25/05/2026: If all of Castelbuono is talking about Fiasconaro, you have to change the subject and stop at Palazzaccio, a completely renovated restaurant with friendly service and quality cuisine made with excellent ingredients! Almost everything is homemade... a relaxing lunch or dinner without going overboard. Typical local cuisine that aims to give you a different experience. They've succeeded! Fairly priced!
17/05/2026: This one deserves all the credit - the welcome, the food, the value for money - all excellent. We came in early for Saturday, the chef himself welcomed us in, we had a tour of the kitchen and in general had a great experience. The tasting appetizer menu of six dishes, the lamb chops and the suckling pig were freshly made and excellent. So was the dessert. The restaurant filled up by 9:30pm, while we came in at 7:30pm. We'll, the Michellin listing is well deserved.

05/07/2026: I'm a true pistachio granita enthusiast: I try it practically everywhere, and I have enough to compare it to to say, without exaggeration, that THIS IS THE BEST PISTACHIO GRANITA I've ever had.
The flavor is intense, with pistachios that seem freshly chopped. The sweetness is perfect, never overpowering, and the texture is just the right amount of creamy.
I also tried the almond and coffee version: good, but not as extraordinary as the pistachio one, despite costing the same €5.80.
The brioche col tuppo is small but very flavorful. I also paired it with a slice of panettone, which is practically a must here.
For pistachio lovers, this granita is definitely worth a try.
02/07/2026: Fantastic shop, I have been here several times during my travels around Sicily! I very much enjoyed the degustation of your famous produce and also to pause for a coffee and delicious cartocci! Bought a few pannetonis which my loved ones enjoyed so much! pistachio crème and torroncini are great as well! Wish I could try more things but I guess I have another tasty reason to return to this magical island!

15/05/2026: Nice place in a pedestrian area. Outdoor seating and friendly service. Excellent local food. Prices are reasonable for the quality, but not excessive. Must try!

07/06/2026: There were four of us in Castelbuono for the flower festival. We booked at Cycas after reading the reviews. It's not our first time in Castelbuono, but we'd never been to this restaurant before. It was a perfect choice... We were greeted very warmly and guided through our choices. We ordered an appetizer for two, but we split it between the four of us, and I must say we were right because we enjoyed the rest of the meal that way. Then we had two first courses, two second courses, and finally two desserts. Everything was truly excellent. The price was commensurate with the quality. We'll be back.

27/06/2026: We found ourselves in Castelbuono for a weekend motorcycle trip and on that occasion we had the opportunity to stumble upon the Sferruzza bar. We were struck by the friendliness and attention to customer service, then what can I say? I ate a spectacular panelle and crocche' sandwich and a delicious puff pastry dessert 😍 in the morning I then tried the pistachio and strawberry granita with brioche and I loved it too, and then on the waiter's advice I returned in the evening to try their pizza, I found it delicious 😍 crunchy, with excellent products and digestible dough, we had one with sausage and the diavola, both delicious 😍😍 if we happen to find ourselves in those parts, we will definitely return. Highly recommended place ❤️

29/04/2026: Lunch on April 25, 2026. A welcoming place with friendly and professional staff.
Separate and clean bathrooms.
For appetizers, roasted cheese with chestnut honey and walnuts, eggplant caponata, and mushrooms with melted cheese. For first courses, tagliatelle carbonara and ravioli. Everything was very good. Not much choice for dessert. Average price.

02/06/2026: A less than engaging experience. We arrived when there were still only a few tables occupied and ordered an appetizer of fries and pizzas.
After a long while, when the room was already full, and still waiting a long time for fries, pizzas were being delivered left and right to tables occupied by customers who had arrived after us. After asking the staff for clarification, we honestly realized that the order had been lost. Some people enjoyed the pizzas, but others, including me, didn't. Perhaps the choice of pizza type influenced the final rating.
The price was excellent, but we would have appreciated a discount or a free apology for the mistake.

04/01/2026: We went to this restaurant because the people we were with had been there before and had reported a good experience. We had lunch with appetizers, first courses, and a second course. Everything was really good, with generous portions and a good value. The mushrooms were very fresh. The staff was friendly and always smiling. The location, in the historic center of Castelbuono, offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a panoramic view (especially in the summer). Recommended.
