16/03/2024: La Mandragola is a beautiful ristopub that I have been frequenting for years, the most comfortable place (in my opinion) in the city of Gela. Excellent for drinking, eating and spending pleasant evenings with friends and acquaintances. Polite and sociable staff and management!

11/03/2024: Just one flaw... Small place for all those people, but it's historic, maybe that's the beauty of it... Maybe if they sell nearby, some walls will be knocked down 😁😬😅❤️ Disturbing presences..., 😁 my PS colleagues... Nooo😱😱😱😱....

01/08/2024: For those who like (or need) to eat some good meat, I can hardly imagine a better place in Riesi! We ate outside with dignity (without being on the street), in a quiet area. I enjoyed a particularly hearty carpaccio which has nothing to do with the ten sheets of cigarette paper that we are served in France under this name, in itself this dish alone would have been enough to satisfy me! I followed it with good lamb chops and a (really) mixed and tasty salad. Next time... I won't hesitate to try la stigliola (the one from here, which differs from Palermitana, being more subtle in the words of a Palermintain DOC). I was afraid of not liking it. Error ! It's excellent... A kind of andouillette (lamb) but with liver, cheese, egg... The service is pleasant if not adorable and from the mother to the son (I imagine) everyone came kindly and without excess to ask us if everything was okay... It was the case, nothing to say. I now know where to sleep and where to eat well in Riesi. No need to add more, the numerous photos available here speak for themselves, right? Enjoy your food...

18/07/2024: Sit inside with a hint of your grandmas place that feels cozy and comfy as the comfort food that is offered. Different types of flour and also regional and seasonal produces added to the card and the feeling of Beeing at a friends place makes this place unique.

28/08/2024: I know the same place, the rooms are perfect, but as a pizza restaurant it leaves something to be desired, I tried to eat the pizza twice, but I must say that we didn't have heartburn for two days, maybe I'm at fault, but I asked to local people and they advised me to change places. Let's leave the staff to it, I don't want to add anything else, I hope the pizza chef and some waiter change. travellers, you make the choice, I'm not the one saying it, go ahead and have a good holiday.

19/07/2024: Historic bar in Caltanissetta, a real bar with everything you expect for a pleasant break. Excellent pastry and rotisserie. Professional service. I find the 1.20 coffee excessive for the context.

01/08/2024: So happy to have been introduced to this restaurant by my cousin who lived in the neighbouring town. Incredible food, wonderful friendly personnel, fantastic atmosphere, family friendly (one of the only places I've found with adequate baby changing facilities). There might be a wait for food if they're busy, but that's like any popular restaurant. The pizza is delicious, I won't gatekeep my favourite one - ask for the Siciliana alla Simona. Chef's kiss! 👩‍🍳 💋

01/09/2024: Disappointing place, we were for an event let's start by saying there was poor food, especially the fish starters if you can call it that, pizzas all the same except after pointing out that after 2 hours of waiting we had only eaten Margherita and mushrooms at midnight other pizzas have arrived that we left, a piece of advice on the pizza tour, pizzas of different flavors must be brought, one course, no with a gap of half an hour per course, Gents cannot wait 5 hours to eat a pizza. Not recommended.
