16/02/2025: We had a fantastic meal here. Gamberoni starter and then a seafood risotto. Then a semifreddo that was also delicious. Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves good food: if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely eat here again.

Excellent service especially from the girl who served at the table... very nice and professional. I can certainly recommend it.

With a welcoming and typically Italian atmosphere, this place manages to perfectly capture the charm of the Apulian tradition. The dishes are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, from meat specialties to delicious homemade pasta. I tried the orecchiette with turnip tops and every bite was an explosion of flavours. The desserts are also not to be missed: their tiramisu is the best I've ever tasted! The staff was courteous and attentive, ready to recommend dishes and house wines. I appreciated their knowledge of local cuisine and willingness to satisfy our requests. The atmosphere of the tavern is warm and inviting, with refined furnishings that reflect the local tradition. If possible, try to sit outside to enjoy the view of the historic center. In summary, Osteria Bell'Italia is a must for anyone visiting Cisternino. Great food, impeccable service and an atmosphere that will make you feel at home. I can't wait to go back!

27/01/2025: Quite a nice place inside, located on a main street in the centre, parking is a bit penalising, but it is located in the area. I had dinner with 3 other people, consuming a portion of chips, pizzas later and two desserts but the best part comes now, the drinks. 1 Liter of Coca-Cola €7.00, Cream water €3.00, it must be specified that it is a place in Cisternino and not in Dubai and charging €7 for a coke does not mean that a person has to pay you a burden. The pizzas are chewy and with a high focaccia edge, for tiramisu I prefer the traditional one and not the one they offer as it is not a tiramisu, but it is a plate with a ball of chocolate inside where the cold coffee is then poured from above, the chocolate melts and you drink chocolate and coffee, calling it tiramisu is something...

12/01/2025: Very welcoming place, located near the old area, very good food and really excellent quality for money, the service was a bit poor, he knew there were five of us, but on the platter they put for four, so we took another one and this once there were 5 slices, it doesn't make sense...

07/01/2025: Small but clean and welcoming environment, with a lot of family atmosphere. Excellent food, cooked with the care of times gone by. We had dinner the evening before the day of the Epiphany. Short wait and finally a nice surprise with lots of culinary pampering. We must return to taste all the other things the house offers. 21/02/2025: This was recommended by a Slow Food guide, and I was thrilled that it was open in January when so many other places were closed. The meal felt special. First, the bread was good, not just obligatory filler. We ordered the house antipasti to share between the two of us and were astonished at how much food kept coming. I was especially fond of a crispy stacked zucchini assembly that I don’t know the name of and also the marinated aubergine slices. Our main courses were also delicious. I would also like to mention the kindness of the team that fed us, both front-of-house and kitchen. I felt in the presence of goodness.

19/02/2025: We wished we spoke better Italian to properly thank the chef! Experiencing Puglia in winter where there is not a soul and somehow we found the perfect place to have a comforting meal. Service and food impeccable, we felt welcomed and the food was delicious! 100% recommend.

11/02/2025: Characteristic barbecue in the heart of the Itria valley. We waited a while before sitting down but it was worth it.

12/01/2025: This was a wonderful experience, we didn't really understand the process, you choose your meat first, they then take in and cook in the wood oven, while you walk though to restaurant. Food was great, meat cooked to perfect, crispy, charred but still juicy. We had bombette, sausage and veal strip + potatoes, (baked and covered in olive oil and salt came close to stealing the show) and well as grill eggplant and zucchini. The meal is simple but perfect. The setting is atmospheric. One of my fave dining experiences in Pulgia.
