I stayed one night at this hotel. Overall, the experience was mediocre: a few negatives somewhat detracted from the beauty of the property. Let's proceed in order. The location is quite good compared to the town center and is easily accessible by car. The rooms are pleasant and clean, although the shower was a bit small and there were no toiletries. The only downside of the stay, however, was the welcome from a lady (whose name I don't remember), who wasn't particularly courteous: she was cold, blunt, and almost annoyed when we asked for directions to the parking lot. We were really disappointed... The breakfast buffet was a bit sparse, but the food was good. Check-out was different from check-in, where we had the pleasure of meeting a very kind gentleman who was available to provide directions with courtesy and kindness. Let's be clear: this criticism is meant to be constructive. I'm not judging the lady in question, who may have had a difficult day, or was tired, or simply didn't like us at first glance. A small effort to improve the way we interact would be the right way to enhance the facility, which is pleasant—it really doesn't take much to improve the flaws I've highlighted.

One of the best hotels during our long trip around Sicilia. Very clean, friendly and comfortable. The breakfast was realy good with everything we wanted. Our host Samuele was extremely polite, helpful and his fluent English was very much appreciated. Castelbuono is a small and nice town in the beautiful Madonie mountains, but also a good place for visiting Cefalu, if you want to escape the tourist masses at the coast.
