21/10/2024: “Inedible pinsa and disappointing service” We dined with 9 people and ordered 3 pinsas at €15 each. The waitress informed us there were no fresh tomatoes, but she could replace them with dried tomatoes. We agreed, but the pinsa were soaked in oil, with too many overly salty dried tomatoes, cheese, and ham. There was no tomato sauce at all, which we expected. It was heavy and inedible, and we couldn't finish. Despite our complaints, the waitress only deducted one pinsa, stating she had warned us. Also, some toasts were charged at a higher price than advertised. 04/10/2024: Wij bestelden 1 glas witte huiswijn en 1 flesje lokaal bier. Volgens de menukaart €9,-. Bij het afrekenen moest ik €12,65 betalen, waarop ik vroeg of ze misschien een fout had gemaakt. Nee, de €3,65 zijn servicekosten! Nu ben ik al twee weken op Sicilië en in elk restaurant waar wij gaan eten betalen we servicekosten, maar nooit eerder heb ik service kosten bij twee drankjes hoeven te betalen. Was de dame gastvrij en aardig, dan had ik het nog voor lief genomen, maar ze was chagrijnig en ver van gastvrij. Hopelijk had ze haar dag niet en is ze morgen weer vrolijk, maar ons ziet ze niet meer.

27/01/2025: Typical restaurant located in the center, very friendly and attentive service, good food and lots of choice, I recommend!!!! They also have an ice cream shop where you can absolutely try their brioscia with ice cream and the delicious mulberry granita!!!

26/12/2024: Davvero una piacevole scoperta in uno dei vicoletti di via Roma. Pietanze abbondanti e davvero saporite ad un prezzo normale. Tornerò nella prossima vacanza!

04/11/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo affascinante ristorante il cui affaccio sul mar mediterraneo è intervallato dalle dolci colline con le verdi vigne senza soluzione di continuità fino all’orizzonte. Il sapiente e competente sommelier Dragos ti abbina i vini che meglio aderiscono organoletticamente al cibo che vai a degustare. La brigata opera in cucina in perfetta armonia ed elabora piatti sintesi di tradizione locale ed innovazione creativa. Cialde di melanzane con gelato di provola ragusana; tartare di seppia nel suo guazzetto; crostino con la galletta al nero di seppia e mousse dei suoi fegatini ; l’umile merluzzo nobilitato dal caviale. Insomma grande armonia e sobrio stile Planeta in ogni oggetto ed in ogni scenografia. Ho messo 4 pallini perché quella sera lo chef Angelo Pumilia era assente, perché i piatti mi sono stati descritti in modo superficiale e perché c’era poca luce sui piatti. Ritorneremo.

11/10/2024: We enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Foresteria - food and service were very good. Between the four of us we enjoyed some lovely pasta dishes (spaghetti with scallops or with sardines), the cuttlefish starter (Seppia) and a lovely lamb main course which had a very tasty kofta on the side (Declination D'Agnello). The wine list was one of the most comprehensive I have come across and showcased the many wines that Planeta produce - we enjoyed a bottle of the Santa Cecilia Nero d"Avola which was fabulous and probably the most enjoyable wine we tasted whilst in Sicily. We shared a couple of the desserts, being the lemon meringue and honey ice cream, which were ok but not quite to our taste. They were also expensive at 20 euros per dish. Service was good - professional and helpful but could have been a little more friendly. The bill came to 386 euros (including service) which was the most expensive dinner we had during our nine days on the island so a lovely meal but it is expensive and you will find better value elsewhere.

04/01/2025: Devo dire piatti ottimi , sono due anni che vengo in vacanza in Lampedusa e non mancherà sicuramente la terza . Oltre i pasti fatti in barca credo che sia per ora il miglior ristorante provato fra 5:6 locali .

29/10/2024: Difficoltà a trovare parcheggio fuori, abbiamo atteso circa mezz’ora prima dii sederci (eravamo nel secondo turno). Cibo vario, buona qualità. Prezzi nellla norma.

04/01/2025: Sorry but truly unworthy, just looking at it aroused desperation. Every time I get takeaway here the pizzas get smaller and thinner and thinner. Luckily I had a cola to wash it down.

09/10/2024: The food was very good. They have the best pinkies in town. At lunch we found a great variety of dishes, trying the first and second courses with fish, we were able to see that everything is fresh and prepared on the same day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

09/10/2024: Staying in this place is like feeling at home. Excellent service, excellent and fresh food. From breakfast to the diner, to the restaurant, nothing to say other than excellent. Few places with these fresh products, prepared every day.

02/03/2025: It's too expensive. A pizza €11 seems really too much to me (among other things sausage and potatoes), €2 for the delivery cost. The pizza is good but absolutely not worth it.

21/02/2025: Excellent pizzeria in Sciacca in via Cappuccini. The pizza is very good, personally a discovery compared to my habits. Excellent quality of the ingredients and zero thirst after the pizza. Take-away pizzeria but it is possible to have a table in a not very romantic environment but great service and cleanliness. I recommend trying this very good pizza.

12/01/2025: I ate an excellent pizza, well cooked, crunchy and full of toppings. Soft and light dough to digest. Very kind staff. I recommend it for an evening with friends or family.

24/03/2025: Locale sempre piacevole. Coppia di amici ospiti e prenoto per cena durante il Mandorlo in fiore. Servizio andato proprio in tilt. Ci cambiamo di tavolo e inizialmente riciclano le tovagliette già bagnate ridandoele a casaccio. Lo faccio notare e il totolare stesso le porta nuove. Tavolo piccolo con antipasti a centro e portano le seconde portate. Le teniamo tanto le avrebbero portate in cucina ,riscaldate e riportate! Tempi lunghi per servire la seconda bottiglia di vino ordinata a 4 camerieri . Mentre stavo ancora mangiando(tenevo in mano un triangolo di focaccia) ,una zelante cameriera mi toglie il piatto da davanti e così le ho anche dato la focaccia . Troppe pecche nel servizio nettamente peggiorato . Peccato. Grazie per il caffè offerto

20/03/2025: Pessima esperienza: sono ad Agrigento per lavoro e, consigliato da un caro parente di Raffadali, vado lì per un aperitivo con altre due persone, il dehor era quasi vuoto e, visto il freddo, ci sediamo in un tavolo per 6 posto in posizione più riscaldata, un cameriere immediatamente ci dice di spostarci in un tavolo più piccolo, ma molto più esposto al freddo, una volta spostati ci lascia i menù e si dimentica completamente di noi, intanto nel tavolo da 6 si siedono due persone e lo stesso cameriere, senza alcun problema, li serve. Ovviamente, non ancora preso neanche l'ordine da nessuno nonostante la nostra richiesta, ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via. Magari i titolari neanche sanno l'accaduto e questo commento è per segnalare il fatto.
