Do you give 5 stars to the best structure where you have been and the others lower or do you give 5 stars if you had a good time inevitably flattening with a lot of 5 stars? I lean towards the second. We have been coming to Sardinia with our motorbikes for 10 years. Every now and then we change. We come for the curves. For the smells. For the little traffic. The hotel? It's a side dish. "Sa tanchitta" has a lot of space and passionate staff. Are they perfect? ​​No. Are the rooms 5 stars? No. But they have air conditioning and are well kept. They give you a lot of towels, are some not perfect? ​​You don't use them. It's a farmhouse, not the Hilton. It's quiet and silent. Clean enough. And honestly, that's fine. The managers are passionate and always available. We had asked for boxes and they found them right away. The dinner is varied and changes every day. Breakfast is simple and honest. Do you want anything else? Go to the coast or not come to Sardinia at all. Emilia Romagna is perfect but it doesn’t give you anything of what Sardinia does. Sardinia is like this. Rural. Simple. Wonderful. We will be back…

22/06/2025: We had dinner at Cantinedda with the idea of ​​eating only a simple second course and so we ordered three meat second courses that instead surprised us for the high quality of the product, excellent cooking method, beautiful presentation. Finally the owner very welcoming, kind, attentive and thoughtful. Fast and impeccable service. The menu prices are in line or slightly lower than average. Congratulations, keep it up

19/06/2025: Great location, shame the service was miserable. An older woman met us and her disposition was just aggressive and unfriendly. Like she didn't want us there. We asked to have aperitivo. After she angrily demanded what drink we wanted she gave us two crodinos for €3.50 each and then offered no snacks or anything at all. Unheard of in Sardinia. It's custom to accompany aperitivo drinks with crisps or olives or nuts, or even just pane carasau (my fiancé is Sardinian and she was embarrassed by what we experienced). We downed our drinks at the bar and left immediately. Please don't go here and have your impression of Sardinian hospitality soured . There are other much more deserving places out there. We visited on Monday 16th June 2025. Atmosphere was non existent as they had no other customers, made sense in the end thanks to the wicked witch of Cantinedda.

22/04/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante per il pranzo di Pasquetta e non posso che dire: wow! Il menù prevedeva sei portate, più il dolce e un aperitivo di benvenuto. Ogni piatto era una vera sorpresa, curatissimo nella presentazione e delizioso al palato. Ammetto di essere piuttosto viziata e selettiva con il cibo, spesso finisco per non mangiare quasi nulla… ma stavolta ho voluto assaggiare tutto. E ne è valsa assolutamente la pena. Ogni piatto mi ha lasciata senza parole. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: i camerieri non solo erano gentilissimi, ma ad ogni portata ci spiegavano con precisione cosa stavamo per gustare, dimostrando una grande preparazione e attenzione al cliente. Lo consiglio davvero e tornerò sicuramente!

28/04/2025: Insalata di polpo impregnata di accetto per nascondere il sapore, non buono, durissimo, 2 semplici birre Ichnusa 0,66 € 9,00, ad Arborea, mi dispiace ma secondo me questo è rubare, mai più, non aggiungo altro per non offendere.

11/06/2025: Coming back from a long motorbike ride, yesterday for the first time I stopped to eat a tagliata at the Ranch, I didn't like it, not for the goodness of the meat, but for a strong aftertaste of butter used in cooking and for the flakes of cheese melted on the grill, good baked potatoes. In any case it's great to find places like this, the small village of Baradili is beautiful and lively, next time a grilled steak. Greetings
