19/07/2026: I've never written a review, mostly negative ones. The location is nice and has a view, but the staff is quite rude. When you simply asked about the menu, they'd be snide. The prices are also high (e.g., €18 for a very rubbery octopus; I'd pay less in Milan or get better quality). Plus, the waiters kept coming by to see if we'd finished picking up our plates, which may seem normal, but acting as if you couldn't even leave your fork on your plate is incredibly annoying: as if they wanted to tell us to "go away so we can make room for others."

12/07/2026: If you go to a seafood restaurant on an island, I think the first thing you expect is for the fish to be fresh in every dish and to taste like the sea. The worst swordfish ever.

12/10/2025: I haven't tried all the bars in Lipari, but this is DEFINITELY the best for spectacular breakfasts and aperitivos!!! The prices are truly Sicilian, not the exorbitant tourist fare you'll find on most islands. We've tried the pastries, the granitas with cream, and the croissants; everything has always been delicious and served in the best possible way. Not to mention the aperitivos!! The price is incredibly low for everything they serve! If you go to the island, you MUST stop here at least once; besides, there's a bus stop right in front.

19/09/2025: I discovered this ice cream maker through work on the beautiful Panarea island. At a wedding I organized, Francesco won over all the guests with his excellent granitas, artisanal ice creams, and cakes, all served with such professionalism. Highly recommended if you're stopping on the beautiful Bougainvillea island.

18/06/2026: On an island where eating has become a slalom between mediocre cuisine (I'd like to but I can't (nor am I) and outrageous prices), Tiffany remains a guarantee of warm hospitality, a more than satisfying menu, and reasonable prices. Maria and Pino have left the management, but the new management has maintained its high standards. Excellent bar, some of the best yeasted pastries on the island, exceptional sesame, and local cuisine with excellent craftsmanship and ingredients. It's no coincidence that it's the bar of the workers and technicians who work on the island and the staff of the nearby hospital. The only drawback: it closes after lunch. Highly recommended.

10/06/2026: Only 10 minutes from the tourist bustle. Delicious tuna steak. Good calamari rings. Very friendly service, but they don't speak English. I recommend it.

14/07/2026: My friends and I ordered 4 Patatina pizzas (Margherita pizzas with fries) and 2 McDonald's pizzas (Margherita pizzas with sausage and fries). As soon as we arrived to pick up the pizzas, they charged us for 8 pizzas when the order was for 6. Luckily, we noticed the mistake and they fixed it. Looking at the reviews, it doesn't even seem to be an oversight; it's not just us. The only positive experiences seem to be those of foreigners, who are easy to take advantage of. When we got home, we opened the box and found 13 fries counted on the pizza. It's also absurd to charge a Patatina pizza the same as a McDonald's pizza, when the latter has more toppings. Terrible experience! Highly recommended... They took the name Patatina literally. The pizza we just ordered is attached.

14/07/2026: Gambas were tasteless really so paying for that was really not worth it. Pizzas were nice but nothing amazing. Overall too expensive for quality of the food, view is nice though

20/09/2025: Like everything on the island, it's rather expensive. The salad was very good. The pistachio cookies were a bit dry. Friendly service. Good outdoor seating. Large selection of dishes and breads.

27/04/2026: You MUST stop by Za Pippa...a well-deserved break. I ate the best zucchini flowers of my life, with a beautiful view in the background. Za Pippa was very welcoming and friendly, I would gladly return. Congratulations! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

14/09/2025: What a hidden little paradise! It was recommended to us, and we went there on our last day of vacation on Vulcano…luckily! Since it was the end of the season, it was very quiet. It's a small, hidden, and not very convenient beach (best reached by boat). We were there by car and had to park the car at the top by the road and walk down the steep road, but it was worth it. A small, beautiful beach, delicious schiacciata, and, above all, very friendly staff! They even gave us a lift on the way back out of kindness. Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: Very old and outdated; we had an aperitif served in a latte macchiato glass, along with day-old chips and nuts that were already soft and damp. There are better options.

01/06/2026: Reservations close at 12:30, but you can still add your name to the list and wait for tables to become available. Overall, a good place for a quick lunch on the beach without having to dismantle your umbrella and everything else. Food. The salad is good, but they could be a little more generous. The bread isn't very crispy and has too much crumb. Very good coffee. Friendly staff.
