13/08/2026: Essentially the best of all my experiences (over 13 years) in Castelbuono, now far ahead of the others, albeit very pleasant and excellent restaurants. The new location is even more comfortable, the courtesy and precision of the staff are always top-notch. The wine cellar isn't extensive but can accommodate any request, and the food is constantly expanding. The most recent appetizer selection (which I regretfully can't post photos of because I devoured it) features truly excellent dishes, with ricotta and soufflés truly incredible. First courses are excellent, the ravioli are a winner, and the second courses have the potential to improve as they always have. In any case, the balanced experimentation, the use of local ingredients, and the pleasure of dining with the kindness and comfort offered make it a wasted opportunity to pass through Castelbuono and not stop at Palazzaccio.

09/08/2026: Always welcoming and courteous! Always ready to offer samples of their specialties! Their panettone is among the best on the market: it stays soft and full of flavor for a long time! The spreads are exceptional! Especially the pistachio and coffee ones! And what about the variety of almond pastries!? Aesthetically appealing, different in shape and ingredients (hazelnuts, walnuts, pine nuts, jam, pistachios, chocolate...), they all have one thing in common (besides almonds! 😅): they're incredibly delicious! 😋😋😋 A must-visit every time I go to Castelbuono! ❤️

14/08/2026: Galvanized by the good reviews on TripAdvisor, we happily went to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the disappointment was swift. The complimentary bread rolls, covered in oil, were tasteless. Then the main courses we received were even worse: a salad with cucumbers that tasted like soap. We pointed this out to the waitress, who said it was normal, they had been picked too early, without changing the dish or doing anything else. The pasta alla Norma was simply pasta in tomato sauce with some bland eggplant mush, tasteless. The plates were almost all full when she collected them, and she didn't ask why we were the only ones in the restaurant. In short, the only redeeming feature was the bottled water, which was refreshing. I've rarely had such bad food in Sicily in the fifteen or so years I've been coming here non-stop.

04/08/2026: In the summer, a stop in the square for a Sferruzza gelato is a ritual not to be missed! Always a guarantee. The staff is always friendly, and Rosario is always ready to accommodate every need!

16/07/2026: The brioche with ice cream was okay. Pistachio granita definitely needs a rethink. A granita like this isn't acceptable in Sicily... it's lacking substance and full of ice crystals.

15/08/2026: At a table of eight, we ordered mini pizzas and pasta with tomato sauce for the kids, and pizza, Florentine steak, and sliced ​​steak for the adults. Everyone was extremely satisfied. The pizza was soft and moist, tasty, easy to digest, and the ingredients were top-quality. The Florentine steak and sliced ​​steak were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.

17/08/2026: Perfect stay. We stayed at the Antico Baglio and had a flawless experience: well-maintained property, spotlessly clean, quiet, and welcoming room. The location is ideal for exploring Castelbuono on foot. The owners are kind and professional. We will definitely be back.

14/08/2026: Excellent, central location, easy to get to everywhere. Natale and Maria Rosaria are always available and very kind, and the cleanliness is impeccable down to the smallest detail. I highly recommend it, it's a truly peaceful place.

04/01/2026: We went to this restaurant because the people we were with had been there before and had reported a good experience. We had lunch with appetizers, first courses, and a second course. Everything was really good, with generous portions and a good value. The mushrooms were very fresh. The staff was friendly and always smiling. The location, in the historic center of Castelbuono, offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a panoramic view (especially in the summer). Recommended.

26/08/2026: we stopped for lunch (we were looking for a place to eat quickly) the place was well-kept, the boy who served us was very courteous and attentive, the pasta was good (baked anelletti), obviously needless to say, we'll see you again!!!!
