22/03/2026: A restaurant and pizzeria just steps from the main street. The restaurant is rustic but charming and tastefully furnished, adorned with beautiful paintings. The menu features Sicilian dishes, some with a modern twist. The pizza is delicious: thin and crispy, easy to digest, and offers a variety of flavors, from traditional to more original.
In summer, you can dine in the front garden around a beautiful cycad.
18/03/2026: We went to this place because a nearby pizzeria was closed (we were looking for a warm pizza given the cold day).
Once in, at the time we where about to order the food the woman told us that they didn’t have pizza at lunch time, that it is only for the afternoons.
Is that hard to put a notice outside stating it? We wanted to see the town during the day to have light, how come pizzas are only at night?
The food was ok but we didn’t have the amounts other comments seems to have had. Inside the restaurant it was very cold, it’s a very big room with stone walls and they were saving money.
At the end the food, ourselves and the experience got cold.
Awful experience that made us leave the town immediately. Good riddance.

What can I say...
Excellent cuisine, we had lunch in a relaxing atmosphere, with delicious dishes.
Comfortable atmosphere, courteous, helpful, and never intrusive staff. Highly recommended.
When we're passing through Castelbuono, we'll definitely be back.
09/01/2026: We had a lovely dinner at Palazzaccio. The service was very professional and the food was excellent. The quality of the products were amazing including the local olive oil and wine. We only recommend to include more vegetarian dishes to the menu. Thank you again for the experience!

Just this evening we called to order four Rocher-flavored Colomba cakes! We drove to Castelbuono and picked them up freshly baked and packaged!
Kind and welcoming, they even gave us a sweet and genuine gift.
I found only professionalism and kindness.
At Christmas and Easter, I never go without their delicious panettone and Colomba cakes.
See you in the summer to try their gelato.

04/03/2026: We visited this restaurant with my family just off the square. They have beautiful views and the restaurant looks very nice. The owner is a helpful and smiling gentleman. The restaurant has very nice photos of the dishes. The dishes really look and feel luxurious. I had pork ribs because I love them, they were dry and absolutely tasteless. My wife and children had grandma's pasta with beef and pork ragu, it was great. Pork tenderloin in a pistachio and almond crust was also great. Pasta with mushrooms was completely tasteless. So some dishes were very good, some were weaker. Anyway, nice staff.
24/02/2026: We've been coming back to this restaurant almost every year for 12 years! We've never been disappointed! Excellent quality, elegance! Friendly service, delicious food! The owner is kind and friendly, and the way he sings! 👌

11/03/2026: A flawless stay at Do House in Castelbuono. The property is beautiful, clean, and meticulously maintained, in a perfect location for enjoying the village.
Special thanks to the owner, Domenico: a delightful and incredibly helpful person, his advice was invaluable for discovering the best of the area. Sicilian hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
28/02/2026: A lovely pub in the center of Castelbuono, near Piazza Margherita, with friendly service and truly excellent cocktails! The kids said the fries were delicious 😄.

04/01/2026: We went to this restaurant because the people we were with had been there before and had reported a good experience. We had lunch with appetizers, first courses, and a second course. Everything was really good, with generous portions and a good value. The mushrooms were very fresh. The staff was friendly and always smiling. The location, in the historic center of Castelbuono, offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a panoramic view (especially in the summer). Recommended.

02/01/2026: We had lunch here during the 'Dolcemente Castelbuono' event and the experience was one to forget. After an interminable hour and a half wait for two starters, we were served extremely low-quality food. The vegetarian appetizer was unpresentable (an inedible mushroom timbale and four disjointed vegetables), but the first courses were the final straw: one was overcooked to the point of mush and the other was practically raw and crunchy in the mouth. Paying €50 for two pasta dishes, an appetizer, water, and a Coke is a rip-off for this kind of quality. The lack of staff and total confusion in the kitchen are evident; in these cases, it would be more honest not to accept new tables rather than 'raise money' at the expense of customers. Never again, highly discouraged.
28/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday with my family. The owners Lorenzo and Giuseppe are always very kind, and the food was excellent, using local Madonie products.
We'll definitely be back.
