Lots of new things, lots of commitment, good service, actually 5 stars, since even the prices are moderate, were it not for our billing experience: we couldn't understand the surcharge policy for the dumplings at all and in our opinion simply paid too much, even if it was ultimately only about 2-3 €, I felt there was a lack of transparency.

I went for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent! The food and wine were locally sourced, harvested in the surrounding woods.

I've known Lanzenschuster for many years; we always eat there when we're in the area. The dishes are excellent, plentiful, and carefully prepared. Highly recommended!

We spent a short vacation in this beautiful, completely renovated wooden property. Spacious room with a large terrace offering a fantastic view. The owners were very kind and hospitable. Excellent food and a generous breakfast. The cabin, located at about 1,500 meters above sea level, offers a beautiful view, although reaching it requires a narrow, winding road that can be problematic if you encounter oncoming traffic.

The restaurant in the new Lanzenschuster boasts a striking and well-designed interior: panoramic views and a large outdoor terrace. Inside, there are various seating areas, including the "Old Room" and a barrel-shaped room, all furnished with a mix of old and new wood in different textures. Colorful chairs and upholstery echo the hues of the larch and lichen trees. The service is friendly and incredibly fast. The menu features standard dishes as well as some more unusual options (like chestnut and pumpkin dumplings). The value for money is excellent, and the portions are generous—for example, €15 for pork schnitzel with outstanding fried potatoes or €11.50 for the house pasta. Many locals frequent the restaurant, which speaks volumes! A truly recommended and welcome addition to the local culinary scene.
