04/07/2025: It's safe to say!!! When the pan is left dirty with used or fried oil, the environment suffers, especially the guests...etc... I strongly do not recommend it.

23/05/2025: Good location, but above all the pizza, I haven't eaten one like this in a long time, really excellent.

08/12/2025: This place is near our hotel. We wanted to try the local dishes, and I can say they were very good. It seemed family-run. If you're passing through, give it a try, it's worth it! 😉

27/10/2025: The food is a bit more expensive than some other restaurants in town. Otherwise, the portions are very large, which is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the taste isn't quite as good, but rather average. For this price, it's more about quantity than quality, but it was still okay. A street vendor came in who seemed to know the staff and was talking to them. He also tried to sell us something and was a bit pushy, which is completely unacceptable in a restaurant.

01/03/2026: A random and very positive experience. Unobtrusive, tiny, family restaurant. The interior is outdated, a bit Tyrolean in style, but I liked it. It was so homely, like somewhere at grandma's. The menu was basic, fewer items, the better the food preparation. 🥓🌶️🍳👍🏻 The lady serving was very nice and helpful, happy to advise on choosing a dish. The food was excellently prepared, with respect for the ingredients. It was a very pleasant surprise. 👍🏻 We will be happy to come back here. 🙂

22/09/2025: Very nice accommodation with great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom was also top-notch and very clean. The pizza was excellent, and overall, the pizzeria with the millstones had a very nice atmosphere. Why only 4 stars? Because we always needed a car to get to our planned vacation destinations. But if you want to explore the nature park, this is an excellent place to stay. We would still be happy to come back, just with different destinations :-)

02/11/2025: We stopped in for dinner. The atmosphere is a bit classic but charming in its own way, full of wooden details. Prices are slightly above average, but the dishes are generous. We only tried the dumplings and were pleased, especially the beetroot dumpling on horseradish cream, which was included in the trio. Child seats are available. Conveniently located on the road, with ample parking.

18/02/2026: The hotel truly resembles a castle: large common areas and underground passages. It could use a major general modernization and greater attention to detail. The rooms are a bit small, only partially modernized. The breakfast is standard, as is found everywhere: it could use more local touches that reflect the area. The staff is friendly, especially at reception. Being able to ski directly from the hotel is fantastic.

24/02/2026: Great for anyone who wants to experience the Tyrolean version of "Gleich" (meaning "just now") and has at least two days left on their ski pass. Would definitely go again if all the other restaurants in the Ahrntal valley are closed. Small edit: We have absolutely no reason to fake a negative review. We waited an hour and weren't even given a chance to take our order. The fact that the owners reacted so rudely to criticism and offered no helpful feedback speaks volumes...

14/02/2026: Highly recommended, excellent value for money. The food and beer selection could be a little more refined. Sometimes a bit too loud due to the big screen being on at high volume. Service is okay.

08/12/2025: I'll start by saying I've always been a loyal customer of this place since the owner, Max, was there. He was super friendly and nice, and his wife in the kitchen was the best... I'm returning after years under new management. When I walk in, I no longer feel the warm welcome (in every sense of the word). There's very little people (three tables occupied). I open the menu 😱 Not even a third of the menu they used to have. Okay, I opt for the cutlet with deep-fried potatoes. First, I call the waitress and tell her it's cold. Can she turn on the heating? It was freezing! She turned it on, but before it started heating, we finished eating. Conclusion??? Today I'm in bed because I had a congestion!! That said, the food was well cooked, nothing to complain about, but you can't keep a place in the cold in December with customers eating. I definitely won't be returning, and I miss the days when Max was there.

10/08/2025: After a long time I returned to have lunch at this place and I must say that the dishes are always super excellent and super abundant. If you have no idea what to eat, well here you have no problem, you will find something for all tastes and palates: appetizers, first courses, second courses, pizzas, hot sandwiches, piadinas and desserts. The biggest difficulty is choosing because unfortunately they are all good. What can I say if you go there, have a good meal! Ps if you want they also do take-away.
