A family-run establishment near St. Peter's Basilica, built in the classic Bavarian tavern style. It offers products grown in Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige, and Carinthia, purchased directly from the establishment's suppliers, who prepare certified, environmentally friendly and animal-friendly dishes. Entering "La Cantina Tirolese" feels like being transported to a true Tyrolean landscape in Rome, where you can enjoy excellent draft beer, typical of the region it draws inspiration from.
The staff is truly courteous and ready to serve guests.

Friendly staff, generous portions, authentic Tyrolean flavors, and express cuisine.
Spacious dining room on the lower level.
Helpful tip: Order the traditional desserts (Kaiserschmarren) in advance due to the express preparation times.

One of the best places in Rome. Tyrolean, Bavarian, German atmosphere... peaceful enough for conversation. Excellent food with many delicious gluten-free options. Very good beers, although I'd like a wider selection, perhaps a Belgian one...

I was looking for a special place in Prati, and the Cantina Tirolese was a wonderful discovery. The place is beautiful, with its wooden furnishings that instantly transport you to a mountain refuge.
We started with the antipasto platter: traditional cured meats and a truly excellent selection of cheeses, all fresh and carefully presented. For our highlights, we tried the pan-fried Stroganoff, tender and flavorful, and their authentic sausages, which felt like they were on a whole other level.
To finish off in style, the strudel was a must: accompanied by their cream, it was simply out of this world. Everything was delicious, from the first course to the last.
Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was extremely fast and the staff were extremely kind, always attentive and smiling.
Reading the other reviews, I had high expectations, and I must say they were exceeded. If you want to eat well in a warm and characteristic atmosphere, this is the place.
I will definitely be back!

An excellent Tyrolean tavern serving traditional Austrian dishes like dumplings, spätzle, and excellent cured meats and cheeses.
My girlfriend and I went there and were very satisfied: we shared a tasty and carefully selected speck platter, followed by a plate of sausages and a pork shank, both very generous and well-cooked.
The strudel was also noteworthy, truly excellent (apparently one of Cardinal Ratzinger's favorites).
With a 1-liter beer for two, we spent about €40 per person: a fair price considering the quality and portions.
Friendly and helpful service.

Very positive experience, all the dishes we tried were excellent, prices a little above average, but it's worth returning several times.
