12/10/2025: We arrived there by chance, but what a joy, a typical, home-cooked restaurant. The staff and owner were super friendly. The owner let us taste the bread dipped in salted oil and the homemade piperade. We found ourselves chatting with two other couples on the terrace. It was a great evening.

16/10/2025: Food was excellent with generous portions, fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. Proprietor was welcoming and very friendly and took the time to explain the dishes and translate menu items into English. We had the eggplant Mille-feuille as an appetizer, beef ragu with bigoli pasta and veal filet with porcini mushrooms. For dessert, their tiramisu with chocolate- thick and creamy and delicious.

25/10/2025: A top rotisserie and focacceria for enjoying traditional Sicilian street food, everything is freshly prepared. We ordered pane cunzatu, arancini (both classic ones with ragù and prosciutto), pane e panelle (bread and panelle), and two cassatelle. Everything was spectacular and tasted like it was made by a grandmother at home. Authentic flavors and very fair prices, the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.
23/10/2025: Amazing stop in Sciacca on the way to Agrigento. The best arancina, panino porchetta, and cunzatu. Yum!

07/11/2025: A very beautiful, modern place with a charming atmosphere. In a small village, you wouldn't expect to find a truly city-like place. The pizza is excellent, with the aroma of ancient grains and the highest quality ingredients selected for each dish. The owners and wait staff are courteous and attentive. Highly recommended.

23/10/2025: We came here especially for my birthday but it was a bit disappointing, unfortunately. We were the only people in the restaurant but the chef never came out and the staff didn’t speak English well which made things difficult. The food was good but not fantastic, as you’d expect. Not sure why; but they initially tried to convince me to get a ‘custom’ dish combination (without explaining the cost, since this option was not on the menu). When I refused and chose my a la carte option, they became a bit edgy and awkward, so the situation made me feel uncomfortable. Overall not what you’d expect for two stars.

21/10/2025: I'm honestly not sure why the Google Map ratings are so high for this place, or why it was recommended by our lodging host. It was one of my least favorite restaurants on our visit to Italy, the food was average - at best. They made a big deal about their squid ink bread sticks, but I found that mine were moldy, yuk. My entree of mackerel was just OK, rather small and not exceptional, the sauces had no particular flavor. My husband liked the sea bream he ordered. The clientele is all visitors, no residents. I'm sure there are better options in Agrigento.

Good tuna tartare. The beef fillet was tender. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was flavorful, featuring porcini mushrooms, which is unusual.

10/11/2025: Loved this place! Have been there half a dozen times over the past two weeks. Amazing prices, great taste, friendly couple running it. Often a line, but it goes fast, and an extra bit of wait is worth it.
Most people get their sandwiches to go, but some regulars stand inside to chow down.

24/10/2025: A centrally located restaurant with a refined atmosphere. The staff is extremely professional and attentive, always friendly without being intrusive. The food is truly excellent: beautifully presented dishes, fresh ingredients, and balanced flavors. The only small flaw is the menu, which remains relatively unchanged over time and offers limited choices, especially when it comes to desserts. It would be nice to see something new every now and then.

07/10/2025: Absolutely delicious pizzas served in a brand newly decorated room. very generous pizza (one of the best I had with mortadella). If you don’t finish your pizza you can take it away. Service was Quick and efficient. They have a high chair for kids !
