them over exclaiming "here's a zero coke for the SPOILED CHILD, and something right for the gentleman". Now, I don't know how the gentleman is used to interacting in his job, but I highly recommend more education! I am celiac and I suffer from interstitial cystitis (which I certainly shouldn't tell everyone about) so I CANNOT drink ALCOHOL due to my illness, given that alcohol causes burning pain in my bladder, CERTAINLY NOT BECAUSE I AM SPOILED. Regardless, I don't think we should address customers in this way. Maybe he'll think about it next time before making jokes about people he doesn't know and their illnesses!

25/08/2024: We ate there one evening on site and got takeaway another evening. The polenta with wild mushrooms is delicious. The shin is also very good. Very kind and friendly staff. Cozy place. And I add that it is one of the few restaurants that still offers typical dishes from Val Gardena. We will definitely be back. Advised

07/08/2024: Fixed stop when going to the Pietralba Sanctuary. Excellent welcome even if run by South Tyrolean people! Friendly and not cold. Beautiful and good dishes. Not excessively expensive. Excellent value for money. For those who cannot or do not want to go hiking, it is the best place in the immediate vicinity of the Sanctuary.

02/08/2024: Everything is just right at this inn/hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The breakfast and especially the dinner are incredibly tasty and the portions are also large. The whole thing is then framed by the very nice host Petra Weber with her natural friendliness.

27/07/2024: The dishes at this restaurant are fantastic, the vegetarian ones are indicated on the menu so you can recognize them immediately, the Tyrolean crescents with ricotta and spinach are delicious! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The structure is modern, with a warm atmosphere both inside and outside (however covered). It is located in a quiet area just outside the center, surrounded by greenery. Clean and well-kept bathrooms. A great place to enjoy Dobbiaco!

24/08/2024: We had lunch yesterday and had a very good meal on the cozy terrace. The service was very friendly and also helped me choose a gluten-free dish. Unfortunately, the menu only had "vegan" and "vegetarian" marked on it. That surprised me for a star restaurant, as celiac disease is a food intolerance and leads to health problems, although what they specifically marked was just a way of life/eating I can now even find gluten-free dishes marked in alpine huts. The list of allergens is right at the back of the menu, but it's of no use if these symbols (indication of ingredients) are missing for the respective dishes. Someone probably has this “important” concept not understood??????I just find it sad and unfortunate

21/03/2024: Pane di una volta, preparato con amore da una coppia gentilissima, insieme a tante altre specialità (es. barrette) fatte tutte da loro. Si respira tutta la tradizione altoatesina. Lo strudel è davvero eccezionale, senza contare le altre torte/crostate!

24/08/2024: It’s a very nice place on route from upper part of the valley to Meran. There is a picturesque path along a small artificial stream that leads almost to the restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and polite; „non-German“ service which we enjoyed a lot. There is also a beautiful view from the tables on the terrace

10/07/2024: I stopped twice, the first time I ate a cheeseburger certainly not comparable to McDonald's...excellent and a more than reasonable price which is why I came back a second time... The second time I ate DELICIOUS ribs, soft, juicy on the inside but grilled and flavored in the correct way on the outside... I highly recommend making a stop when you pass by, the manager is a friendly and nice person, for me he's a 10 in general What matters the covered item is not there!!

10/07/2024: On the manager's recommendation, we took the shank. What can I say?...very tender and perfectly cooked meat. You can choose a single side dish or a little of everything (like we did. Potatoes, green beans and sauerkraut). The owner's smile was greatly appreciated. We wanted to try the burger but we were full... the shank was really large and rich in meat pulp. What can I say?? Stop by for lunch or dinner and you won't regret it

13/07/2024: Servizio veloce e preciso. Pizze buone e piatti tipici gradevoli. L’unico neo, ha molto del ristorante turistico. Forse farei qualche modifica al dehor.

27/08/2024: Ottima offerta di cibo da strada, alcune soluzioni non sono economicissime . Per avere un piatto di patate e würstel con. ketchup senza curry , invece di partiture da würstel e patate con ketchup e curry da 8 euro togliendo il curry si parte da un piatto di würstel e patate con ketchup e pane da 10 euro togliendo il pane porta solo a 9€….🤷🏽‍♂️

17/08/2024: L’hamburger era sottile e privo di sapore, con una sottiletta che grida vendetta visto che siamo in una valle dove sanno fare molto bene altri formaggi ben più saporiti. Il piatto pippotto (würstel e patatine da mangiare dove vuoi: ci sono 2 tavoli pubblici che devi sperare di trovare liberi) costa 10€: secondo me eccessivo.

30/08/2024: Unusually high quality, which I didn't expect, given how remote it is. A delight for both the eye and the palate.

20/08/2024: One of our favorite restaurants in Bolzano. Great food, great ambience, both in winter and summer on the terrace, very friendly team. The new location 100 meters from the old hut is very successful.

10/08/2024: Excellent family-run hotel, clean and strategic location, with a 10 minute walk you are in the center (with a nice climb) Buffet breakfast and dinner with half board with the possibility of choosing between different courses... all excellent
