The food is excellent: from appetizers to pizza, to meat dishes, everything is carefully prepared and flavorful. Kudos to the owners for their courtesy and helpfulness, especially Giorgia, who is incredibly kind and always attentive. We'll definitely be back!

14/05/2025: I had dinner with my wife, beautiful location, super dinner and excellent service, the staff welcomed us kindly accompanying us to our table and during dinner the lady lost the owner came to make sure if everything was to our liking. To be repeated

13/09/2025: A culinary stroke of luck in the alleys of Licata By a stroke of luck, our search for a good restaurant in the winding alleys of Licata led us to Pepe and Chiara's. We almost didn't get in, as there was a slight misunderstanding with the charming chef, Pepe, at the door – fortunately, everything was quickly and cordially resolved. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a maximum of 20 seats and a lovingly decorated atmosphere that perfectly matches Pepe's creative cuisine. Chiara welcomes guests with a warm, pleasant manner, which further enriches the visit. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu – we opted for the 4-course menu, accompanied by an excellent red Syrah. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. The prices may be high, but the quality and professionalism are well worth it. In the end, we were completely satisfied.

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

15/01/2026: The appetizers are excellent, including the white tripe and tripe in tomato sauce, and the cuddriruni (a kind of pasta) you absolutely must try. The pizzas are delicious. Friendly staff, good service, and fair prices.

21/09/2025: Nice location on the steps by the church. In the shade even at high noon. Food was simple but good. Definitely a worthy stop while visiting around.

13/08/2025: I went on a Saturday night with local friends, and they only had the morning hot food. I wonder why they don't make other dishes on Saturdays, perhaps to clean the counter and avoid waste, but it doesn't seem like the right formula for someone wanting to dine on a Saturday night.

11/09/2025: Don't go there as a tourist! Since there are no prices indicated upfront, they can easily scam you with a overpriced bill with no details. Food is cold, greasy, and served in plastic plates. At the end, it cost more than any decent restaurant. You should pass your way

20/08/2025: The food is good and the service is excellent. It has a small seating area with three tables, but it's a great stop on the road where you can eat well.

18/12/2025: We went to Mela Mangio da Paolo pizzeria, four adults and one child, and we can say without a doubt that it was an extraordinary experience. The pizza was truly spectacular: light dough, quality ingredients, and balanced flavors that captivate you from the first bite. But not just pizza: the dishes were nothing short of spectacular, meticulously crafted and truly delicious. You can immediately sense the passion and attention that Paolo and his staff put into their cooking. We ate truly deliciously, in a welcoming and pleasant environment, perfect for families with children. We all left feeling extremely satisfied, smiling and eager to return soon. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, flavor, and a genuine atmosphere. Congratulations! 🍕👏

30/11/2025: A welcoming, quiet pizzeria, the pizzas are delicious and the appetizers too, everything is plentiful, the service is excellent and kind. I recommend going there.

02/01/2026: The service was friendly and the place was nice, but the food was beyond praise. I found a small pebble in my nigiri rice and nearly broke a tooth. The soy sauce was bland (maybe mixed with water?), and the fish was completely flavorless.

15/12/2025: I had dinner in this beautiful and good restaurant but with very poor hygiene. The bathrooms were disgusting, the floor in the dining room was very dirty, the glasses stank, we were 3 adults, after 15 courses they stopped the order, then some gentlemen came in with a huge dog that I suddenly found next to me and I was really scared and then the dog in the dining room made me so disgusted, we got up and went, we paid 100 euros in vain and we went home hungry anyway, terrible experience, I will never go back there again and I don't recommend it for anything.

18/07/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was poor quality, and even more disappointing was the rude and unprofessional attitude of the girl taking orders. I understand that the job can be stressful, but a minimum amount of courtesy towards customers should be expected. I don't recommend it.

10/12/2025: Tonight we ordered almost €40 worth of things. I asked: is everything there? The answer: yes. I'm going to trust you, I'm leaving. I was missing the large fries, almost €4, in the package; the nuggets were supposed to be 9 but instead there were 7. The sauces were wrong. No, that's not the way it works, I even tried calling. I left messages, I hope they listen.

09/12/2025: After months of not going, we were "craving ice cream," San Leone was all closed, so where were you going? McDonald's. We order, and I must say it all went pretty quickly. They give us our food, we sit down at the table, and we start eating... I had a Bacio MC Flurry. 4 euros. It was only half full. Same amount as a McSunday but paid more. Ah. The ice cream inside had a barely perceptible taste of low-fat cocoa... I ask for a change, saying I know it's a bit of chopped hazelnuts or something similar. If I order Bacio, I expect something similar to a chocolate ice cream with some chopped hazelnuts or something... hmm, instead, it's a pale chocolate with a bit of chocolate topping. They tell me that's how they make it. At most, they'll make another one. I say if it's the same, nothing changes... I leave it at the counter and leave, saying you can throw it away. I go back to the table and my son, who had a strawberry milkshake, tells me he's going to throw up with the milkshake. I tell him not to overdo it, it'll be good. He insists, no, dad, I don't want it. I look at that milkshake and it was very pale. There was no strawberry in it. I go to the cashier, same thing, they tell me, let's make it again. I ask, "Is it the same as this?" The embarrassed cashier says no. I say, "Okay." They make it again, I open it in front of the girl and say, "It's the same thing." A white milkshake with another strawberry milkshake around it, still very pale. I bring it to my son, who, as soon as he sees it, without tasting it, starts vomiting. As usual, I said, "Okay, I overdid it." And I try it too. I tasted the strawberry part, which obviously didn't taste like strawberry, but instead left a taste in my mouth that I can't define. Flavorless, bitter, and it makes me want to throw up. I'm not saying this to praise this review, but it really is like that. I haven't had a milkshake in years... I remember it was all pink, now it was white. But why has it changed so much? They've tightened this product so much, probably because of the price, that strawberries are barely visible anymore, but the prices are still high. Low-class slop just to make money. And it makes me angry that people always go there, it's packed, but now people's palates have gone to hell. I gave two stars for the cake, which, yes, was frozen, but at least it tasted like something. The staff was friendly, from what we exchanged, but the food was a disaster. Cleanliness is almost nonexistent; there's someone who comes by every now and then, licks it with a piece of crap, lightly, and leaves. The table is still sticky. It's probably one of the usual negative comments that will find its time. But they really should take a good look at what they're giving us. It's not a small amount of money, so they should at least give us a little something. The photo is completely misleading with the actual product they give you. They might close down. I feel sorry for the people who work there, who rightly have their own life plans. But this store 👎.
