08/06/2026: Beautiful historic building in the center of Polignano. The restaurant offers parking for guests, very convenient given the summer heat. We dined on Saturday; the appetizer was good, but the pizza was superior. Impeccable service; we thank Tomas for his patience and his ever-present smile. Recommended.

Everything was impeccable, starting with the service: the very kind Massimo accompanied us until the end of the evening, pampering us and fulfilling our every request. The dishes were beautifully presented and, ultimately, delicious—so much so that we cleaned our plates every single time! This little corner of paradise was a pleasant discovery. 11/07/2026: Beautiful and elegant location, I would add even very renowned, right in the center of Polignano a Mare. A terrible experience, not to be repeated. We were guests at an anniversary that fell on a holiday. Inspired by the great and good name around, we had high expectations. Lunch was a disappointment! The dishes were meager and of low quality. The meat and fish were undoubtedly not fresh, as more than one guest became ill by the end of the evening. The meat was also of a terrible color and there were four chips on the side. The cake was dry, there was not even a hint of syrup or cream. Extremely slow service: we started at 1 pm and finished at 9 pm (for the main appetizer, 1 first course, 1 second course, and obviously fruit and dessert)... the waiters were certainly very polite and helpful, but overall, a huge disappointment.

22/09/2025: Simply excellent! A very, very warm welcome. The manager comes up with you to show you your room and is very available to provide any information you may need throughout the evening! The rooms are perfectly comfortable, the location is also perfect, and the view is breathtaking. I recommend it 1000%.

07/07/2026: Wonderful and delicious food. I highly recommend it, large portions and, above all, delicious. It doesn't look inviting from the outside, but for me, the quality of the food and taste are more important than the appearance of the restaurant. I wanted to subtract one star, but I can't because the taste, the number of portions, and the excellent service from the waiter (a slim, charming man) exceeded that. Coming back to why I wanted to subtract one star... I'm not prejudiced, and I simply noticed that even though there weren't many people, the elderly woman (presumably the owner) clearly had a look on her face when the gentleman at the entrance agreed to let us in, as if she didn't want to serve us, giving the gentleman an angry grimace. This remains in my mind as a slight sour taste... I can't find anything else to complain about. I highly recommend it and would gladly visit this restaurant again.

17/06/2026: From the outside, the Osteria looks a bit neglected...but inside, and especially on the large terrace, it's wonderful. We had pasta, which wasn't particularly good, but the restaurant specializes in meat, which is apparently really delicious; our carpaccio was very good. Skip the pasta. Definitely make a reservation on Saturdays. The restaurant is very popular!

10/06/2026: Everything was excellent, from the pasticciotti to the ice cream parlor. Clean and welcoming place, very kind and helpful staff, I recommend it as a very sweet stop 🥰 for those visiting Polignano

09/06/2026: We tried two cakes: the famous lemon cake and another traditional cake soaked with alcohol. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy either of them at all. The Gelato Gallipoli also wasn't to our taste. The only thing we really liked was the cake, which was actually quite good. Another disappointing surprise was the extra charge for eating inside the shop. Charging significantly more just for sitting down feels unreasonable. Overall, the experience did not live up to the reputation.

14/05/2026: A small focacceria with a very friendly owner and spectacular focaccia served hot, soft and crispy for €2 per slice. Highly recommended!

05/07/2026: The Artists' Café can't be described; it must be experienced. Mr. Franco's welcome, Enzo's smile with his delicious cappuccinos, the super-friendly girls at the bar and at the tables, and the €1 cappuccino and €1 croissant policy make the place truly unique and human.

06/07/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday and I can tell you that, apart from the excellent quality and price, the staff is a delight, they treat you not like a customer, but like a friend. I recommend you try their delicacies 😍

03/07/2026: I paid €46 for three Margherita pizzas and a tub of seafood salad (I think it was ready-made). The problem, besides the outrageous price, was that the pizza was raw underneath and lacked flavor, and the seafood salad... let's forget it.

04/07/2026: When the beach in Polginano a mare proved worse than expected we found our selves at Porto Cavalli. After a short walk we stumbled upon this absolute Gem out of no where. The prices are the same as in the city but the quality of food isn’t even comparable. This place is an experience. The not just the vibe and the atmosphere, but after the first bite of the orange sea bream tartare it was clear that this restaurant was different. The flavor forced me to slow down and in a moment I realized I would spend hours here and not minutes. Every dish and every drink we tried was amazing. This restaurant changed my standard for dining abroad and renewed my love of food. I could not recommend it more, and I wish more establishments were like this one. Incredible. Fantastic. Magnifico.
