26/02/2026: The food was very good, but it was a shame about the way they treated us regarding the bill. Not only did they charge us more than we consumed, but they also gave us a receipt for a much lower amount than we actually paid.
24/02/2026: I visited Trinken Haus in Catanzaro Lido and had a very positive experience. The place has a welcoming Bavarian beer hall-style atmosphere, perfect for an evening with friends or as a couple.
The menu is varied, with a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, and traditional German dishes, as well as a wide selection of beers. The food is good and the portions are generous.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The only small point that could be improved is that service can be a bit slow during busy periods.
Overall, I recommend it: good value and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll gladly return!

05/01/2026: The refuge is exactly what it promises: no more, no less than many others. Nothing memorable, nothing particularly thoughtful.
It's a shame that what makes the experience truly unique is the glass of water, served with such ease alongside an espresso and a hot chocolate...for €1.60. Go to Las Vegas for a completely different experience.

16/11/2025: We went there on a recommendation during our autumn holiday and didn't enjoy it very much. We had to wait a while because it was very crowded – if you haven't made a reservation like we did, that's fine, but we didn't feel welcome and nobody paid any attention to us. Once we were seated, the service was okay. Junior was happy with his shepherd's macaroni, which was more like Bolognese pasta, but we adults found the food rather average. In short: You can eat better in Schenna.
25/10/2025: Nice, welcoming, quiet place with a view of Merano. Booking is recommended.

25/01/2026: Every year, the three of us spend our vacation at the Waldhof and let ourselves be truly pampered. We enjoy the wonderful breakfast buffet and the small but delicious lunch dishes. One of the highlights is the six-course dinner in the evening, along with expert wine advice. Other highlights include the large sauna with its invigorating infusions and the infinity pool with its stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
We highly recommend this friendly, family-run hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

01/03/2026: I stopped for a bite to eat at 2:40 PM on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy, but they found me a seat and served me promptly and very well. The Pomeranian menu (quarter chicken, grilled Merano sausage, boiled Weisswurst, with caponata and potato salad) + berry cheesecake and a dark beer. Fair prices for the portions (€2 cover charge).

04/10/2025: We had lunch at this Bavarian-style restaurant with a lovely Bier Garten. They seated us and brought us our menus right away. We opted for sausage and hamburger platters accompanied by potatoes, sauerkraut, and beer. The service was quick and friendly, and the dishes were excellent. I really enjoyed the sausages. I also had a little dessert. And when it came to the bill, they gave us a few glasses and a nice straw hat.
07/09/2025: Definitely worth returning! Today, after years, I returned to eat here, a little hesitant because I knew it had changed management a few years ago and I hadn't had a chance to go there again. Well, what can I say... Everything was delicious, generous portions, exceptional service, and a clean place. Thank you so much, I'll definitely be back.

07/09/2025: We arrived after a long hike from Passo Nigra. The scenery is breathtaking. There are also games for children and the food is excellent. The only downside is the wait. There were three of us: two adults and a little girl. Our dishes arrived, and we had time to finish ours before the three-year-old's dish arrived. Otherwise, it was a spectacle.
04/09/2025: A must-see at this mountain hut because the food is excellent.
The desserts are also delicious.
All this with a view of the splendid peaks.
You can also buy their homemade cheese.
