14/01/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant after reading the positive comments and therefore left with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately I can't say that the experience was as we expected: when we arrived the restaurant with the internal garden was empty, we would have expected attentive service but instead, even with 3 waitresses, this was not the case. The food is certainly tasty but the dishes are certainly not balanced! The former gigantic and the latter paltry in quantity. I ordered the "stuffed calamari" (as indicated on the fish main menu) and only 1 arrived! According to my Italian (or even Sicilian) the expression "squid" in the plural suggests that there are at least 2 pieces! It is absurd to charge €19 for 1 stuffed squid without, among other things, a side dish included with this amount! it's the portion for a child.. Needless to say, we weren't even asked how it went.. they cleared the table without even asking if we wanted more.. we waited 20 minutes and, after no one showed up, we left to pay.. There was no one at the cash register.. when the lady with the POS came, as soon as the card was placed on the reader, she greeted us.. and nothing, in addition to being hungry we left with a bitter taste in the mouth for treatment (or rather no treatment) received. A real disappointment!! We do not recommend.

27/10/2024: Very good, if not the best on the island of Liberi, where mainly locals go, as it is hidden from tourists even though it is right next to the main promenade

18/10/2024: Beautiful, fresh and very good dishes, I would have liked to try them all! Not to mention the hospitality of the girls who made me feel at home, and made my experience in Lipari even more special. I will definitely come and visit you again!

16/10/2024: In the low season, it's a wonderfully quiet location on the Marina Corta because it's not right next to the other restaurants, but around the corner. Lots of fish and seafood dishes. Highly recommended tuna steak in pistachio breading. Plus baked/fried potatoes. We were surprised by the pasta with pistachio pesto! Really creamy, very mild, but very tasty. Slightly salty, really pleasant. Great type of pasta too. Friendly waitresses, attentive service. The price is high, but reasonable for good fish and good pasta. However, if you're looking for a selection without fish and seafood, you won't find much of it here. Most dishes are offered in this direction.

02/11/2024: Abendessen Ende Oktober, zur Zeit waren nur wenige Restaurants auf Stromboli offen. Essen war gut, auch die Bedienung war ok, es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

27/10/2024: My room was small but sufficient. Owners and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The food in the restaurant is superb. The surroundings are very nice. The garden around the B&B is very pleasant. The view of Stromboli volcano from the restaurant is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

06/01/2025: Highly recommended restaurant in the main street of Lipari. We weren't able to taste all the dishes we would have liked (due to a large lunch that ended a few hours before...), but what we ordered was exquisite, fresh and very accurate: swordfish rolls, escarole, buffalo mozzarella with raw prawns and mandarin jam, millefeuille with ricotta cream. Next time we will definitely be back to try the wonderful pasta dishes that were on offer.. Only note, the tables could be spaced further apart.

17/10/2024: A restaurant on the Corso di Lipari (the quietest part), dining at the tables outside is very characteristic. The team is very young, kind, competent. The food was really, really good, a mix of tradition and innovation. The plating is beautiful and the portions are right (not the usual small taste that unfortunately is often found in other restaurants). Sweet and sour meatballs, seafood salad, grouper ravioli, octopus with chickpea cream, Malvasia tiramisu. I really liked that the owner/chef came to the table to advise us and describe the dishes. I can't wait to return.

13/10/2024: Après avoir arpenté en vélo par une belle matinée très ensoleillée, une partie de l’île, nous sommes arrivés pour déjeuner. Le patron a accepté volontiers de nous accueillir dans la salle intérieure n’ayant plus de places à l’ombre en terrasse. Les plats choisis étaient copieux et succulents. La pizza « Valery » fut une surprise très agréable : garnie à souhait et délicieuse, jamais vue ailleurs.De plus, le patron nous a apporté gracieusement un plat de spaghettis au pesto, un délice. Nous recommandons vivement de vous arrêter en ce lieu.

18/09/2024: Durante il giro dell isola di Lipari in scooter, ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo ristorante presente lungo la strada che porta a Lipari. È stata una ottima scelta, poca varietà di primi ma squisiti, preparati sicuramente al momento. Optato per maccheroni della casa (non i soliti maccheroni commerciali) ma pasta medio lunga , e casarecci: porzioni abbondanti servite in un caratteristico piatto a ciotola, ottimo vino della casa. Prezzi sotto la media dell isola (primi dai 12 ai 16 euro). Consigliato.

09/09/2024: Settembre 2024. Siamo da una settimana a Canneto e ogni sera andiamo a Lipari ci facciamo viziare con i loro dolci. Sembra un locale di una volta con dei prodotti artigianali e squisiti. Il cannolo riempito al momento merita un 10. Brave, simpatiche e professionali le due ragazze. Consigliatissimo

16/01/2025: We had an amazing stay here. Our room(s) overlooked the water to Lipari with quick access to the pool and ocean. It was so relaxing - we got to have breakfast on the balcony every morning, always so much food!

18/10/2024: The food would be good and entering the bathroom is a unique experience. Problem: the tasting still left a bad taste in my mouth. We ordered the catch of the day, asking in advance how many ounces it was per portion: the waiter had told us that it would be more or less one and a half ounces each, but instead it was more than double; on prices that are based on the cost per hectogram, it seemed to me to be in bad taste not to notify the customer of such a large change. Also for the service: we had to ask for the bread because it hadn't been given to us at the table even after the first one arrived. Good food, mediocre service, decent location.
