We booked the day before, and the only available seating was two stools at a counter at the entrance. The staff was kind and tried to accommodate us, considering there were only two of us. We accepted, but obviously eating at a table is a different experience, and you might enjoy the food differently. We ordered a shin of pork, nothing special, and a focaccia with seasonal filling. It was very filling, so I left it a little. We weren't thrilled, but the quality of the food was good. The seating probably played a part, but again, we'd been told so, so we accepted, so we were aware. However, when they opened the door, the cold would creep in because there's no window at the entrance, and there's no view from the counter. It would be better if it were open, or if there were a stool facing each other. I'll only return if there's a free table.

Excellent restaurant with simple yet impressive dishes. The cheeses were out of this world!

If you are in Ferrera Erbognone for a football match it is a safe place to have dinner

The service is a bit slow, perhaps due to the fact that it is always very busy, but this is forgiven by the quality of the food... perhaps the portions of some dishes are sometimes small, as if they wanted to increase the weight a bit to serve more people (I had 3 tartares on different evenings, and each time the quantity was different), while the bread is always plentiful and excellent.
