09/03/2026: Wonderful restaurant with very friendly staff: they even seated us even though they were about to close. The dishes we tried were excellent; I've attached photos of the risotto with prickly pear cream and red shrimp and the braised beef in Nero d'Avola wine. The price is in line with the quality of the dishes. I recommend!

24/02/2026: What can I say...a historic Agrigento bar, now admirably managed by Dr. Calogero, son of the founder Giuseppe, who passed away prematurely. The pastries and ice cream are top-notch. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous. It deserves all five stars.

Delicious and traditional cuisine, excellent, varied and traditional appetizers; two delicious first courses (the orecchiette with pork ragù was insane!!), a mix of top-quality meats, and a superb dessert!
The peach with ricotta and amaretto ended the meal exceptionally well.
An intimate and welcoming place, with courteous and attentive service!
Highly recommended!!

24/07/2025: I promised I would return and it went very well this time too. I ate a plate of fantastic pasta, there was so much of it and so much fish that I couldn't eat anything else, but I had the sommelier serve me a nice bottle, he also gave me excellent advice. Thank you, thank you all.

23/12/2025: It may be strange but I don't like it... everything is well looked after, the service is formal and attentive but overall the environment is cold and impersonal
13/12/2025: Golf as you'd wish: 18 holes at Verdura Golf Club – completely stress-free, pure enjoyment. Perfect weather, a stunning course, and so relaxed that even the ball seemed to know where it was going (most of the time, anyway...).
The welcome was incredibly warm; you immediately feel at home and in good hands. Everything ran smoothly, no waiting, no pushing – just play, enjoy, and admire the view in between.
To top it all off, a wonderfully cold, delicious beer awaited us after the round, which definitely performed as well as the course itself.
In short: A thoroughly enjoyable day of golf in Sicily that you'd gladly repeat immediately. Highly recommended!

07/01/2026: On the Writers' Road, a lunch break worthy of Pirandello. The originality of the people of Agrigento astonishes once again. The search for fresh ingredients, generous portions, and culinary expertise are evident, beyond all reasonable opinion, in the kitchen of a gas station café.
Fair prices, good food, and generous portions. Obviously, it's not a restaurant, but a place for a quick lunch break.
But...if there were service stations in Italy, perhaps we'd be happier paying our tolls to eat at places like this.

09/03/2026: I ordered a birthday cake three days in advance. I specifically requested a chocolate cream filling on the outside and a heart-shaped ricotta filling. They called me the day before to confirm the order. The next day, the day of delivery at 7:15, I received a WhatsApp message saying the cake wasn't available. They could have had chocolate on the outside and ricotta on the inside, or another option. Given the situation, I decided to cancel the order and turned to others who, fortunately, made the cake in time for the party.
28/02/2026: I ordered this cake for a truly special occasion, and the result exceeded all expectations. The cake was simply marvelous: meticulously crafted, elegant, and perfectly tailored to my specifications. Beyond its aesthetic beauty, it was also exquisite, a favorite with all our guests.
A special thank you for your professionalism, availability, and attention to detail throughout the entire process. Impeccable service in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend this pastry shop!

17/02/2026: A very atmospheric place with delicious food. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional – I felt like they were constantly discreetly on the lookout and immediately responded whenever someone looked at them. The pizza was truly excellent. The capricciosa was a bit surprising, as it had egg – we're not used to it, but it's possible it's a local Sicilian version. The diavola was delicious, without a doubt. The Siciliana was very distinctive – a bit too salty for my liking, but still very tasty. You can tell they use good ingredients to make their pizza. I recommend it.
