Stile Libero In Altamura

We visited Stile Libero's new location. It's not just a restaurant, it's a showcase of beauty and hospitality that raises the bar for local excellence. The impact is breathtaking, the venue meticulously curated with attention to detail, a perfect balance between modern elegance and welcoming warmth. The open kitchen is a spectacle, as is the outdoor seating area: a space overlooking an enchanting garden, featuring a manicured lawn and olive trees. It's the ideal place to unwind and be literally kissed by the sun, sipping a glass of wine immersed in the tranquility of nature. Dishes are revisited, preserving the essence of our land without ever betraying its soul. One of its most obvious strengths is its incredible versatility. Despite its sophisticated setting, Stile Libero manages to be extremely inclusive: it's the perfect destination for a romantic dinner, but it's especially exceptional for families, thanks to the large open spaces where children can soak up the beauty. The staff makes the experience unforgettable. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, capable of explaining each dish with expertise, but always with that genuine friendliness that makes you feel not just a customer, but an honored guest. I'm disappointed because I've returned to the old restaurant several times over the years. The prices were a bit above average, but so was the pizza. In fact, I'd dare say the pizza was the best in Altamura, or at least in the top three. And I have no doubt it still is, but now things have gone too far in my opinion. Basically, if you don't want a Margherita, you're forced to spend at least €10 for a pizza, and €7 for a Margherita is already outrageous! I also don't understand this reorganization of the menu, which has effectively eliminated several "classic" pizzas. I will continue to defend pizza as a humble food, so I won't be returning. All the other restaurants that follow the same path will follow (and there will surely be some), and at this rate, the fate is that I'll start making pizza at home and never eat out again. I know I'm one of the few people who thinks this way, and I know you'll continue to have a full house (and I hope so, no matter what), but I think we've really lost our way, and the worst part is, things are only going to get worse. Wide variety of pizzas, with the option of choosing from a pan pizza with various doughs or traditional pizzas, enriched with high-quality and unique ingredients (like the pizzas pictured: almonds and honey or Valle d'Itria with Gorgonzola and pear). A limited selection of classic pizzeria appetizers, which, however, allow you to fully indulge in a delicious pizza 🍕

I've traveled a lot in Italy, I've always been curious to taste and try pizzas from many cities, I've tried pizzas from big names that you see advertised on social media (I don't want to name names) but until now no pizza has thrilled me like the Stile Libero one! And I'm not exaggerating!! 👍 Congratulations!!!

We went with friends to this beautiful pizzeria, although it's very narrow and limited in seating. It's very clean and everything is visible. The appetizers are quality, and the pizzas are truly excellent. BUT... on the menu, you'll find pan pizzas, which aren't pizzas at all, but a kind of thick focaccia with a little topping on top. It's good, but you're disappointed because you expect a pizza but get a focaccia. I would suggest the owners specify on the menu that it's a three-finger-thick focaccia. A wheelchair could fit inside, but with great difficulty. Parking on the street outside is easy.

Efficient, competent, and helpful staff. Excellent food and minimal wait times, despite a large influx.

A well-run bar, good pizzas, and croissants are better in Altamura, but they're still good. The only complaint is that the coffee isn't good, bordering on undrinkable. It costs €1.20. The importance of coffee is often underestimated, and I think that's a big mistake.
