22/06/2025: Review made after three visits, two of which were 6 years apart. Excellent trattoria in the historic center of Nardò. I tried many of the dishes offered on the menu and found each one exquisite. I recommend the octopus meatballs and the cavatelli mussels and beans. The atmosphere is rustic but well-kept. If you sit on the terrace there is a high probability that a local kitten will stop by to visit you; there is a colony that seems to particularly love this place. The service is reasonably fast and the staff is extremely welcoming. A ritual stop for every time I am lucky enough to visit Salento.

18/06/2025: We were there six years ago and we returned this year for two more times! Always everything delicious, high quality cuisine and ingredients. For those in the Nardò/Porto Cesareo area it is an absolutely recommended stop for a good first course that is meat or fish. We also really appreciated the second courses and appetizers (not to mention the wine!). We will definitely return as soon as we have the chance!

15/07/2025: Nice place, on the sea. Elegant style and attentive, precise service. As in previous reviews, beware of the waiters, they try to sell you money... The food is a sore point. Unfortunately, the fried food is full of oil and tasteless, and spaghetti with clams, let alone flavorless, but with lots of sand! My bill was €70 for a caprese salad, spaghetti with clams, and a fried dish. Bad, bad.

07/07/2025: A place with a truly picturesque sea view and a relaxing atmosphere, you can enjoy excellent breakfasts (special cream croissants and for the little ones the pan di stelle ones). I also want to mention Barbara, the bartender, who welcomed us with a smile, kindness and a cheerfulness that is not easily found around. It is difficult to meet someone who does this kind of job at 7 in the morning happily humming the tunes that are on the radio! It instills a good mood. After seeing some photos we will also go for an aperitif at sunset... Last but not least the structure in general and the bathrooms are very clean. Highly recommended!

13/07/2025: I was there yesterday for the first time, the location is beautiful and welcoming, everything was delicious, the guys were really very kind and polite and always smiling and above all nice, we will definitely be back 🥰

26/12/2024: Very kind staff welcomed us with a smile. clean and warm environment pleasant musical background. we took a platter of excellent quality cold cuts and cheeses and 2 Aperol spritzes. I highly recommend this place to spend an hour of pure relaxation

18/06/2025: Very well-kept and characteristic place in the historic center of Nardò where I often return to eat, always with pleasure, the stuffed pucce. The special puccia is my favorite: very tender horse meat and without waste. Friendly and hospitable staff

23/05/2025: Pucce made with fresh and top quality products. I recommend going during the week for a faster service and to avoid queues inside the restaurant.

24/03/2025: Rosticceria C'è pizza per te (corner place run by two guys): We took a half pizza to take away folded in two with mayonnaise but the dough was very hard, the edges almost inedible and after a few bites we threw it away. Clear sign that it had not been made that day but reheated from the previous days.

08/06/2025: Conosco questa masseria da quando si producevano solo latticini ,la ristorazione non esisteva e la presenza degli animali si avvertiva olfattivamente.Adesso tutto è cambiato.Tutto è ben organizzato e l'atmosfera ,ovattatamente agreste ,è esaltata da suggestive lucine a decoro della vegetazione...eppure non mi convince a pieno! In generale le porzioni le trovo striminzite(la parmigiana proposta come primo piatto non può essere "versione francobollo",anche se molto gentilmente e generosamente ,a fronte delle mie rimostranze, dalla cucina ne è arrivata una seconda porzione offerta dalla casa). La cottura dei"turcinieddi" non dovrebbe ridurli a dei tizzoncini.Le oecchiette al pomodoro gradevoli e la grigliata di carne ottima.Questa volta il tagliere dei formaggi non l'ho preso ma generalmente è mediamente buono. Ragazzi ,per quel che mi riguarda,qualche passetto in più nelle porzioni e nella cottura e raggiungiamo un buon livello.

09/06/2025: Agriturismo Torre del cardo è ormai una nostra tappa fissa da più di 10 anni tutte le volte che veniamo nel Salento. Premetto che ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo sia per il mangiare che per la gentilezza di tutto il personale. Ma, ieri sera…. Delusione. Fino all’anno scorso,nel menù vi era la possibilità di scegliere vari menù che comprendevano una degustazione di vari tipi di antipasti dove si potevano degustare tutti i sapori tipici salentini, in più si poteva scegliere un primo o secondo oppure tutte le portate come menù completo o ridotto.Ora per una scelta da noi non condivisa tutto questo è sparito. Scegli i vari piatti da un menù, limitando la possibilità di degustare varie portate. Questa scelta aziendale da quanto ho potuto sentire non è stata gradita anche da altri commensali vicino al nostro tavolo. Questa mia recensione vuole essere una critica costruttiva in quanto la location è la vostra gentilezza e professionalità non ha prezzo. La qualità delle materie prime rimangono una conferma.Speriamo in un vostro ripensamento almeno quello di mantenere i vari assaggini come antipasto.

01/05/2025: L'ambiente è molto suggestivo e dona un gran senso di pace. I piatti sono ottimi e abbondanti, con molta attenzione alla cucina locale. Il vino della casa lascia sorpresi per la sua bontà e l'aroma profumato. Il servizio è impeccabile, professionale ed empatico: per questo ringrazio Luca per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità. Prezzi più che onesti. Peccato averlo scoperto solo ora! Lo consiglio vivamente.

03/06/2025: The real Neapolitan pizza, fried pizza not greasy and very good, even fried foods and frittatas are really excellent. Even the desserts are not lacking, we had an excellent babà. In short, in a world of influencers and so much fluff, they, in my opinion, make the real difference. Well done!

07/06/2025: We sat down right away, we ordered pizzas and pucce but it took them forever to take the various orders and make them Mine arrived late A friend of mine never got it (they completely forgot) The meat they serve is frozen (white and red) The fish is of very poor quality They are only good at making pizzas The location makes up for it a little but overall we found it to be a terrible experience Don't go there for your own good and your wallet's sake
