In the heart of Nardò's historic center lies this delightful little traditional Salento restaurant, which has become a firm favourite with me. This is my third visit, and each time it lives up to my expectations... or rather, exceeds them!
The location is simply perfect, with meticulous attention to detail and an authentic atmosphere that immediately immerses you in tradition. The food is exceptional: traditional dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients, authentic flavors that express Salento in every course.
The service is always attentive and friendly, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. Everything here is perfect: from the welcome to the quality of the dishes, to the ambience.
I will definitely return again and recommend it to everyone.

We chose this trattoria to spend Valentine's Day with a group of friends, and I must say it's a beautiful and delicious trattoria in the center of town. It's tastefully decorated, the service excellent, and the menu is very inviting, offering a wide variety of unique dishes from our Salento cuisine, revisited and beautifully presented. Above all, we tried the various appetizers, from the excellent cheese platter to the vegetables and typical dishes cooked according to Salento culinary traditions, including delicious "pittule Salentine," homemade potato croquettes, special fried meatballs, and delicious first and second courses—all of which allowed us to sample a variety of delicacies. I must say that all the dishes we chose were of excellent quality, both in terms of the use of high-quality and fresh ingredients, the excellent selection of wines, and finally, a delicious dessert.
A key aspect of this trattoria is that the kitchen is on the first floor, thus separate from the lunch and dinner area. This ensures that the downstairs dining room, where service takes place, is clean and free of kitchen odors. Therefore, you can leave after lunch or dinner without getting your clothes smelly. This is a key aspect of this place.

In the historic center of Nardo, a trattoria from another era, clean and well-organized. The dishes are prepared with excellent quality ingredients and the prices are average. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We hadn't booked and were just passing through, but the very kind owner accommodated us anyway and finally offered us some homemade almond paste sweets—sublime, to say the least. Try it and believe it.

Highly recommended. Homemade bread and pasta made with Tumminia wheat. Wood-fired dishes. Try the onion stew!
