07/10/2025: They gave me these fantastic sweets. Absolutely 10 for the packaged sweets...which are their own products anyway...and therefore 11 for heart attack, it keeps them fresh. 8 for the fruit ones. Delicious anyway. Thank you. You do a great job.

We took a trip to Sicily looking for, among other things, the best pasta dish, and we found what we were looking for right in the heart of the island.
Many times, in movies that talk about Italian cuisine, a cozy, family-friendly and homely restaurant is shown where the protagonists meet a lady who cooks and delights with food, because it really exists!
From now on, we love Maria not only for cooking us extraordinary dishes (we repeated several days), but also because she told us many things about the island and life.

Excellent coffee and cappuccino. Good croissant, with truly excellent cream inside. Well-filled.
The arancini are good, but a bit too peppery, so you have to like that predominant flavor.

03/10/2025: The place has a lovely country atmosphere, but the service is sketchy. The picanha arrived cold and hard!! The fries were cold.
What a shame!
10/09/2025: 30g of (old) bread inside 100g of lettuce, 124g of (very dry) chicken, and 131g of potatoes: "all" of this for €14, a complete steal.
Luckily, I had another portion of potatoes for €4 (you get 2kg for €4, not 400g, but whatever).

11/11/2025: We went to this place for dinner, having already decided to have pizza with friends, and I can honestly say that I think I ate one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. Besides the excellent dough, the real highlight was the quality of the other ingredients, which were truly top-notch. Another plus for this restaurant/pizzeria is the option to order all their pizzas and other dishes gluten- and lactose-free. (There was a celiac in my group,) believe me, ladies and gentlemen, these days a place like this is not only a cut above, but also incredibly fast. Friendly and professional staff, a family atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Need I say more? I hope to return soon. Highly recommended!

17/10/2025: Having dinner with family on vacation, I expected more, nothing special or exceptional. How could you not have stigliole and spring onions in San Cataldo?
The waitress took our order three times because when she got to the kitchen, what we'd ordered was gone.
