22/11/2025: Non-existent service. We arrived at 9 PM on a Saturday night, ordered at 9:30 PM, and by 11 PM we still hadn't eaten... There was only one waitress in the dining room, embarrassing, highly inadvisable.

16/11/2025: It was a nice evening, but it was a shame about a young, slightly muscular bartender who rudely asked us to leave a table that was reserved. When he pointed out his rudeness in the way he asked us to leave, he decided to show off by raising his voice, almost as if he wanted to argue. This message is for you: don't do this job if you don't know how to manage your emotions and how to deal with customers. You're ridiculous.

22/07/2025: È forse il posto dove ho mangiato peggio a Brunico. Gnocchetti completamente immersi nella panna, cavolo cappuccio asprissimo e canderli senza sapore e molto asciutti. Posto abbastanza caotico, prezzi medio alti…in pieno centro a Brunico c’è di molto meglio secondo me.

20/09/2025: It's a shame the bakery isn't open on Sundays like it used to be; it was our first stop when we arrived from Germany. Located on the main road, but with a roundabout and plenty of parking, it's always worth a visit.

25/01/2026: We were misled by the good reviews here, which apparently referred to the previous owner. Disgusting place. Dirty tables, absolutely dreary, owner/staff pushy and rude. We were also charged more than the menu price. This place should be shut down by the authorities.

20/08/2025: Let's just say that for a fruit smoothie (which wasn't even that great), charging 6 euros is a bit excessive. Furthermore, next to the stall there were some rusty sheets of metal, and a child could get hurt. Improvable.

The staff is always kind, smiling, and genuinely attentive—you can tell they love what they do and care about every customer. I can never leave without their best-selling strudel: it's simply perfect. The thin, fragrant pastry envelops a filling of fragrant apples, spices, and a touch of sweetness that captivates with every bite. It's the kind of dessert that tells a story, that tastes of home, of the mountains, and of authenticity. The E-type bread has also become a regular feature of mine—crunchy, aromatic, and full-flavored, perfect both on its own and as an accompaniment to any dish. Franziskaner isn't just a bakery, but a little corner of tradition and humanity in the heart of Bolzano. Every visit is a simple yet special moment of pleasure, always leaving you wanting more.
