The initial welcome was very warm and hospitable, making us feel immediately at ease.
Unsure of what to try, we relied on the staff's recommendations, who suggested house specialties like cavatelli and stracotto.
Great value for money.
I highly recommend it if you're in Altamura.

The owner even asked us how our lunch was going, which was very welcome. Being greeted with a smile makes you feel at home! Thank you, we'll be back.

02/03/2026: In the past, I often stopped by for a quick lunch and was always satisfied with everything. Then, for a variety of reasons, I no longer found myself in the area, but after years I finally stopped for dinner and I must say that it is as worth it as ever in every respect. If you want to eat well in a quiet place, a stop here is a must.

07/01/2026: A unique place that reeks of history and serves delicious food even during siesta, when all other restaurants are closed. A big plus for that! You can sit across from it, in the stone gateway, and still soak up the history while savoring a delicious pizza crust by the pound.
07/01/2026: On the first day, access was literally blocked by a dense, cheerful Italian crowd, patiently waiting or enjoying their focaccia in a wonderful atmosphere… despite the icy wind. We gave up.
The second day, exactly the same scenario. Another attempt, another failure.
What's the mystery?
On the third day, finally, we understood the reason for the crowds. The focaccia and the bread were simply exceptional. Of remarkable quality, they fully justified the wait: here, patience is richly rewarded.

15/02/2026: Incredible quality. The best pizza I've ever had. The menu is varied and perfect for all palates, every ingredient is top-quality, and the pizza dough is light. The value for money is fair, and the service was young and excellent, even though it was Valentine's Day and the dining room was packed. Requests for changes to one pizza were accepted without any complaints. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back to try other options. Great job!

The wine selection was excellent. The owner's empathetic professionalism made the lunch even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.
15/02/2026: The atmosphere and service were definitely good....but I think I'm comparing it more to a restaurant than a pizzeria...because for me, the pizza was a no-no.
The appetizers, on the other hand, were excellent.

16/03/2026: The place is very beautiful, but gentlemen, being crammed together without being able to move back with your chair, no way! Not to mention during the dance...
I must also say that the manager was very hesitant to respond to my requests.
So much so that I canceled the event I had booked with them!
Too bad, this charming place isn't managed as well.
The appetizers were excellent, the first courses were decent, but the meat was bland.
11/03/2026: Beautiful farmhouse.. I stayed for a weekend.. nice big rooms.. even the bathroom.. but I have to make a comment about the cleanliness.. the pillowcase had a blood stain and the sheet had a hole.. and there was a bit of dust around.. even on the toilet paper holder for example.. the rooms were far from the reception, restaurant, breakfast room in fact you had to walk more than 500 meters from one place to the other.. but all in all we had a good time.. good breakfast both sweet and savory.. good staff.. Behind the room there were the stables with animals.. cows.. horses.. donkeys sheep.. despite the smell I appreciated their presence and also waking up to a cow in the morning, 😁 because I love animals..

Typical and authentic dishes are served and explained with expert care.
We were welcomed with great warmth and "pampered" from the appetizers to the homemade desserts.
Each dish, prepared with love, expresses all the experience and infinite passion of Mr. Peppino and his wife Irene.
Dining at CENZINO is not only a delicious experience, but also a cultural one.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
