20/09/2025: The Lido is absolutely worth visiting. A wonderful Argentinian gent runs the small food and equipment kiosk. Two beds and an umbrella for just 10 Euros. The beach is so peaceful and the water is shallow and a nice temp.

06/10/2025: We stopped one evening for pizza, drawn in by the tables the night before; it looked good. And we were right; the pizza was very good. I had the one with truffle mushrooms; I would have had another! The dough was well-made, it wasn't heavy, and we weren't thirsty afterward. The waiter was a real genius; he was very helpful, welcoming, and kind. Recommended.

10/03/2026: I came to eat last night with my wife, and I think it was the worst experience of my life. I ordered two mushroom pizzas, terrible dough, poor-tasting mozzarella, and flavorless mushrooms. Basically, two terrible pizzas, not to mention the scandalous and incompetent staff. Inside, the restaurant has poorly maintained walls and a terrible ceiling, and outside there's not even a single space for a vehicle. In short, if you don't want to be disappointed, go to another pizzeria.

30/09/2025: Easter Lunch This is our first time discovering this place by chance. The food could be better, it's a bit '80s-style—the pasta should be cooked more al dente, the rice with fish should be cooked without cream, and perhaps more sophisticated desserts. But the place is worth the missing stars! Beautiful. The welcome and service are like those of a fine restaurant. We'll be back many times!

15/03/2026: On Sunday, March 8th, we went to this restaurant for lunch. We chose the all-you-can-eat option. At 1:30 PM, they brought us appetizers, then no waiter came to our table. After we asked, at 3:30 PM, they brought us the meat. Two hours is a bit excessive. We chose two menus for €35 and one for €45. A lamb chop, a pork chop, a piece of sausage, a spring onion with pancetta for the €35 menu, and a 300g sliced ​​steak for the €45 menu. There was no sign of an all-you-can-eat option.

16/12/2025: Il Carretto confirms itself as an excellent pizzeria, offering an overall very positive experience. The quality of the pizzas is high, with well-crafted dough, balanced cooking, and authentic ingredients that make the end result truly appreciable. The atmosphere is also welcoming and refined, ideal for both a casual evening and a dinner with friends. The only thing that leads me to give the service four stars concerns a few small oversights. When ordering pizzas, two were requested, but only one initially arrived, necessitating an additional wait. Furthermore, for the appetizer, I had requested a mix of fries and potato croquettes, a request that created some confusion. To speed up the order, I ordered one portion of fries and one of croquettes separately; perhaps mixing them would have been complicated. (I don't know.) These are, however, details that could be improved, but they don't detract from the overall quality of the place. Il Carretto remains a go-to place for those seeking good pizza and a pleasant atmosphere, with plenty of scope for excellence in service as well.
