There's a lovely outdoor area – partly on the terrace, partly under the trees. It was quite busy, but we still managed to get a free table and someone came to us fairly quickly. The food was delicious; we had fried potatoes with a fried egg and a trio of dumplings, and tasty elderflower spritzers.

14/07/2026: We had a great experience dining here. The local food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to our waiter, who was incredibly kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Greetings from the two Poles with a baby! 😊
14/06/2026: Delicious food in a beautiful meadow. We ordered the dumplings and goulash,herb gnocchi and they were both fabulous. By far the best food in town. They offered a complimentary salad which was fresh. We also ordered the strudel for dessert and it was heavenly.

Schölzhornhof

28/01/2026: We hiked from Larchhof, above the Ratschings-Jaufen ski area, through the winter forest to Schölzhornhof. It took us about an hour, and we had certainly earned our lunch. The restaurant's menu features Alpine cuisine, incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. I can't comment on the hotel at this time.
19/01/2026: Delicious and plentiful… Friendly service… Lovely dining room… Highly satisfied and highly recommended.
