Delicious panzerotti with mozzarella and tomatoes, basic version, super hot and fresh, watch out for the hot cheese flowing out! Warm service in the beautiful surroundings of the old Monopoli. It is worth tasting the Puglian specialty. A cold small beer from the fridge complements the whole perfectly. This snack is great while exploring the city.

If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful plus also tasty bite do yourself a favor and grab a panzerroti here. We had the rapé greens with pomodoro and anchovies. Simply delish. Also grabbed a bresola panino -Yum!

Abbiamo scoperto questo locale tramite i social. Si trova nel centro di Monopoli, e da quando andiamo in Salento per le nostre vacanze, trovandoci a passare da qui, è tappa obbligatoria per la sosta pranzo! Il locale è praticamente un banco che si affaccia sulla via, lo si riconosce anche dalle insegne all'esterno con le proposte di farcitura dei panzerotti, oltre a presentare delle simpatiche istruzioni su come mangiarli! Il personale è molto gentile e cordiale e il servizio anche abbastanza veloce, anche se le volte che ci siamo trovati ad ordinare non c'erano molte persone. Trovo molto buoni i panzerotti, la frittura è fatta molto bene creando una crosticina croccante fuori che però non è eccessivamente dura da far sgretolare l'impasto. A proposito di quest'ultimo, offrono la possibilità di scegliere tra farina di grano e di cannabis. La farcitura è sostanziosa e molto gustosa, gli ingredienti dei panzerotti che abbiamo provato si sentono tutti. L'unica cosa che farei forse è ampliare un po' la proposta, ma tutto sommato ogni volta che ci andiamo non sappiamo mai subito cosa prendere perché prenderemmo tutti i condimenti! I prezzi sono ok, si parte dai 4 euro circa per un massimo di 6 euro, quindi è un locale accessibile ai più. Consigliato assolutamente se si vuole fare uno spuntino tipico. Ci torneremo come nostro solito!

We discovered this place through social media. It is located in the center of Monopoli, and since we go to Salento for our holidays, finding ourselves passing through here, it is an obligatory stop for a lunch stop! The place is practically a counter that overlooks the street, you can also recognize it by the signs outside with the suggestions for filling the panzerotti, as well as presenting some nice instructions on how to eat them! The staff is very kind and friendly and the service is also quite fast, even if the times we found ourselves ordering there weren't many people. I find the panzerotti very good, the frying is done very well creating a crunchy crust on the outside which however is not excessively hard to make the dough crumble. Speaking of the latter, they offer the possibility to choose between wheat and cannabis flour. The filling is substantial and very tasty, you can taste all the ingredients of the panzerotti we tried. The only thing I would perhaps do is expand the offering a bit, but all in all every time we go we never immediately know what to have because we would take all the condiments! The prices are ok, starting from around 4 euros to a maximum of 6 euros, so it is a place accessible to most. Absolutely recommended if you want to have a typical snack. We will be back as usual!

Delicious panzerotti but be aware the tomato and mozzarella is VERY hot

Che dire... tappa obbligatoria ogni volta che si viene qui a Monopoli. La seconda volta che passo dei giorni qui, e anche questa volta non ho potuto resistere al loro panzerotto. Fatto al momento dopo pochi minuti, panzerotto fritto bene non olioso e sopratutto ingredienti ottimi. Tappa assolutamente da fare 🤩
