17/05/2025: The ice cream at this ice cream shop is simply fantastic, so much so that I have become a regular customer. A sincere applause also goes to the staff, especially Crisalide, for the impeccable service and professionalism.

06/05/2025: I was recommended this restaurant by the hotel front desk. I found the waiters to be very polite, and while the quality of the seafood wasn’t outstanding, it was okay. Honestly, I didn’t really feel that the seafood here was significantly better than elsewhere... Maybe I had unrealistic expectations… Throughout the meal, the two young servers were very friendly and enthusiastic, which made my dining experience enjoyable. The only downside was the cashier at the end—an older lady with a poker face and a rather unfriendly attitude. Overall, I wouldn’t strongly recommend this place, but if you’re staying on the island and don’t have many other options, it’s an okay choice.

01/06/2025: Excellent tavern in the historic center of Gallipoli. Tidy and welcoming environment, super dishes! The managers, friendly and professional, know the dishes well and offer solutions in case of intolerances. Fantastic tasting menu! The 5 appetizers offer the opportunity to taste different recipes and all excellent. Tasty first and second courses and abundant dishes. Excellent wine!

06/05/2025: Place in a good location, furnishings and cuisine from the last century. The service was good, but from what I saw we were lucky with the waiter. Old menu (they still use rocket everywhere, something I haven't seen for over 30 years), good fish, linguine with clams salted twice, honest wine list but unjustifiably high final bill. Probably accustomed to hit-and-run tourism, they are not interested in keeping customers. I ate well but not great, I don't get caught anymore.

10/05/2025: Arrivati a Gallipoli abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria. Che dire, antipasto misto di pesce fantastico. Primi piatti si pesce fresco, porzioni abbondantissime. Il titolare è un personaggio! Atmosfera e locale molto caratteristico.

27/04/2025: Ristorante accogliente sulle mura con vista mare , personale gradevole e cordiale . Cucina tradizionale di Gallipoli tutto ottimo e fresco. Anche il vino rosato era molto buono.

02/02/2025: We were the only guests. Beforehand we took anchovies and zucchini flowers. Tasty. As a main course lasagna and risotto with seafood. Both have no special taste. Served just hot enough. A disappointment as far as we are concerned.

27/04/2025: In an old, perfectly renovated room, with exposed tuff block walls, there is this elegant tavern that offers typical dishes of Salento cuisine. We had fried calamari and prawns and an almond and fig semifreddo washed down with San Marzano: all excellent. Nice staff.

28/04/2025: A small address in the heart of the old town, a real butcher's shop which offers good grilled meats and local wine for good value for money. You can even choose the meat from the stall! The service is pleasant and attentive.

19/05/2025: This restaurant is all a set-up overlooking the traffic, incompetent waiters rude and rude. when I said that we would review the place the waiter replied 'you can do even 200 since we don't care we compensate with our self reviews' ahahahaha how embarrassing having said that, go to Kuni next door instead.

09/05/2025: Great selection of meat specialties, friendly staff, nice and well-kept atmosphere. I had a Bistecca Fiorentina fresh from the grill and a good mixed salad (with good olive oil and balsamic vinegar) and have rarely had such perfectly seasoned, delicious meat. Prices are okay, you can park on the side streets.
