29/06/2026: It was recommended to us as a way to escape the scorching heat of those days, and indeed, the restaurant's garden, combined with Caprino Veronese's gentle altitude, made for a delightful evening. We ordered pizza (of which there is a wide selection), which was simply excellent, thanks to its dough: the basic dough, included in the price, is left to rise for 72 hours and is made with organic flours (types 0 and 1). The result is a light and crispy pizza. Last but not least, the restaurant is beautiful and welcoming, the staff is very friendly, offering attentive service, and the prices are reasonable.

25/07/2026: A very welcoming place, with a beautiful view of the Lessini Mountains, and the interior is also very well-kept and clean. The staff is always smiling and polite, and it's nice that a suburban pizzeria gives young locals a chance to work. The menu is extensive, with various types of dough and quality ingredients. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that when booking online, you're told your table must be vacated within an hour and a half, which can be a bit intimidating.

23/07/2026: Let me start by saying that we'd already ordered their takeout pizzas several times, and they were always delicious. This time we decided to eat directly in the restaurant and try something different from pizza. We had potatoes with Monte Veronese cheese and bacon as an appetizer, followed by two sandwiches, a classic with bacon and smoked meat, and a polenta au gratin. When we ordered, we didn't think the food would be as good as the pizzas, but we were sorely mistaken; everything was amazing, the portions just right and the cooking perfect. We finished off with a dreamy gelato and coffees that are rarely found of this quality in a restaurant. The service was also impeccable; the wait staff is quick, smiling, polite, and professional. If you happen to pass through Cerro, you absolutely must stop by and try it; we'll definitely be back.

28/05/2026: We were looking for a restaurant that served dishes with truffles and came across this one. The waiters were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. We came because of the good reviews and were disappointed; I really wonder how they came about. The truffle pizza was very bad and had nothing to do with truffles. The margarita didn't have any fresh truffles but was edible. The pasta with truffle tasted like store-bought pasta. If anyone is looking for these two dishes, I would definitely say "don't go here."

14/01/2026: We happened to be passing by on our way back from vacation and, looking for a gluten-free restaurant, we stumbled upon this beautiful place. In addition to the beautifully decorated interior, the gluten-free options are truly varied and thoughtful. Although it's not AIC certified, we found much more information and attention to detail than other certified restaurants. The gluten-free dishes are also excellent. The owner and staff are very kind and welcoming. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

11/01/2026: I recently discovered it, but I'll definitely be back. Excellent ingredients, friendly and attentive service. The place is well-kept and you almost feel at home. The wine list is impressive.

26/06/2026: The place looks quiet from the outside, but once inside, you'll find a truly inviting atmosphere with incredibly good, authentic food. The service is exquisite, and the waiters are willing to answer even the most difficult questions about the food. The price is reasonable.

21/05/2026: Delicious food, both pasta and chicken. Good portions to fill you up. Friendly service (they also speak German). The ambiance was a bit inconvenient since we were sitting in the alley and many people walked past our table. Better to choose a seat on the terrace! Otherwise, highly recommended!

20/05/2026: I was skeptical at first, but then the food and the staff really won me over. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The price was reasonable too.

16/06/2026: Little more than a pub with lots of (good) pasta and a wide selection of sauces and condiments. The service is a bit cold.

14/06/2026: Excellent bigoli in many sauces, good portions, excellent value for money, kind and professional staff, you have to go there many times to try all the sauces, 10 out of 10

20/04/2026: It's rare to return to the same restaurant two days in a row, but Il Bacaro enchanted us. We found top-notch cuisine (excellent food!) in an extremely clean and well-kept environment. The difference, however, is in the people: the owner is extremely kind and the entire team is exceptionally courteous. A perfect experience that I recommend to anyone seeking quality and warmth in Verona.

Meticulously prepared and delicious dishes, excellent pizzas, very friendly service, an intimate atmosphere, and excellent prices. Special mention for the house-made macaroni and caramel panna cotta. 21/05/2026: Excellent ‘pizza by the slice’ service. Superb value and very friendly service by staff that were patient and helpful with my half-Italian, half-English requests. Pizza was delicious, clearly fresh and cooked to perfection.

08/07/2026: We spontaneously decided to go there as a couple. We arrived around 6:15 pm and still had our pick of tables. We were greeted with a complimentary bitters. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was delicious (spaghetti with seafood and salad), and watching the other diners at neighboring tables enjoy their meals made us want more ;-) We'd definitely go back.
