03/08/2024: More than 1 hour of waiting among other things there weren't even many people hot drinks, but the most embarrassing thing after 3 times asking the waiter for another beer I finally got up and went to the counter to ask and collect it say person to drink 40 minutes to have a beer while you are eating.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest and friendliest owners, who made us feel like old friends rather than just customers.The food was simply outstanding—each dish bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly balanced spices that transported us straight to Thailand. What truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view. Nestled on a hillside, the restaurant offers a panoramic vista of Merano, making the meal feel like a true escape. We were able to savor our dinner while watching the sun set over the town, which was a magical experience in itself.The owners’ passion for both their food and their guests’ experience shines through in every detail, making this restaurant an absolute must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough—if you’re in Merano, do yourself a favor and dine here!

31/07/2024: We were so looking forward to Ebeneich and the great view. We were there today on Wednesday (not a day off) at 12 p.m., but unfortunately it was closed. Obviously they don't want guests. It would be nice if you would adapt the website accordingly, then you can save yourself the hassle.

31/07/2024: THE BEER IS EXCELLENT, I WAS PLEASANTLY HAPPY, I TRIED THE FOOD, UNFORTUNATELY, SINCE I WAS IN A RUSH, ONLY THE PIZZA AND IT WAS EXCELLENT, SURELY THE MEAT AND SANDWICHES MUST ALSO BE EXCELLENT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT AS A LOCAL LOCATION TO EVERYONE. P.S. REMEMBER THAT BEFORE SITTING OUTSIDE YOU MUST ASK PERMISSION, SINCE, HAVING NOT SEEN THE SIGN WITH THE RULES OF THE LOCATION AND THE NOTICES, I SAT ON ONE OF THE CHAIRS OUTSIDE, WHERE IT WAS ALMOST EVERYTHING FREE, AND I WAS RESCALED , BUT NOTHING SPECIAL THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED. FOR THE REST EVERYTHING IS OK, IF I HAPPEN I WILL RETURN IT AND I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

03/07/2024: Dit restaurant is zeer centraal gelegen . De bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. De pizza’s zijn iets duurder dan elders maar de kwaliteit is prima en de locatie moet ook betaald worden . Een glas wijn (gewurztraminer) was van topkwaliteit.

29/06/2024: We went for evening drinks but Valentino our server was very rude and dismissive . Did not give us a menu when she arrived and seemed disappointed when we ordered only drinks . Will not go back there

12/08/2024: Spettacolare, il panificio FRISCH a Brunico. Ne avevo già sentito parlare, così quando oggi sono tornato con la moglie, le buone premesse c'erano tutte, e cominciavano da fuori il negozio nella centralissima strada cittadina. Il profumo di pane e dolci fragranti cominciava metri prima, fuori, e infatti le panchine vicino alla fontanella erano già tutte occupate... Ci siamo presi due belle focaccie farcite, una con speck e rucola, l'altra con verdure varie... Deliziose, ce le siamo andate a mangiare sotto al Castello, al fresco. W il Frisch, W Brunico, W l'Alto Adige ;-)

30/06/2024: Accoglienza pressochè normale. i panini sono buoni e adeguatamente imbottiti. il prezzo degli stessi si aggira intorno ai 9 euro (il piatto è senza patatine). In questo locale non c'è un parcheggio quindi dovrai inseriti in qualche stradina o parcheggiare difronte a delle piccole attività commerciali.

24/08/2024: We were dead tired from a hike. I asked to take away 2 bottles of water (from the conad next door which was already closed at 6.30pm) and a coke in a glass bottle. Cost €7!!! A theft! And he even gave me the coke unopened! I had to ask to open it!

14/08/2024: 11-day stay in the last ten days of July 2024 with half board (2 people). New or recently renovated restaurant room, sauna and small indoor swimming pool, beautiful and welcoming. Room and bathroom with very, very old furniture, fixtures and fixtures, no bidet, daily cleaning too fast to be effective. Bathroom linen (has seen better times) changed after 4 days only upon explicit request. Banal, monotonous cuisine, with potatoes reigning supreme and far from the typical dishes and flavors of the mountains. Excessive markups on mineral water and wines. Some of the service staff are friendly and helpful but the remainder have difficulties with the Italian language that effectively prevent even the simplest of dialogues. In short, overall I think it's not worth the amount we paid (85 euros/day per person) and I don't feel like recommending it.

20/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo veloce e siamo rimasti positivamente sorpresi. Piatti gustosi, con abbinamenti ricercati e studiati che abbiamo apprezzato molto. Si nota la passione per la ristorazione. Servizio impeccabile. Bravi 👏

28/07/2024: I don't understand why in 2024 restaurants still don't have baby changing tables! Made two shelters over the weekend and both with changing mats, diapers and even wipes! For the rest, the service is quite slow but the food is good, as usual.

17/07/2024: Very good food, but too much waiting considering that there was no one in the restaurant yet, unfortunately the stop was too short to evaluate better, there was no air conditioning.
