Each dish is a perfect balance between innovation and respect for the raw materials, transforming simple ingredients into an explosion of sophisticated flavors. Every bite reveals meticulous attention to textures and an aesthetic presentation that delights the eye even before the palate.
The service was excellent, with professional, friendly, and attentive waiters, capable of describing each course with passion and expertise.
10/05/2026: Vecchio Forno restaurant never disappoints. We've been going there for about 20 years and it's never disappointed. This time, too, we had a truly excellent lunch. Impeccable service as always, thanks to our longtime waiter Tommaso and the new staff: well done everyone. Kudos to Angelo for the quality and consistency. Keep up the good work!

04/05/2026: UNPRECEDENTED DISORGANIZATION!
We booked well in advance for 5 adults and 3 children for a Sunday lunch... we arrived (right on time), only to discover that our reservation wasn't there because it was cancelled after we supposedly made a confirmation call to the wrong number (which clearly no one answered). An unacceptable situation... they came from another town specifically, children who needed to eat, a bad impression on the friends we had booked for... in short, a DISASTER! No apologies and no attempt to make amends... so recommended only if you want to risk a complete dud... TERRIBLE!
04/05/2026: A good seafood trattoria. Excellent value. The menu is varied and tasty, including some unexpected culinary innovations. The staff is attentive and polite, and offers good advice.

19/04/2026: We celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. We were very satisfied. The food was excellent and plentiful. It was difficult to finish the courses. The fish was fresh and the service impeccable. The prices were fair. The owner was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

04/05/2026: A well-maintained, well-organized establishment with courteous and helpful staff. I've been a customer for five years and have never had a problem. Congratulations.
19/04/2026: We arrive at 1:00 PM sharp. We're among the first to be seated, we order, and the appetizers arrive immediately. So far, so good. Once the appetizers are finished, we wait for the first courses. An hour passes and nothing, we ask the waiter, and he tells us they're preparing the dishes, another hour passes and they tell us the dishes are arriving. In the meantime, we order a fried fish dish for the second course, considering how long it takes for the first course. It's 4:00 PM when the first courses finally arrive. Spaghetti with seafood. With raw mussels and closed clams. Disappointed with the first course, we wait for the fried fish to satisfy our taste buds, but only the waiter comes to tell us that the fried fish is finished. Meanwhile, it's 4:30 PM. We get up to pay the bill, and not a single euro is discounted. It's a shame because the place is very nice.

22/08/2025: A beautiful beach, with large umbrellas and plenty of space between them, a bar, and a large outdoor terrace. In the evening, there's piano music, excellent cocktails, and delicious cuisine.
20/08/2025: We spent just 2 days at this fantastic beach resort equipped with every comfort. First of all, the welcome upon our arrival by the brunette lady whose name I unfortunately don't know. The bar and restaurant with all its kind, professional staff and impeccable service and then the very attention to detail in the environment. We had a great time.

15/04/2024: Di passaggio a Barletta ci siamo fermati in questo lido con ristorante e abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. La frittura è stata ottima con pesce freschissimo e bella croccante, non unta. Il primo ci ha davvero sorpreso per l'armonia di profumi: dei fusilli con rucola, vongole e melanzane veramente gustosi. Da sottolineare la gentilezza dei camerieri, i prezzi giusti e la posizione ottima, con facilità di parcheggio e una bella terrazza vista mare. Sono molto soddisfatto.
25/02/2024: Vengo spesso a Barletta per lavoro e tutte le volte non posso fare a meno di mangiare in questo ristorante. Sono venuto per la prima volta con un mio collega e ormai lo frequento da anni. Di solito mangio a pranzo con menù alla carta e a cena faccio il menù in convenzione per gli operai (ce ne sono una trentina tutte le sere di varie aziende). Il menù alla carta è infinito piatti di mare buonissimi pesce e frutti di mare freschissimi e ogni volta mi propongono dei fuori carta spettacolari. L'ultima volta ho mangiato dei tagliolini cacio e pepe con tartufo e tartare di gamberi rossi... uno spettacolo. Anche il menù in convenzione è molto conveniente, con 20€ mangi primo, secondo con contorno, acqua e calice di vino e caffè, in più portano sempre degli antipastini. Q
ualità eccellente e possibilità di scegliere primo e secondo sia di mare che di terra, in alternativa fanno anche la pizza molto buona e sottile come piace a me. In estate mi metto sempre giù in spiaggia dove spesso fanno dei concerti. Personale gentilissimo e simpaticissimo, lo consiglio.
