12/04/2026: I came with my husband with the intention of having ice cream after our meal, along with a nice little coffee. And honestly, I'm almost disappointed I didn't go more often! 🤭 Seriously, it was simply wonderful, the best ice cream I had during my entire stay. We chose (and were recommended 😉) hazelnut, pistachio, tiramisu, and Kinder. The pistachio, in my opinion, was the best; it was incredibly delicious, with such a true and authentic flavor. And on top of that, the portions are generous—that's the icing on the cake! 🍰🍒👌 I highly recommend going!

10/04/2026: We stopped for lunch and had pasta - a large enough portion, well seasoned, a little too oily for my taste. For dessert we tried tiramisu, which didn't appeal to us much, it felt more like ice cream. The atmosphere was a bit disturbed by the renovation of the building next door, but once the work is finished, I believe it will be a wonderful experience to sit in this cafe.

29/11/2025: First experience. Truly VERY POSITIVE! It's a shame they can only give it 5 stars... actually, it deserves 10! Beautiful location, beautifully maintained outdoor spaces, well-structured and welcoming interior, exquisite house appetizer (mozzarella knots, peperonata, seafood salad, mixed fried foods, battered vegetables, parmigiana, and excellent sliced ​​bread). Orecchiette with mushrooms and seafood scialatielli were truly rich in flavor (and seasoning!). Excellent mixed roast. Tarts with a warm chocolate center, truffle, and lemon ice cream: EXCELLENT! 🤤 The staff was truly sooooo kind and knowledgeable. Kudos to the chef, who truly delighted us with his dishes, rich in flavor and taste! 😋 This will be one of the places I will absolutely recommend to all my customers 🙂 Aromas and flavors 💯

11/04/2026: Location 2/5 Small inside, there's some outdoor seating on the sidewalk. A hedge divides the street, but the experience isn't the best: cars constantly drive past the tables, and there's no heating, making it uncomfortable, especially on cooler evenings. Food 4/5: Overall, good food. The pizza was well-risen and enjoyable, but the chips arrived cold, a detail that detracted from the experience. Overall, good. Service 1/5: Terrible experience. We waited over an hour and a half for our pizzas, which was absolutely unacceptable. The staff gave no communication or explanation for the delay. The service was truly disappointing and unprofessional. Absolutely not worth it. From an experience like this, I expected at least an apology. Average 2/5: Overall, poor experience. The service was very slow, with excessive wait times and little attention to the customer. The place is small, and the outdoor seating on the sidewalk is uncomfortable, partly due to the constant traffic and the lack of heating. The food is the best part: the pizza is well-risen, although some details could be improved. Overall, the experience was below expectations. Failed

20/03/2026: We went to the cinema in Nardo and afterward we were craving pizza, so we went to this place, convinced by the many positive reviews. But I have to say we were completely disappointed, both with the place and the pizzas. Perhaps because, given the reviews, we were expecting something different, the pizzas were barely okay.

04/01/2026: We had a very good lunch: paccheri with lobster, fried fish, mixed fried fish, and linguine with squid ink. I recommend booking and getting a table in the corner, so you have a beautiful view of the sea. 🌊 The staff was very friendly and happy, even though the place was full. In the summer, with the veranda open, I imagine it would be spectacular (we were there in January). Compliments to all the staff. 👍

31/12/2025: We arrived at this restaurant after a fantastic winter hike in the "palude de capitane," attracted by its strategic location directly on the beach. The location is indeed beautiful, and the dining room is completely glassed-in, offering a pleasant and relaxing view. The staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations, perhaps because it's out of season. The shrimp rice was overcooked, and the octopus alla piñata seemed reheated. Wine by the glass wasn't available, but that, too, may be because it's out of season. The price was reasonable. Perhaps we could try again in a more favorable season...

17/03/2026: A beautiful property that shows the owners' love for what they do. And what they make are special wines. I love Susumaniello rosé, so I recommend Antiero: fantastic!

05/03/2026: I haven't visited the entire winery, but I know some of their wines and really enjoyed them. I saw a wide selection of bottled and packaged wines, but you can also buy bulk wine at great prices.

20/04/2026: Absolutely perfect. Exceptional Sunday lunch. The first course (spaghettone with sea urchins) was excellent and plentiful, and the mixed fried fish was delicious. We'll be back ❤️

19/04/2026: We had a great time. It's our first time in San Isidoro. We had lunch practically on the waterfront. The dishes were excellent, reasonably priced, and the flavors were incredible. We were truly satisfied. The spaghetti with sea urchins was truly exquisite. The beautiful weather made the lunch a success. The staff were helpful and courteous. There was a bit of a wait between the appetizer and the main course, but that's to be expected on a Sunday when it's crowded. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. Reservations are essential.

03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. This is my third visit, and each time it lives up to my expectations... or rather, exceeds them! The location is simply perfect, with meticulous attention to detail and an authentic atmosphere that immediately immerses you in tradition. The food is exceptional: traditional dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients, authentic flavors that express Salento in every course. The service is always attentive and friendly, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. Everything here is perfect: from the welcome to the quality of the dishes, to the ambience. I will definitely return again and recommend it to everyone.

16/02/2026: We chose this trattoria to spend Valentine's Day with a group of friends, and I must say it's a beautiful and delicious trattoria in the center of town. It's tastefully decorated, the service excellent, and the menu is very inviting, offering a wide variety of unique dishes from our Salento cuisine, revisited and beautifully presented. Above all, we tried the various appetizers, from the excellent cheese platter to the vegetables and typical dishes cooked according to Salento culinary traditions, including delicious "pittule Salentine," homemade potato croquettes, special fried meatballs, and delicious first and second courses—all of which allowed us to sample a variety of delicacies. I must say that all the dishes we chose were of excellent quality, both in terms of the use of high-quality and fresh ingredients, the excellent selection of wines, and finally, a delicious dessert. A key aspect of this trattoria is that the kitchen is on the first floor, thus separate from the lunch and dinner area. This ensures that the downstairs dining room, where service takes place, is clean and free of kitchen odors. Therefore, you can leave after lunch or dinner without getting your clothes smelly. This is a key aspect of this place. I highly recommend it.

09/10/2025: Dinner in this lovely setting. Service was quick, but the staff were unfriendly, almost annoyed by our presence. They served a variety of Salento dishes, but nothing special. The octopus meatballs were highly recommended.
