13/03/2026: The carbonara is good, but it's not exactly wow-worthy. I didn't like the Angus burger, but it depends on your taste. The prices are above average. The atmosphere hasn't changed under the new management. I think beer prices in other establishments are really high, and not just here.

16/05/2026: Beautiful and well-kept place, good food. I had a giant cutlet with roast potatoes, everything was very good. The only problem was that the staff was too limited for the number of people there, because I had to wait 10 minutes for a bottle of water. But otherwise, I had a good time.

22/09/2025: Very nice accommodation with great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom was also top-notch and very clean. The pizza was excellent, and overall, the pizzeria with the millstones had a very nice atmosphere. Why only 4 stars? Because we always needed a car to get to our planned vacation destinations. But if you want to explore the nature park, this is an excellent place to stay. We would still be happy to come back, just with different destinations :-)

Great food and inclusiveness are the hallmarks of Il Cantinone, but they're in disarray when the person picking up the menu and ordering is a vegetarian or vegan. Starting from the premise that not having even a specifically vegetarian or vegan sandwich or salad in a well-known restaurant in the center of Turin in 2026 is truly embarrassing. A farinata, a zucchini burger, battered vegetables, dips, gazpacho, eggplant meatballs, baked fennel, caponata, orange salad, avocado toast, stewed cabbage, and sautéed escarole. As you can see, there are traditional dishes that are already naturally vegan, instead of that sad salad (which I don't even eat at home). If you really don't want to commit to expanding the menu because you consider yourself a pizzeria, then the pizza, burger, and salad menu should truly reflect those ideals of inclusion. In 2026, deliberately deciding to exclude a segment of increasingly growing needs is doomed to failure. The mediocre will think they're right to continue as they always have; the winner will keep up with society's needs and even enjoy it. The choice is yours.

04/07/2026: Charging 4€ for the table setting - for the waiter doing his job is bizarre :) They brought us bread in a paper bag - hard. But the food was delivered quite quickly, but there was nothing special. The menu was not particularly varied or interesting.

06/06/2026: Our stay at Hotel Castel Latemar was excellent from start to finish. We would especially like to highlight the extraordinary kindness and professionalism of the entire staff, who made us feel welcome at all times. They were always attentive to our needs, with a warm, friendly, and highly helpful attitude. The quality of the food deserves special recognition. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding, featuring well-prepared dishes, high-quality ingredients, and a great variety of options. Every meal was a delightful experience that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel's service was impeccable. The facilities are very well maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the stay. We highly recommend Hotel Castel Latemar to anyone visiting the Lago di Carezza area who is looking for comfort, excellent cuisine, and outstanding hospitality. We look forward to returning in the future.

02/06/2026: A charming hotel with a charming appearance, immersed in a suggestive landscape, initially chosen for its location at the center of our motorcycle itinerary, it turned out to be even more pleasant than expected, with welcoming and kind staff, excellent breakfast and also the restaurant, perhaps the room was not generous in terms of space (but it depends more on one's habits) on the other hand even from the balcony there was a beautiful view, thanks to the waiter, even if very busy on Sunday evening he was always kind and friendly as on other evenings 👍

02/07/2026: Good place, but it's a shame the service was very slow and the dishes were a bit too small, at least for the appetizer. I recommend not ordering just one slice of capocollo or two slices of salami... too happy. Otherwise, a beautiful location and very welcoming and helpful owners!

30/06/2026: As always, a beautiful dinner was organized under the stars in a very elegant setting outside the restaurant. Everything was themed, with live music. A well-managed evening, and fun guaranteed.

20/06/2026: A really nice way to spend your lunch break at the Brenner Pass: Burgers, fries, and sausages are the norm, but Luis also offers daily specials, and today's spaghetti aglio e olio was absolutely delicious. If he starts using thinner spaghetti next time, he'll definitely be a contender for that first Michelin star!

08/12/2025: I'll start by saying I've always been a loyal customer of this place since the owner, Max, was there. He was super friendly and nice, and his wife in the kitchen was the best... I'm returning after years under new management. When I walk in, I no longer feel the warm welcome (in every sense of the word). There's very little people (three tables occupied). I open the menu 😱 Not even a third of the menu they used to have. Okay, I opt for the cutlet with deep-fried potatoes. First, I call the waitress and tell her it's cold. Can she turn on the heating? It was freezing! She turned it on, but before it started heating, we finished eating. Conclusion??? Today I'm in bed because I had a congestion!! That said, the food was well cooked, nothing to complain about, but you can't keep a place in the cold in December with customers eating. I definitely won't be returning, and I miss the days when Max was there.

10/08/2025: After a long time I returned to have lunch at this place and I must say that the dishes are always super excellent and super abundant. If you have no idea what to eat, well here you have no problem, you will find something for all tastes and palates: appetizers, first courses, second courses, pizzas, hot sandwiches, piadinas and desserts. The biggest difficulty is choosing because unfortunately they are all good. What can I say if you go there, have a good meal! Ps if you want they also do take-away.
