23/08/2024: I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. As a pizza enthusiast, I truly appreciate a well-crafted pizza, with the Neapolitan style being my favorite (though I can also enjoy a good New York slice). Naturally, I started with the small Bufala pizza to set a benchmark. It was unlike any pizza I've had before. The crust was partly wholegrain, maintaining the same thickness throughout, yet it was light and airy. The tomato sauce was intensely flavorful, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, and the mozzarella di bufala was of excellent quality, its distinctive buffalo milk taste clearly discernible. Next, I tried the polenta and codfish pizza, which surprised me with its presentation. The codfish and polenta had been processed into a creamy paste, which paired remarkably well with the sesame crust. While this pizza wasn’t my personal favorite due to the strong fishy taste, this is more a matter of personal preference than a reflection of the dish's quality. The highlight of the meal was the horse tartare pizza. Having never tried horse meat before, I was eager to experience it, and it did not disappoint. The horse tartare was tender, juicy, and slightly reminiscent of beef tartare, but with a subtle sweetness. Texturally, this pizza was the most intriguing of the three, with the crispy and airy wholegrain crust harmonizing beautifully with the tender horse tartare. One aspect that stood out was the meticulous attention to temperature. The pizzas never arrived piping hot but were served at the perfect temperature, ready to eat immediately without any waiting. This careful control of temperature extended to the dessert as well—the sorbet was served in a cooled ceramic bowl, which helped maintain its consistency over a longer period of time. If you’re looking for a typical pizza that adheres to traditional norms, this place might surprise you. However, if you’re open to a well-thought-out, pizza-inspired fine dining experience, this is a must-visit if you're in the area.

20/08/2024: I haven't eaten flours and cereals for 10 years, except on very rare occasions and this is one. In summary: fantastic pizza, the proposals are each more intriguing than the other. Different doughs for each type of pizza. I tried the pigeon one... amazing! Cereal dough: the use of sourdough and high quality ingredients did not lead me to have any negative effects, an indicator of quality. The service is quick, informal but attentive. The girl who served us added a bit of a personal touch to the service: I underline this because I have read negative comments about the service which were not reflected in my experience. The pizzas are offered in two sizes: small and large. The 4 of us opted for 4 small pizzas, we struggled to get to the bottom. Price more than adequate for the quality of what we ate. We will definitely be back!!!

27/08/2024: Albisano is a place that stays with you forever, I think. Le Tavernette is the mirror of the synthesis between history, modernity and the pleasantness of the place. Having only eaten pizza I cannot have an overall opinion of the cuisine. The pizza itself is not up to par (the classic margherita had a salty tomato, with unsuitable mozzarella and no basil) but the beauty of the place makes up for it all.

14/08/2024: Great pastas. It is worth ordering a local specialty, not on the menu, spaghetti all'assassina. Seafood version - amazing!

12/08/2024: Very cool place, the lunch menu cost 11€ per person, it's very cool and it was very tasty, we will definitely come again when we visit Bari next time!

25/07/2024: When I can I go to eat at the lake with the family. What can I say, the food is very good, from pizza to meat to fish. We always leave satisfied!

04/07/2024: Everything was good, the wonderful variation of cod, the seafood salad, the grilled food were wonderful, a very small flaw was that the frying was less dry but divine.... what can I say, go and finish with the pancakes or other dessert... the lake is a guarantee

22/08/2024: IT'S CLOSED!!! For all tourists who want to eat there - it's closed. We were there at different times and days and it always says that it is closed for the "holidays".

21/08/2024: A place to eat excellent bigoli, I think with a hundred different condiments, in a small, rustic environment and in contact with other people, but absolutely worth trying. Very friendly staff even though it is always full of people. I really liked the "old trattoria" way.

02/08/2024: Mein Mann und ich waren mit unserer 8 Monate alten Tochter in diesem Restaurant. Obwohl unsere Tochter nichts gegessen hat (wie auch, sie ist 8 Monate alt) mussten wir für sie die Gedeck-Gebühren zahlen. Unser Essen (Spagetti Bolognese & Carbonara) war nichts besonderes. 2 Punkte vergebe ich nur, weil das Personal wirklich sehr nett war.

15/07/2024: Delicious pizza and tons of options. Servers are very nice but not much English spoken in this area so be prepared. We went twice during our stay because it was just THAT GOOD. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in Verona.

06/08/2024: Food was delicious! Only the staff is against it. The first question was whether we were in the hotel or not. We were not staying at the hotel, but came to eat there. Our 'neighbors' were in the hotel. They were treated royally, quickly and above all, kindly. We had to ask for the menu 3 times (while our neighbors were already eating their starter). When we were finally able to ask for the bill after a long wait, it was placed on the table without saying anything. If everything was full, I can understand that you could give less personal attention, but the restaurant was not even half full. Food was tasty, service bad.

06/08/2024: Double setback, first a second piatti with a quantity of a primi piatti and then waited 1 hour for a dessert menu, a shame for such a Ristorante

03/09/2024: good pizzeria not far from the Arena. We stopped by in the evening to have a snack because we rented an apartment very close. two good pizzas (fior di latte and pizza with prosciutto), a glass of Valpolicella and lager - for only 28 euros, including coperto. The place is full of people in the evenings.

29/07/2024: We ate the pizza and it was very good, wide choice of flavours. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and you can choose whether to stay outside or inside in the summer. A little difficult to find parking in the area but you can find it.

19/08/2024: Congratulations for the quality of the pizza. A light dough filled just right. Attentive and smiling staff. Clean and tidy place, absolutely recommended. Compared to pizza competitors always in the pan or by the slice, excellent value for money.

30/07/2024: We walked past this pizzeria and the pizza looked so appealing that we had to grab a slice. There is no whole pizza but many different pieces, these are weighed. We paid €6.70 for two long pieces of pizza. I found the price more than fair. In any case, no savings are made when it comes to ingredients and the quality of these ingredients. You can either eat on site or take everything away. The pizza is put back in the oven and can be taken away. You can pay by card or cash. It was very delicious :)
