16/02/2026: Aunt Marianna is a part of my childhood memories... it was a dairy where we'd go every evening to get fresh milk. Nowadays, you can buy milk, cheese, and many other delicious things, but you can also stop to sample traditional Nuoro dishes that are hard to find in restaurants. Today I ate a savory casadina, and it would be a real shame not to try it!

29/03/2026: One of the few good quality hotels at still reasonable prices. With half board, you can eat really well, both in the restaurant and in the pizzeria.

25/09/2025: A very nice location just steps from Sa Pedra Ruja beach. Service is fast and the staff are friendly. Excellent seafood, well-cooked. The price is too high. €45 per person for three appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts...a bottle of house wine, one still water, and one sparkling water. Honestly, it seems a bit too much.

05/10/2025: A bad experience all around: We were there on a Sunday evening in early October. There were few customers. The seafood appetizer was okay, nothing special, but a good portion. Then my main course arrived. I assumed it was the wrong dish and asked the waitress about it. She didn't understand me, so I asked her to bring the menu again. Another, young waiter who spoke English came over. I explained to him that it was the wrong dish, and he asked me who we had ordered from. I said it was an older gentleman. I suspect he was the head waiter. The young waiter went over and told him the wrong order. I could see from a distance that he was visibly annoyed. Then my partner's meal arrived 10 minutes later, and it was already cold. My new meal arrived 15 minutes later. So we had to eat separately. The portion was very small. Not even a kind word from the head waiter. Simply embarrassing. The food itself was plain, but extremely expensive. To be fair, the seafood pasta, which was only available for two or more people, looked much better. Conclusion: A total rip-off. There are much better options.

02/10/2025: We wanted to put 2 tables together because the table for 4 was in the aisle and in the wind. We were told that it wasn't because of the table number. We were ignored and not served. We then left. The waiters were still grinning. Yes, that was the last time we had a wonderful lunch by the sea in Orosei in the Lungomare. It was excellent. Well, the Corallo has at least 4 guests less.

07/10/2025: Being perfectly in rhythm, and in a delicious way! This is the feeling I felt when I walked through the doors of Smile for lunch. The convenience of having not only reserved a table but also ordered the dishes, indicating the arrival time, allowed us to have lunch right away, without any rush, despite having little time to dedicate to the meal. We enjoyed a specialty, a meat main course, and a delicious and incredibly satisfying side dish! Plus, the service was impeccable and welcoming! What can I say? I'll definitely be back for lunch at Smile in the future, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

28/07/2025: We stopped in with the family, passing through for a quick bite. We had some sandwiches, which were very good; I especially recommend the octopus one, served with excellent warm bread. Fast service. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it.

29/03/2026: The good tables in the restaurant weren't even offered to us, even though there weren't any other guests yet. "Well," I thought, "since we hadn't made a reservation, the good tables must be reserved." But they weren't. So I felt like a second-class customer in the waiting area. Because when we left at 9:15 p.m., the tables in the restaurant where we would have liked to sit were still empty. Now, about the food. We ordered grilled fish and grilled calamari. When the food arrived, there was no sign of grilling on either the fish or the calamari. Only the tomato salad we ordered was okay. In short: This is no way to treat guests. We were absolutely disappointed.

29/03/2026: I chose this restaurant to eat fish. The appetizer was fried shrimp with a dip – that was okay. The sea bream was supposed to be grilled, but it was actually deep-fried...and rather bland. The tomato salad was tasty. The main dining area was empty; all the tables were free. However, we were given a table in the rather uninviting front room, and no other guests arrived. The price-performance ratio is not right.

10/02/2026: I should start by saying that we had to book this restaurant by email because they never answer the phone because "we're always full of calls and reservations" (from what I'm seeing this evening—Sunday evening—it doesn't look like it to me; there are many empty tables and I didn't see the head waiter constantly on the phone). We finally managed to book and showed up at the restaurant a quarter of an hour early. Our orders were taken twenty minutes later; in those twenty minutes, despite having attracted the waitress's attention, the orders of a huge table that had been seated before us were taken. The waitress finally arrived and told us that there was a half-hour wait for the pizzas and that if we wanted, we could order appetizers while the pizzas arrived. She brought us a fairly good seafood salad (although we had to share it, she wasn't even kind enough to bring small plates). The pizzas arrived (half an hour later than expected) and were good, but nothing special. Honestly, I've had better in Orosei. At the end of dinner, we try to attract attention by asking for coffee, but we aren't paid the same attention we were at the beginning. We finally approach a waiter and ask for the bill and the coffees, and the bill arrives first. We go to pay, and the coffees arrive... Three words: disorganized, inattentive, and mediocre food.

05/05/2025: On a short vacation... in Siniscola, my unforgettable homeland, deliberately incognito, to enjoy an excellent pastry shop and an equally excellent breakfast, and, a Service accompanied by hospitality and professionalism, and, by a spontaneous Smile! I would be considered biased... that's why we remained incognito!!! On our return, which I hope will be soon, we will enjoy more calmly, products of visual excellence and equally excellent delicacy!!!

16/10/2025: Unfortunately, the steak, ordered medium-well, only saw the grill briefly from a distance. At least the side dishes were delivered upon request.

14/10/2025: Stopped in for lunch by chance with my girlfriend, and it couldn't have been a better choice. We ordered two plates of Sardinian kebab with potatoes. It was truly delicious; it was the first time I'd ever eaten it, so it's probably a dish they invented. The homemade sauces were also excellent. The waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere, including the music, was truly relaxing.
