02/03/2025: I went to the Pein Assutt restaurant on Saturday for lunch with my family for a special occasion. We enjoyed homemade spaghettoni with horse braciole ragù and stracciatella, truly delicious. For second courses, very tender horse braciole, pork sausage with porcini mushrooms and an excellent horse rib. The appetizer, consisting of seven different dishes including cured meats, cheeses, zucchini alla poverella, stuffed friggitelli and fried artichokes, was perfect. The local wine was excellent, accompanied by the famous Altamura bread, always a guarantee. We concluded lunch with a selection of typical Altamura desserts that completely satisfied us. The restaurant is located in the center of Altamura, easily accessible, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. An experience that I recommend to those looking for typical Apulian dishes prepared with care and quality!

08/03/2025: During our week in Puglia, we couldn't miss stopping at Antico Forno Santa Caterina. As soon as we entered, we were enveloped by an unmistakable scent: that of a bakery that preserves tradition, where bread is still baked in a wood-fired oven every day. It is wonderful to watch the comings and goings of delicacies that enter and exit the oven, but the most fascinating experience is undoubtedly seeing Signora Teresa at work. Next to the hot brazier, with ancient and wise gestures, she prepares fresh orecchiette for lunch. A ritual that smells of genuineness and authenticity, an added value that I hope will never be lost. The quality of the food exceeded all expectations. We tasted the focaccias, the bread and the brioches, and we still can't say which was the best. We will definitely be back.

16/02/2025: We traveled many kilometers to reach Calvi restaurant and have a different culinary experience. In fact, both my partner and I were positively impressed. Well-kept and elegant location, menu with different proposals. We ordered amberjack meatballs, soft salmon and as first courses we opted for the must from Calvi restaurant. For desserts, a flan and a tiramisu. All very good, high quality. The only flaw, the tiramisu, in my opinion very sweet. However, it is with great regret that we do not express such a positive opinion regarding the quality of the service. In addition to the 40 minute wait to order, various oversights and the difficulty in attracting the attention of the waitresses, one episode left us perplexed. A waitress was asked what the restaurant's desserts were. We were told: "those on the menu". An answer, in our opinion, unprofessional. Overall however, we would like to recommend Calvi restaurant and we will certainly return if we are in the area.

26/02/2025: Beautiful place both the indoor area and the outdoor area we went there for dinner for a 40° and we regularly take the takeaway pizza superlative pizzas and restaurant quality of food and ingredients superlative place that takes great care of the quality of the dishes and pizzas at very honest prices for the quality of the service they offer. If only we had more places like this good guys!

10/02/2025: I went there often for multiple reasons. In winter, courses are often organized by external associations on which the farm grants internal spaces and those of the Mercadante forest, another crucial attraction of the farm. It offers picnic spaces with barbecues to rent in advance. Excellent space for days with friends but also with children. I recommend it if you are in the area.
