07/01/2026: On the Writers' Road, a lunch break worthy of Pirandello. The originality of the people of Agrigento astonishes once again. The search for fresh ingredients, generous portions, and culinary expertise are evident, beyond all reasonable opinion, in the kitchen of a gas station café.
Fair prices, good food, and generous portions. Obviously, it's not a restaurant, but a place for a quick lunch break.
But...if there were service stations in Italy, perhaps we'd be happier paying our tolls to eat at places like this.

They don't have raw fish
The icing on the cake, €9 for a plate of white pasta for the child.
Never again! Answer... unfortunately, I've been there, and the dishes were average, not bad, presented at trattoria level.
I repeat, a plate of white pasta for €9 with a very long wait isn't the best!
08/01/2026: Excellent, delicious, and surprisingly inexpensive (tiramisu or artichoke for €5, pasta for €14) considering the quality. They're in the Michelin Guide but without a star, I think; with a little more effort, they could easily achieve it. Very efficient service.

11/01/2026: You immediately feel at home. The owners welcome guests with a hearty and varied appetizer that showcases all the ingredients. The menu continues with excellent first courses, though they don't stand out compared to the dishes from the large grill in the dining room: a masterfully cooked mixed grill accompanied by salad and potatoes. Highly recommended for a pleasant Sunday lunch.

29/09/2025: Nice place, good food and drinks. The only downside is that everyone has to order either just pasta or just burgers at the same table, because the same person would cook them. You can, however, order pasta and a main course. Oh well.

06/10/2025: I've loved anchovy pizza ever since I tried it a while ago at the old Très Chic pizzeria in Favara. From that moment on, I fell in love with this pizza!
Today I returned to Très Chic!, which renovated its pizzeria, making it more colorful and exotic! Everything is new, but the pizza is still delicious! Even though the size of "O Sole Mio" has decreased slightly, the ingredients are still top-quality!

24/07/2025: I promised I would return and it went very well this time too. I ate a plate of fantastic pasta, there was so much of it and so much fish that I couldn't eat anything else, but I had the sommelier serve me a nice bottle, he also gave me excellent advice. Thank you, thank you all.

13/01/2026: The osteria is located on a small side street near the theater. It's a pleasant, harmonious place. The food is excellent, and there are some off-menu dishes suggested by the chef. We had a seafood salad made with fresh raw and cooked fish and a pasta dish with shrimp and bottarga—absolutely delicious. We paired our meal with a glass of white wine, but the wine selection is varied and offers a selection of interesting wineries. We finished lunch with dessert—the Sicilian cassata, which completed the deliciousness. The staff is very attentive to the customer's needs. I highly recommend it. Tourists and anyone in the area should definitely go there, you won't regret it.
06/01/2026: Located in the historic center, adjacent to the city hall and the beautiful Teatro Pirandello, the restaurant is welcoming and elegant, filled with theater posters as if it were a foyer. Service is fast and impeccable, and the dishes are simple, authentic, and unfussy. Fish is Ruga's signature dish, whether in broth, baked, or fried, the ingredients are treated to achieve excellent results. Highly recommended.

05/12/2025: Very friendly and professional bar. I’d passed by many times but had never been inside. When I finally went in for something sweet, I realized it’s much cozier inside than it looks from the outside, and they offer many pastries from the south.

13/12/2025: Golf as you'd wish: 18 holes at Verdura Golf Club – completely stress-free, pure enjoyment. Perfect weather, a stunning course, and so relaxed that even the ball seemed to know where it was going (most of the time, anyway...).
The welcome was incredibly warm; you immediately feel at home and in good hands. Everything ran smoothly, no waiting, no pushing – just play, enjoy, and admire the view in between.
To top it all off, a wonderfully cold, delicious beer awaited us after the round, which definitely performed as well as the course itself.
In short: A thoroughly enjoyable day of golf in Sicily that you'd gladly repeat immediately. Highly recommended!

25/11/2025: The place has a great atmosphere. The food portions are decent, though some of us (6 of us) were left half-eaten. We ordered pasta and fish (sea bass). Delicious. Unfortunately, we arrived before closing time (3 p.m.) and the dishes were undercooked. The pasta was too hard, and the potatoes served with the fish were also hard. Hence the only 3 stars. The service was okay.

18/01/2026: My friend and I stopped by for lunch. A pleasant restaurant. I would particularly recommend the seafood platter + fish tartare and caviar with fresh bread and salted butter. The seafood platter was beautifully prepared, well seasoned, and the fish was lightly marinated. Perfection! I also appreciate the good selection of wines served by the glass. They paired beautifully with both the appetizer and the main course. The only thing I don't understand is why they kept offering me Syrah with fish/seafood. Don't get me wrong. Sicilian Syrahs are great, but I would never pair them with fish/seafood :-)
Value for money, I would be more than happy to repeat my visit.
